Our customer using oracle secure backup and EM-GRID for exadata backup.
Any backup schedule on EM-Grid didn't operate after they changed oracle operating system password.
What I have to / How to change configuation on osb software and em-grid side?

I just did this and have since been able to update apps etc on my iPhone and iPad.

1 hour with customer service just now wasted 1 hour for a cancer cure as this is a 1984 Era why do this to me.... now I have no mobil email as after a hour he your employee gave up...

Why do my app store settings change because i have just changed my country of residence?

I have recently relocated to India and just figured out that my settings do not change to indian settings which are on the app store ...
According to the web it says i have to change/ create a new account in order to avail of the indian app store ...why can't i use my existing account for necessary apps here itself??

You need a bank card with a billing address in a particular country to use the MAS for that country. If that is no longer the case regarding your previous home country, then yes, you will need to establish a bank card with a local billing address in India.
The MAS app opens the MAS based on your IP. But if you maintain the bank card and billing address in the other country, then you can change the MAS to that country by the method offered in the other comment.

VIs that are never called or changed but always have "unsaved" changes

I have a large project. Whenever I close it, I always get a pop-up telling me that the same 7 sub-VIs have unsaved changes. I have not edited or changed these VIs in over a year. They are called by sections of the program that are conditionally disabled at the moment! I get this pop-up warning even when the last thing I did before closing the project was save every VI that is open.
The only clue I have to offer is that these 7 VIs are the only ones in the project that directly talk (via ethernet) to a motion controller. Is internet activity on my computer while I am working on the project causing these VIs to think that they have been modified??

Well, did you ever try to save those at the dialog? Maybe they are still in an older version?
If you open one of these VIs and look at the "lilst unsaved changes" of the VI properties, what does it say?

Since it is affecting all your devices also, try going to the e-mail web site and seeing if you can log in there. Who is the e-mail provider?
Try deleting the pass word from Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.
If that doesn't work, try deleting and adding back the e-mail account.

As a sw tester, I need to log into a website with multiple accounts, but Firefox auto logins using the previous account info. What seeting should be changed?

Other than my misspelling, the sentence sums it up pretty well. Some other details are that the website isn't in the save passwords. I've seen this with IE8 as well, thus wondering if it's just a setting that's being missed. Already tried clearing the cookies.

IMovie11, I cannot alter the border in PIP. What setting have I changed that doesn't permit me to define the border size or type?

I am using iMovie11 & when I use the Picture in a Picture feature, I cannot find the way to alter the border width or selection. It does not show in the Inspector window. When I first started to use iMovie, this feature showed in inspector, so where do I find how to reinstate this feature?

Oracle account and microsoft active directory password synchronisation

We are migrating our application to use windows active directory authentication. We have separate oracle account for
each logged in user in the application, and these oracle credentials have to be the same as the windows active directory
credentials.
Also, a password change on windows Active directory should change the oracle account password.
Is there a tool available to manage and synchronize the microsoft active directory and oracle account.
We use oracle 10g and application is hosted on Windows 2008 server.

I cannot log into the oracle account using GNOME interface

I'm receiving the following message when trying to log into the oracle OS account with the GNOME interface turned on:
GDM could not write to your authorization file. This could mean that you are out of disk space or that your home directory could not be opened for writing. In any case, it is not possible to log in. Please contact your system administrator.
I can successfully ssh into the oracle account via a terminal window session.
df -h on the host does not show a problem with disk space:

Some searching on the internet indicated that the .Xauthority file was the problem.
I noticed that there was no .Xauthority file in the /home/oracle directory. I logged into the oracle OS account via a terminal session and issued the command mkxauth -c. This created an .Xauthority file in my /home/oracle directory. The file has the following permissions which look like they match other hosts we have the Oracle Database running on:
-rw------- 1 oracle oinstall 265 2011-03-08 13:32 /home/oracle/.Xauthority

Thanks for the replies. I obviously had something screwed up in my environment in terms of file permissions.
I decided that since I am new to Oracle VM and management of the Oracle Enterprise Linux VM templates, and that this was a new instance of the OEL5 template installation, I would start over. So I unzipped the OEL5 template, copied over my vm.cfg file which configures the template instance and brought up a new copy of the OEL5 VM instance. I then logged into it as root, changed the oracle account password and started the GNOME interface with telinit 5 command.
I was then able to log in successfully to the oracle account via the GNOME interface.

What account password? Are you saying you change the password to your Hotmail email account?
If so did you make the changes on your iphone in message settings?

FileVault asking for old account password when upgraded to Mountain Lion

This is not good.
I recently updgraded to Mountain Lion.
After the upgrade process, my account log in no longer was accepted by FileVault. (FileVault Legacy)
The system is stating that:
" Your user accont password is different fomr your FileVault Password
This can occur if your user account password was changed recently. To update your FileVault password and continue loggin gin, enter your old user account password"
Yet, the last time I changed my password was perhaps over 1 year ago, certainly not recently, and defenitely after many OS upgrades?
How can this happen??
Now I can not access any files (Am I expected to remember a password from 1year+ ago?) ... Major Fail.
Anyone having the same issue or a tip to get out of this crazy loop?

Repair your permissions, go to applications then utilities, then disk utility. On the left hand side click on mac HD, then click repair disk permissions. Restart your computer and test again once permissions repair is complete.
