If my iPhone has been freezing, turning off, etc. is it a software problem?
Ok, for like a month and a half my iPhone has been having a lot of issues. It suddenly turns off, and takes ages to come back to life, it freezes, the touch-screen does not work, it exits applications and music, etc. It does crazy things.
I took it to the genius bar and they gave me a brand new iPhone. Ok. So I went home and I synced it with the backed up information. It was working well when it did not have the backed up information and a couple of minutes after syncing it started doing the whole thing.
Has anyone had this problem too? Do you know if this is a software issue? I have reset the phone many times before and it did not help.

It seems, restoring from your backup copied corrupt files back to your phone. Transfer your purchases and restore the phone "as new iphone". Then start syncing the apps back, it might as well be an app causing this behavior.

First, copy your iPhoto Library to an external so that you have a backup.
Second, see if you can create a new Library and have it open. To do this, open iPhoto while holding down the Option key. It will ask which Library to use, or allow you to create a new Library. Save the new library with a different name from the old one.
If that does open with a new library, the old library is corrupt, but all the files are still OK.
If it is a corrupt Library, iPhoto Library Manager can repair some corruption, or transfer the Library over to a new one. -

Thanks for the input! i also found out that once i was able to turn it on and plug it in to my computer i decided to restore it and see if that maybe would work and so far so good, plus i now have all my album artwork back on my iphone which had vanished when i updated to the IOS 6 and never came back.

Ipod keeps playing after it has been paused, turned off and locked
I have this problem with my 30 gb ipod: I play a song and pause the ipod, i turn it off and then lock it. go to sleep. The next day i looked at the ipod and it is playing songs. This depletes the battery because it has been playing all night. It happens also after I finish playing a song completely (it is not paused). I turn it off and lock it. The next day it shows playing songs.
Please help. is there a setting I have to change? Is this a bug? What should I do?

AlbertYou probably have an alarm set which turns on the ipod and starts it playing.
Go to main menu of iPod, EXTRAS -> Clock -> go into any of the clocks shown -> Alarm Clock and then see if it is ON.

every once in a while my iphone will freeze up!! but its been about an hour and i tried everything i know to do to get it to unfreeze!! tried plugging it in to charge! i tried pushing the home button, the volume, the lock, hollding that down to turn it off!! its not working!!! ive had people call my phone, it doesnt ring, stays on the webpage, i was on! what can it do?
Try a Reset by pressing and holding the Home key and Sleep/Wake key simultaneously until the white Apple logo appears and then release forcing a restart. This can take up to 10 seconds or so.

My iPhone 3GS is constantly turning off without warning. Help?
My iPhone 3GS has been constantly turning off and turning back on without warning, but my battery life is at 90%! It has been doing this for a few days, and it doesn't even stay on long enough for me to type in my password. I have tried charging it, holding in the sleep/home button, and turning it off. Nothing seems to work. Help?
Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore.
Although the issue described could be a battery or system board issue. -
My iphone has been stolen. I unfortunatley did not have 'Find my iPhone' (I do now!), location services were turned off and Orange has blocked the sim & phone. Is there anythinig else I can do to track down my iPhone or atleast ruin the device for the culprits who stole it?

A "black list" is the term used for a carrier preventing a cell phone that is reported lost or stolen by the owner from being activated with the carrier. Yes it is a legiitimate thing that some carriers provide but not all. Contact Orange and inquire if they do. -
the iphone has been acting weird. my iphone doesnt charge whenever it is switched On. When I switch OFF the phone, it charges for 2 mins then comes back On and stops charging. I dont know what the problem is. trust me, the problem isnt from d charger. PLS anyone with any solution

If your device has been jailbroken during the warranty, Apple will not service it.

a Couple of weeks ago I upgraded to iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5c. However, recently it has been switching itself off at around 20-40% for no apparent reason and then goes to the plug iPhone in screen.
please can someone help and let me know if they have had the same problem and how they resolved it

How do I turn off "MobileMe has been discontinued" warning off. I did not keep photo under gallery so there is no need to migrate. The warning keep on showing up after initial round.
In the iPhoto preferences delete all references to MM and do likewise in the system preferences

My ipad has been disabled and off for almost a year already i want to restart my ipad but doesnt want to charge is there any way i can make my ipad turn on or restart i alreaady tried charging it for acouple hours and clicking the middle and top button at the same time but it still doesnt work.... is there any other way to restart my ipad?
You don't just click the home and sleep button, you have to hold them down for at least 10 seconds while it is connected to the charger. If it comes awake (and it could take several tries) ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo and then let go of the buttons.
But that may not work. Polymer Ion batteries need exercise, a full power cycle is recommended once a month. Your battery may be dead. -
My iPhone 4s has been on and off telling me SIM failure" when I text someone. It has also ended my calls when I try to make them. The other thing it is doing is saying "No Service" at the top left corner where it is supposed to say Verizon. I can't figure out how to fix it. please help!

one of my iPhone contacts messages go out as green, not blue, she has tried to turn off and then back on her messages, and it works fine for everyone but me. Mine go as green o her. My phone is iPhone 5, hers is the latest iPhone.
