if i recieve a video call from someone else, does that mean that when i am watching and looking at them they can see me too ? or is the video call just from them ? ive posted 2 other messages about video caling on a nokia 6500 - sorry its all new to me.
It depends on your phone's settings.
Normally they will see the image picked up by your front camera (and shown as a thumbnail on your screen) but you can also go into your settings and have your video feed shut off or replaced with the picture of your choice.
How to do this will be explained in your manual - I don't remember off-hand how to do this on a Series 40 phone such as the 6500s or 6500c.

There are normally a couple of reasons you would hear that particular message.
1.If the announcement is received when calling one specific number the issue is with that device's service provider. They would need to contact their provider and do an investigation.
2. If the announcement is received when ANY number is called the issue is with the Verizon Wireless network. At that time, we we need to open a remedy ticket (which reports it to our engineers to investigate further).

Do you have anything connected to the dock connector of the iPod like a dock or cable?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

If I have video in imovie and final cut pro X, does that mean there are two copies of the video, one for each piece of SW? If so, how do I get rid of the imovie events and keep only the Final Cut Pro X events (video)? I don't want multiple copies of the same video stored on the hard drive.
If you import to FCP directly from the Camera or from a camera archive, you would likely import choosing Optimized Files which would go to a FCP event that is in ProRes 422 codec. This would be in addition to your iMovie Event which would import using the Apple Intermediate Codec. So you would have two copies of the same information. An AIC copy and a larger ProRes copy.
However, if you use FILE/IMPORT/iMOVIE EVENT LIBRARY, FCP will not duplicate the event files from iMovie. It will treat them as referenced files, and will point to the iMovie Event files in the reference. So there is no duplication. You will be editing Apple Intermediate Codec files in FCP.
However, FCP will create Event folders. In addition to the reference information, these will contain thumbnail files that are compatible with FCP, stabilization and analysis files that are compatible with FCP, as well as any intermediate render files that are associated with the Event.
So in this case, there is no duplication of the large event files, but there is some duplication of the small thumbnail files.
I have several terabytes of iMovie Events, which are now all available in FCP. Believe me, I would know if they were duplicated because all my disks would be full. -

I believe someone stole my iPod touch at school. I don't have find my iphone installed on my ipod, only on my iPad. If my ipod still shows on my devices, does that mean it hasn't been erased?

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police and school
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

After phone support from apple I ended up creating a new project and adding all 117 clips back in individually till I found out what clips flagged and would not allow me to export. I had 3 I deleted and replaced and everything works now 1hr after tedious work....
