I have a project.
DVD
Short film. Some behind the scenes footage. A couple of slideshows and a few deleted scenes. Pretty simple.
5 menus in total
The simple fact of the matter is I've been working on this project for over six months, I've missed two dealines because of this. Nothing I am able to do seems to get the project right. First build it crashed on rendering. Seconnd build (and when I say build I mean I made the thing over completely.) There were strange artifacts between menus. Third build we're back to the program crashing constantly. And so on and so on..
There are WAY too many details to give out that you'll have questions about. But I have troubleshooted this thing to death. I read the forums constantly, here and several other places like Creative Cow. (and I don't post very often because I generally find that doing a good search will help you find the problem, so I never feel the need to post.)
I've just had it with this program. The last project I did I build it in DVD Studio Pro. But for this recent project (not being a fan of Final Cut X) I decided I was going to move completely to Adobe products. Plus I was hoping to create Blu-rays as well. I had no problems with building in Studio Pro and nothing but headaches and late nights with Encore. I love After Effects and the other creative suites (I'm still getting the hang of Premiere) but this program has been unbearable.
This is a little more customer support oriented but I could not find a means to just send them an email about this (you have no idea how many crash reports I've filled out.)
A DVD with tiny little glitches is not a product I can give my clients, I need something of very high quality to give them. And I need a reliable tool to get it done. This tool won't be it in the future.

I'd pick one part that is a problem and ask about it here. Post a screenshot of your flowchart.
Based on what you describe, this is not a simple project, simply meaning it is not easy to troubleshoot.

My firefox icons like FIRE BUG, REMINDERFOX in my task bar (lower right corner) are not a 100% visible, I think they are underneath the task bar of my computer. I barely see them but i can't click on them. Please if someone can help it will be great.

Excuse my technical language. When everything was normal, I had icons on my computer task bar (bottom of my screen) from my programs and from Firefox, but now the icons from Firefox Add-ons like the Firebug, ReminderFox and AniWeather are barely visibles, I can still see them behind this task bar but I can't click on them. Now that you mention it, I'm having the exact same problem on Facebook as well, when I play Family Feud.
I wish someone would investigate and post a solution to this problem. No-one from Playlist has responded, and no-one "Officially" from Firefox either.

Try this for making an external USB/DVD copy of Recovery on an external disk. internet is still required for reinstall, though, I believe: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4848. But at least you have a separate Recovery Partition if you ever need a fully new and empty internal disk.
Your assumption is incorrect. Although he may not be able to download it from the App store he can download it directly for the Apple servers using the recovery partition on his original drive.
All you have to do is start the install routine and then point the install to an external hard drive. Once the download is finished the computer will reboot to start the install. At that reboot disconnect the external drive so the install can not start. Boot the computer back into the OS on the internal hard drive, which is what will happen automatically once the external drive is disconnected. Then connect the external and copy the files from it that were downloaded. Right click on that downloaded package file and select Show contents. In the contents of that package is a file called InstallESD.DMG. Copy that file out of the package and burn it down to a DVD or USB thumb drive and you now have the Full Lion Installer. I have several of them laying around on different hard drives and 2 USB thumb drives which I have used to reinstall Lion on my 15" MBP.

I have some problems with this dynamic form (created in livecycle) http://www.pathology.ubc.ca/Academic_Activity_Data_Form_Jan_4_2013.pdf . It doesn't save data unless I add a' new row' to any of these tables.   There are a few text fileds and if I type anything in there data won't be saved unless I trigger it by adding randomly a table row. This is big problem as this form will be used for updates and if I want to change any of my entered records I will always have to remember to 'add a new row' otherwise just adding/changing text won't be saved. This might sound confusing but you will understanding what is going on if you type in your name and save the form and then type in your name, add a table row and save the form (first case won't be saved second will).
I would greatly appreciate any help.

Apple does not track nor block iPads. If it was equipped to access
cellular, report it to your cellular provider. Report the loss to your
local police. If covered by your insurance, report to your insurance
company.
Immediately change all of your passwords.
If you had previously set it up, you may be able to track it via

I'd keep trying the other way. You may have hit it when BC was doing an update or something. If it works one way it should work the other way. But sometimes BC can be kind of temperamental and you have to do a little dance or something to get it to work. But it generally comes around and fixes itself in short time.

You can import the contacts from SIM.

I had heard that these switches didn't stack unless everything was identical.
I only tried it at all out of pure desperation.
I've applied and tested every version 3 firmware in standalone mode via a console cable and xmodem.
They either never come up properly receiving decompression errors and reboot constantly in a loop.
Occasionally they stall / jam and stay there displaying the same error with no rebooting.
And twice out of 80-100 times I got it to boot to the username and password screen in standalone mode.
But as soon as I made a change it crashed and started the rebooting cycle again.

What security products are suggested for scrubbing rootkits from a Mac? There are good articles on similar repair for PCs and it makes me want to see if I can save this machine. It's in forensic recovery right now so I myself have not done anything yet.

A straightforward question. You are correct in recognizing the difference between tentative conclusion and certainty. Here are our main reasons:
1. Incoming items noted on the console (or console sub logs) and Activity Monitor after defenses are overcome, and which are brought in by an unwelcome remote user, often have a process name and the word "kit." (Bear with me.) We soon observe the process is under attack, from terminal evidence and soon, decreased or lost functionality of the process. The terminal generally reports alteration of specific kernel behaviors. A simple example (that may or may not be accompanied by kernel changes and may simply alter permissions) is modifying Disk Utility such that key uses are unavailable. You can see how an attacker might value disabling partition views, mounting and permission repair. In retrospect, DU might not be a root alteration. I was thinking that its relation to fsck flagged it as a possible ring 0 item. I may need to know core parameters of a good example to pick strong ones.
2. Incoming folders hidden for possible later use contained bundles of similar root kits, including some not applicable to Macs. From what I have read from reasonably credible sources, root kits are sold and traded both singly and in bundles.
3. Root kits are a logical next choice for our attackers, as various prior techniques hindered us but did not paralyze us.
4. One of the most authoritative articles I found was about PCs not Macs. I noted the assertion, undocumented, that an estimated one million computers are infected by root kit manipulations, and underscored that the kits can be used by people with low computer skills.
5. MacAfee lists root kits (by description, not name) as a top pop five threat prediction in the coming year, though again, the emphasis is on PCs.
Linc, I am trying to show a spectrum of observations and info that have shaped my thinking. To retrieve better captured evidence requires significant legwork at this time, but it is something I am willing to do if you can be patient. Understand this long attack has been like a natural disaster to us.
