If my iPhone was stolen and i didn't have FindMyiPhone app or MobileMe can I issue an insurance claim
If my iPhone3GS was stolen and i do not have a FindMyiPhone or MoblieMe app can i still issue a insurance claim
A warranty and insurance are two different things.
The iPhone one year limited warranty doesn't cover theft.
Apple - Legal
Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product
AT&T is your carrier, not an insurance company.
If you have home owner's or renters insurance, then the theft may be covered under that.

My ipod touch was stolen and i did not have an app on it to find it what can i do to find it?
i really need to find and i need to know what to do i dont have the money to buy a new one
Look very very hard or learn to live without it. Treat this as a lesson in life --- next time, be more careful.
Change your iTunes password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them. -

My iphone was stolen and we actually recovered it using the find my iphone app! Is there a way I can tell what the thief might have looked at in the interim? I know about hitting the home button twice to see recently used apps, but what if they then swiped to close them? i just want to know if this <bleep> was looking through my private info. TIA
Sorry marcia,
There is no way to tell what activity went on on your device when it was out of your hands.
Sorry,

The serial number is embedded in the iTunes on the computer to which you originally sync'd the iPhone.

My iPhone was stolen and I have the IMEI and serial number. Will I still be able to find it?
Thanks. Yes. But somehow it's already turned off by the thief. I am just hoping he goes to an area with free wifi to transmit the lost phone mode. I'm giving it a few weeks and i hope that the new iOS 7 function will work. That they won't be able to reset my phone without my apple id & password. I just wish I downloaded the app iHound before.
Oh and I called up our national telecommunications commission and they'll be able to disable my phone's function through my IMEI. -
My iphone was stolen and i need help please!!

If my iPhone was stolen and i want to reactive an old phone using that same number for the time being while i waited to see if I could get my iPhone back, would the iPhone still work while i was using a re-activated old phone of mine?
If a new SIM is activated on the same account for the same number, any existing SIMs for that number are deactivated.
Why exactly would you care if the SIM in the missing device still works or not? -
So my iPhone was stolen and most of the music on there was on a computer that I don't have anymore. Is it possible to get those songs back from my stolen phone or are they gone?
For iTunes purchased music you might be able to re-download it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. For music from other sources (e.g. copied from CDs) then unless you had subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded it to it from your computer then no, it won't be stored anywhere

My iphone was stolen and my mother gave me her 3GS, however she never updated the soft ware. It is on 3.13 and will not update to IOS 5. Help!
How about the issues with 3.1.3 on the 3GS?
3.1.3 battery problem
OS 3.1.3 battery issues
3.1.3 upgrade - shortened battery life?
Battery life cut after 3.1.3 update on iPhone 3G
3.1.3 Firmware is a battery killer - how do I back out this upgrade?
Some users have problems with any release. iOS 5 is no different, not better, not worse. -

HT4858 My iPhone was stolen and I can't find the photos...
My iPhone was stolen and I can't find the photos I took with it of a certain day from last week, only from the day before and the day after. How can I retrieve them?
If they are not on your 'My Photo Stream, you only other option is try to restore an iOS device from a backup of your lost iPhone (either via iTunes or iCloud, where ever you were backing up to). Obviously you will need ot inherit and iOS device to do this.

How do I turn on My Photo Stream?
After your devices are up-to-date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy to turn on My Photo Stream on any of your devices:
iOS devices: Go to Settings > iCloud > Photos (Photo Stream in iOS 6), then turn on My Photo Stream.
Mac: Go to System Preferences > iCloud, then select the checkbox for Photos (or Photo Stream). Click the Options button and verify that the My Photo Stream checkbox is selected. Open the application you want to use with Photo Stream (iPhoto or Aperture) and confirm that My Photo Stream is turned on in that application. You can also adjust your My Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.
PC: Open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photos (Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.x). You can click the Options button to verify that My Photo Stream is enabled and adjust the settings. Be sure to click Apply when done.

Restore from an iCloud backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your iOS device to resolve an issue, follow these steps.
Follow the initial steps in the iOS Setup Assistant (select your language, and so on).
Select Restore from iCloud Backup when the assistant asks you to set up your iPhone (or other iOS device).
Select the backup you created earlier.
You can restore a backup only by using the iOS Setup Assistant.
If you've already set up your device, you can erase all current content to go through the iOS Setup Assistant again. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Do this only if you already have a backup, because this step will remove all current content from your device.
Restore from an iTunes backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your device to resolve an issue, follow these steps:
Connect your iOS device to the computer that has your backup.
Make sure this computer has the latest version of iTunes.
Choose File > Devices > Restore from Back up.
If you're using iTunes 10.7 or earlier, right-click the device from the list and choose Restore from Backup.
