If I used one Apple I.D to download an app, but no longer exists, how do I update the app with my new i.d?
I downloaded The Pages app, and now need to update it. But the apple i.d i used to download the app doesnt exist and now i dont know how to update pages with my new i.d. How do I update my old apps!?

Apps can only be updated by the Apple ID used to buy them. Apple does not transfer content from one ID to another.Apple does not merge IDs. Unless you want to buy the app with the new Apple ID, you need to recover the old ID.

Turn off My PhotoStream in iCloud on both the iPad and the Mac. PhotoStream is what shares your photos (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library Beta, in which case, all photos uploaded are accessible from all devices signed onto the same Apple/iCloud ID).

You should always have your apps on your computer. If you have failed to keep a copy of the old app versions, then you cannot get them back at all.

I downloaded an app off the store which said it was free and part of the 5 year promotion.

You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual. -

By default your new Time Capsule will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a network name of something like: Apple Network NNNNNN
Most likely your iMacs will be connected to the wireless network created by the Virgin Media router. However, both should see the Apple Network under the AirPort icon's drop-down menu as another wireless network that they can connect to. Is this not the case? -

2 - Do you mean using other softwares based on folders rather than databases ?
3 - Or do you mean working with different catalogs ?
If you don't want to use the Organizer, it's not possible to 'delete' it, but it is simple not to use it.
Most other organizing solutions include the choice of selecting PSE editor as the external editor
There are various solutions depending on your platform : Windows, Mac, Linux...
It's important to know if you prefer the folders or database organization to suggest possible solutions. -

my daughter went to prision, so I have her old IPAD which I bought her. She can't remember her passcode so I can't update the apps on it. I created a new apple ID for her, but how do I get it on the IPAD??
You can tap on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log in with the new account.
But any content that was purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps. You can try resetting the password for the old account by going to http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' -
I recetly purchased a 2012 MacBook Air. I registered it under my apple id. Everything works just fine however when I try to update the version of iMovie and iPhoto it says that I can't update them b/c they are registered under a different apple id. I tried to delete the apps however was unable as it required me to put in the other apple id.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -

In light of the latest Firefox and the fact that it does not listen to my download retention setting and that "browser.download.panel.removeFinishedDownloads" no longer exists, how do I clear the download history automatically after each download without clearing browser history too? If this is not an option then it is either a serious bug or an important feature removed. If this continues, this is a big reason for me to discontinue using firefox. Really guys! Why?!

Oh, wait, the downloads I keep seeing are not located in any particular folder but scattered across my computer in different folders I manually save them to. Would this make any difference? In any event, I can still see the download history, and I so much prefer the old way. -

Each person needs to have their own separate Apple ID along with their own separate computer user account and iTunes Library.
