How does Amazon get billed if someone purchases something from Amazon from within their iPhone application?
Any in-app purchases are subject to the 30% withholding.
No way around it.
Amazon purchases are physical items (not digital) and do not go through in-app purchase so they are exempt.

I purchased an IPhone back in April but have yet to ever update it using the itunes. Today I installed ITunes64 version 10.5.0.142 and connected my IPhone to my PC. After this I went to the IPhone and clicked the check for updates button. After updating my phone was restored and I had lost all of it's contacts, apps, photos, and everytihng. Is there anyway to recover my stuff?
TomIn the process of updating the iphone,the update process performs a backup of your phone prior to updating the ios software. Connect your phone via usb,if itunes doesn't luanch,then luanch the app manually,on the left side pane of itunes the name of your phone will be listed under devices,right click on the name of your phone,and select restore from backup, then just follow the process. In the future it's very important to backup your iphone on a regular basis via icloud or itunes.Hope it all goes well for you
After rereading your oringinal post, I would first just resync it via itunes on your computer before I did a rstore from backup. -
My ipad has stopped updating apps. It doesn't even ask for password, it just oges to the apps screen showing empty progress bars. I've re-synced account and restarted but with no luck. Other than deleting the apps is there anyway around this?
OK. I will work backwards.
You certainly don't want to have to delete apps every time that they need an update, for any number of reasons. Losing data first and foremost would be a drag, but the overall hassle would be absurd. All things being equal, you should be able to update apps in the future after you delete them and reinstall them. I delete and reinstall apps all the time and I am also able to update them when updates are available for the apps. I just wanted to know if you had any success in any fashion installing apps.
Resyncing/refreshing the Apple ID/iTunes account wouldn't seem to be the issue either if you can download apps or other content from the iStores. Your ID is being accepted.
That leaves us with I'm not sure what. But I think I would try this trick fix and see if it helps.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again. -
Last night as I was setting up the pin I got distracted and entered the wrong one, now I can't access my phone as I don't know what I entered. Is there anyway around this or do I have to wipe my phone and sign in with my Apple ID and restore from icloud??
I can't ask for help on chat as I'm away from home and don't have the box with me, and obviously can't get the serial number in my phone as I've locked myself out!!

The only way is to create an Apple ID without a credit card. The one you currently created will not work, it has to be a new one, and use this support document to do it. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

The same problem I have today afternoon.
My car audio system is compatible with iPod USB connector and worked fine for also 6 months.
When connecting my iPod nano 6rd gen via USB to car audio system, iPod displays on its screen a sucessfull connection, and music tracks is successfully displayed on the car audio system. But do not play. Switch forward or backward by playlist (by the buttons on the car audio system) works also, but still there is no start playback.
I tried plugged my iPhone 5 via USB to car audio system - it's works fine.
I plugged iPod to my mac computer - itunes says it's all Ok.
I am confused and do not understand what is happening.
May be restoring to default factory settings iPod.... -

I have a project for school and have been told to use CMYK. i've never used CMYK before and know nothing about it other than CMYK standing for Cyan Magenta Yellow Key.
is it not possible to get bright, neon-y colors (the kind of color that is in the upperright hand side of the color box, like this green for example) ? when i try to choose colors like that, photoshop chooses a darker color instead, giving me a warning sign that the one i chose is "out of gamut for printing". is there anyway around this?It is not possible to get bright, saturated greens in CMYK. Here's a plot of the color gamut (available colors) of sRGB, the web colorspace (wireframe) compared to SWOP CMYK (the solid color area). See how in the bright greens there's a huge hole missing in the SWOP gamut.
You can work in RGB, and soft-proof CMYK (View > proof colors), converting as you save out a file for print. Don't worry too much, as most greens you see in print have this same limitation, and as long as you don't hold a neon green up for comparison, they usually look OK. -

Rajagopal.pngr :- It is only a holding charge, it is not a permanent charge. If it isn't refunded within a few days or so (and it quite possibly won't be over a weekend) then you can query the charge with Apple. -
I have just installed iTunes for the first time. When I run the application I get a "iTunes not working" message. Operating system Vista (32 bit). I have tried reinstalling with all firewalls off, but still no success. Have other people had this problem?

I can't get my registered versions of CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator to run in full mode. I installed CS6 Design Standard online end of June (an upgrade from CS5.5), on my old MacBook Pro. I didn't run the programs then as I was waiting on arrival of new MacBook Pro. I migrated the programs from my old MacBook to the new, and today tried to run those programs for the first time. InDesign work OK (after an initial hiccup) but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trial mode, and won't let me save files. My CS6 Design Standard shows with it's registration in my Adobe Account. All seems in order, but Illustrator and Photoshop won't run in registered mode. Can you please help?
