If Adobe provides the download link for Acrobat version you are trying to install and you have an account with Adobe, then you can try activating the software on your machine.
But, before that please let me know what Acrobat version do you want to download.

Hi - I recently purchased a new iMac. I have a registered cs5 design premium package which is an upgrade - I have no disc for cs4 but have the qualifying serial number for it. I have installed cs5 via download onto my iMac but it is not accepting the serial number. Can anybody help. Does anybody else think that Adobe will loose a lot of customers by not providing any chat or call support for cs5 users??

I have registered my serial number but cannot continue the download because it says that the number already exists. This happened when I previously entered the number bt had to exit the program. How do I resolve this?

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

The loading of audio files to iPod is designed to go one way only: computer to iPod. There are some third-party applications available which will rescue an audio library and write the files back to a PC HDD. The playlists might not copy, nor the album art work, nor videos but you might be able to recover all audio files. Some apps are open source and available for free download, for example: Senuti, Onyx. There are others which are Windows-based; do a Google search to find out.

Since that was CS4 your PC serial number will not work on the Mac platform, and because of its age you may not be able to get Adobe to provide you a "cross-platform upgrade". In any case you'll need to call Adobe customer support..

With a single user activation license, you can install Acrobat on two machines.
If you want to install the software on third machine, then you might need to deactivate it from the old one.
If the hard disk has crashed, then please contact Adobe Customer Service as they would be able to help you out for the same.
