If one needs to replace the glass and the back plate on a ipad 2 whats the average price?
I dropped my ipad on the corner and the back plate got dented so much that it broke the glass, now i need to replace both, can some one tell me how much it would be to fix

I do not understand why the glass and digitizer have to be replaced together. My Ipad works fine with cracked glass, so the digitizer must be perfectly fine. Why can't I just replace the glass ? Please explain to me the mechanical function of the digitizer and glass connection ?
Apple doesn't repair your iPad in any case. They'll replace it, either under warranty if the problem is a defect or for a fixed fee if the unit has been damaged. So the whys and wherefores are really irrelevant.
If you're working with a third-party repair service, get them to explain their charges and the repair they propose. Most likely the glass and digitizer are bound together and cannot be replaced separately, but I don't know for sure.

MacBook Pro is a notebook. It is not a laptop
You can get replacement System Discs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and serial number of your Mac available.

Dust Between the Glass and LCD Surface.
I have a pocket of dust between the glass and LCD surface. I don't even notice that it is there until the screen behind the patch gets darker. Then my ADD kicks in and I focus on it intently.
Can it be cleaned by anyone and not cost me $$$$$ or void any warantees?I recently had the same problem. I made an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple store. The Genius was able to replace my screen with a new one; It took about 10 minutes.

Recently I logout from App Store and immediately I logged into the App Store .After that I clicked the FaceTime and it is asking for signin.so I entered the credentials and clicked on signin .at that moment I got one pop up like rupees 5/- deducted from your carrier account
from that moment onwards its keep on deducting the amount from mobile money account.its nothing but when I am enable the feature like FaceTime and imessage you are keep on deducting the amount from the carrier account
actually I can use the FaceTime and iMessage through internet right
then how can you deduct the amount from carrier even if the Internet is on in my mobile
can you please resolve this issue asap

the screen of my ipod cracked so will i be able to get a new one but i left my ipod in the locker and my mom is planning to go tomorrow without the ipod to the apple store but we still got the case of the ipod from the first day we cant find the receit though
1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker) -
Is it normal for there to be a gap between the glass and bezel on iPhone 5?
As you can see, there's a really small gap between the glass and the rim (frame) whatever you want to call it. I can fit a piece of paper there, as u can see.
It also collects dust. It's annoying.

why, when the problems are linked to an ipad, do I need to download a document and fill it in? My ipad doesn't do that! What if my ipad is my computer?

This is to report the problem i encountered when i updated my Ipad mini to the new IOS 8.1..
After the update my Ipad restart and after that it appears a picture that need to connect to itunes and need to restore. So i connect it to itunes and wait to restore my ipad mini because it is not opening.
After restoring it my ipad is now opening and it is like new that i need to set up again.
I set up again until i reach the apple id and password.
I put my below apple ID and password to unlock my ipad but it didn't work. The message i receive is "the apple ID cannot be used to unlock this Ipad.
What will I do? Please help.

Messaging does not let me move from one conversation to another without going to the contact info of the person and choosing "send a message", then I can continue the conversation. I'm sure it's a setting I have made by mistake, but can't figure it out

Since I tend to message with teh same people I leave the messages available to me. If you are in one conversation with "Karen" and want to message with "Kathy" tap the message back arrow and select Kathy.
As always just be careful to rememeber who you are messaging to! -
IPhone 6 when held in landscape will not open text messages in landscape. Phone needs to be held upright and then back to landscape. The phone sits in landscape mode on a dock.

bottom left speaker isnt working...
i tested it out and im not sure if its suppose to be like this or not.
