Connect to iTunes and put iPhone in Recovery Mode to Restore. Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, hold both home and power butttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore button of iTunes.

Start the latest version of atones on your computer and connect your phone. iTunes should guide you through the process of getting your phone working again. I have got an iphone 3 from my friend that had been used by his ex wife. The phone says ' iphone disabled connect to itunes.
She 'cant remember her passcode'
I have put the phone into restore mode and connected to itunes, ( i downloaded the latest edition ) but it says its going to take 3 hours to download software - its still downloading and then earlier I got an error code oxE800002D. I cant find the error code so dont know what it means.
I dont know if I am wasting my time trying to get it working or if it will be possible to get the phone in working order ( with lots of help from you all :-) )
