If the iPhone is still under warranty, you make make an appointment at the Genius Bar for them to evaluate the phone. If the phone is out of warranty, you can decide if you want to purchase an out of warranty replacement, $149 +tax for the iPhone 4 in the US, or you can Google for 3rd party repair.
Apple does not repair phones on site, if something is wrong, they replace, either warranty or out of warranty.

If it's physically broken or has damage to it, then it's a paid repair cost.
If it's just not working and has no damage (physical or liquid), they should be able to take care of you unless you are out of warranty.

I just bought an iphone4 and is connected to my wifi at home but I can't bring anything up in the app store, itunes, etc. My husband has a droid 2 and he has no problems with the wifi? Any ideas?
If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol. If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it. Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this. -

I have a iPad 2 , not jail broken, just 2 months old fresh from the apple store. Recently I have been directed to **** sites or a fake bad oink **** application, through various applications. From google chrome app, the photon app and safari.
I always delete cookies and cache on exit. I use photon and puffin to watch flash player videos on tv series site with links such as put locker. I heard that there is no virus for the iPad but Trojans do exist.
Pleae help, at first this was just happening with photon app now in 3 different apps, and it is directing me always to the same **** site. I don't watch **** so it's. it from cookies or whatever and my iPad has been randomly turning off and also the videos are working really badly now. Also there is a message red alert staying untrusted site and hacker may be intercepting your device. What is going on? Please help
Is their a new redirecting Trojan or virus for iPad 2. ? If yes how can I remove it and will it cause permanent damage to my device? How could I have got this virus and in 3 apps. Despite the dramatic title of the article, the only mention of iOS in the body was this:

Again, even Kaspersky doesn't say such things exist now, merely that they might.
Speculation about what might happen in the future or articles focusing on the Mac OS or Android are not terribly relevant. So, if you do have any other citiations, preferably from a source that doesn't derive most of is revenue from the companies it reviews, that document a virus or trojan that affects an unjailbroken iOS device, I would be interested. I have not been able to find any. I thought, perhaps, as a professional, you might know of some.

Any apps you've had installed on your iPad can be downloaded again.
Go to App Store on your iPad and select 'Updates' and then tap on Purchased. You can then view all purchases made on the iPad or purchases made on other devices by selecting the 'Not on this iPad' tab.

The only place that you can get an Apple battery is from Apple. All of the counterfeiter's will claim that they have an OEM battery for the simple reason so that they can fool you in purchasing from them.
At least from OWC you know exactly what you will be purchasing and they have a one year warranty. I have purchased two from them, one for my 2006 MBP and one for my 2010 MBP.

I have an ATT corporate account. Can I get a phone at the Apple store?
I have an ATT corporate account. My contract is set up so my account is fully serviceable at Retail stores. I went to ATT store on launch day, waited 45 minutes, got to the counter and low and behold the salesperson says they cannot access anything on my account.The screen is grayed out. So I leave disappointed. I call ATT Business Dept and they say that there is no restriction and I should have been able to buy a phone. I went back to the ATT store today and the same sales person gets business dept on line, checks the computer and it shows I can buy any phone including the iphone they are now out of. He has no explanation. I should have made him call yesterday. I ordered one from my Premier website but need another one. Can I get one from my local Apple Store that has phones in stock or will they shut me out as well??
Kenal0You can not get an iPhone at Apple with a corporate account. You have to go to an ATT store to do that. Also- your data is going to cost 45 dollars instead of 30 dollars with a corporate account.
If you try to get an iPhone at an Apple store and you have a corporate account, it will kick your registration out of the Apple computers and they won't even be able to complete the sales portion of the transaction. -

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. You can transfer itunes purchases from ipod to itunes: File>Transfer Purchases

You can always go to the Apple Store and ask and sometimes people get lucky. Most of the time Apple requires that you pay the repair price listed here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
The least expensive way to repair (although it will void your warranty) is to go to ebay and search ipod touch 4th glass service and there are people who do it for as low as $60. -

The headphones have the same one-year warranty as the rest of the hardware. But it still can't hurt to ask an Apple store agent about replacements. Realistically, though, you'll probably just ahve to buy a new pair.
