Need Pivot Table to hide only the rows in the table, now the entire sheet.
Hello,
I have an basic pivot table (account type, account number, location, fees assessed) and wish to have a small summary table a couple of columns to the right of the data in the pivot table.
Is there a way to be able to have the pivot table only hide the part of the rows that are actually in the table (like A4:D4) and essentially 'lock' my summary table, so parts of it aren't hidden when filtering in the pivot table?Hello,

Reg : show/hide subforms under buttons in Static page(Java Script)
Hi All ,
I am creating Adobe Interactive form(static page). In this page have 3 buttons.For each button one subform is there. I want to show/hide subforms under buttons.
I am using javascript. Please give me the code for this.
Thanks
RishaHi Risha,
can you explain your question like do u have some condtions to show or hide the subform? OR if u click
button you want to show the subform and by default subform should be hidden something like this?
Normally for showing the subfrom on click of the button: (By default make your subform invisible from its properties).
Select the button and in the click event select java script option and write the following code:
Subform.presence = "visible";
(*you have to give full path of the subform instead of only subform name).

Adobe Form want to hide Subform
Hi All,
I am using a subform as a table item in my adobe form.
I have two levels of item level data.
I want to hide the whole subform containing the second level of data based on the value of afield.
Scenario is for a particulare item level data i have some sub items.
The subitems is nothing but material details corresponding to a operation(a work order can have multiple operations,work order is header).
So I want to stop/hide the whole subform of material details if Material is initial.
To be more clear i want check the value of a particular field and if its intial i should not display the subform.
Please help me with what to write in the script editor of the adobe form.
Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Kishore.Thank you very much for the help.
However this is not working,I think I have not explained you myproblem clearly.
I have 'Table Item' subform below this I have one more sub form 'Material' Subform.
Table Item Sub form displays the Operation Detaild of a Work Order,and Material subform displays the Components of a Operations.
So I want stop the presence of Material Subform when varaible Material is absent.
Please let me know if its still not clear. -
How to hide subform with index
Hi all,
i have 3 subform named as :
1. Receipt_subform[0]
2. Receipt_subform[1]
3. Receipt_subform[2]
I am currently only showing Receipt_subform[0] and hide Receipt_subform[1] and Receipt_subform[2].
I will only will display the Receipt_subform[1] and Receipt_subform[2] open user click add new table function.
how can i show the Receipt_subform[1] and Receipt_subform[2] from javacript.Hi Jeeva,
You can do this but would need to resolve the nodes. This is because all three subforms have the same name "Receipt_subform". The [1] is a tag showing the instance, on a zero based numbering system.
If we assume that the three subforms and the button are in the same subform then the following should work (if they are not, then you would need to include the full reference):
xfa.resolveNode("Receipt_subform[" + 1 + "]").presence = "visible";
xfa.resolveNode("Receipt_subform[" + 2 + "]").presence = "visible";
You could do a loop, but it hardly seems worth it for just two objects.
I would recommend having a different name for each subform, as this will make it much easier to reference each one.
Hope that helps,
Niall -
[BUG?] af:table table empty after descending sort and remove
Hi,
I think i found a bug.
I have an af:table binded to an arraylist in a backingbean. This List consist of an object that represents two strings (value 1 and 2).
Now when the table is loaded and I sort descending on one of the columns. After sorting i'll try to remove a row. The correct row is published to the bean with an af:setPropertyListener and removed from the arraylist. But when the table is rendered again there are no values in the table. But the arraylist still has all remaining values which will be shown after a sort again.
Fun fact: it only happens when sorting descending.
Anyone got an idea?

audit-core oracle.ide.audit.core 11Hi Harry (and others),
I have seen similar behavior. It seems like the client side rendering for some reason has a hard time processing the collection model wrapping the ArrayList in this particular case. The table renders empty. After sorting in ascending order, the rows are all back (visible) again.
Is anyone aware of issues with the rich table based directly on ArrayList (in combination with a changing set of values and/or sorting)? (seems like a corner case but is still not uncommon). Is there any indication that wrapping the ArrayList in a CollectionModel ourselves might be required?
Harry: do you know whether this issue is introduced with PS3 (11.1.1.4) or already existed in previous releases?
kind regards,

Dynamic Drop-Down list in a table row or subform
Hi,
I need to display multiple drop-down list elements dynamically. Each of these DDLs will have different values.
For example:
The table will have 2 columns (Student Name text field and Courses drop-down)
Row 1: Student 1 & Courses of Student1 in DDL
Row 2: Student 2 & Courses of Student2 in DDL
When I execute my app, both the drop-downs (i.e. for both the students) are displaying all the courses of all the students. I tried a lot with binding options..
$record.Students[].Courses[]
is refering to all elements of the node. If I use the index 0 for Students node, I am getting 1st element rows.. if I use 1, I am getting 2nd element rows,,,
But How can I set the binding so that Row 1 has only Student 1 courses and Row 2 has Student 2 courses?
IS THERE A WAY TO DYNAMICALLY SET THE BINDING USING JAVASCRIPT?
I tried with tables, subforms.. it is not working. It is working fine in plain web dynpro table but not in an interactive form. I am using NW 2004s SP11, Web Dynpro Java. LiveCycle Designer 7.1, Adobe Reader 7.09.
There are some other posts talking about similar issue.. I tried the solutions mentioned there as well, but nothing worked.
I would really appreciate if any one can provide a solution or pointer to my problem.
Thanks
RamHey. Uh, this probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but it sounds like you've got a problem with your database design there. Generally speaking, your tables shouldn't have multi-valued fields, in the relational model anyway (sql). Instead, you should look at adding a separate table like EMPLOYEE_HOBBIES. Then you have a foreign key using the employees primary key as the foreign key in the employee_hobbies table, see what I mean? I might have misunderstood your explanation though, I'm not sure.
Alternatively, you could just have hobbies as a big freeform varchar field, and don't bother to make people separate their hobbies into different fields (you'd have to abandon the drop-down listbox idea in this case). If there's no really important reason to make the distinction, then it's probably easier just to not do it. -
Error while trying to search in advanced table with hide/show region
Hi
I have search region and a results table with a hide.show in it.I did a search initially and got the results.I clicked on the hide/show region to see the details.
I put another search criteria in the search region and tried to do a search.
I am getting the following error
The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost...
Can anybody help me on this please....

Can't get show/hide subform to work.
Although I've done my best to show/hide a subform through a radio-button in Livecycle, I can't get it to work.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Click event of 'Nee' radio button
if(this.rawValue == 1)
xfa.form.form1.subform1.sub1.presence="hidden";
Click event of 'Ja' radio button

I recently bought the U530 with full HD touchscreen. I've noticed that the screen flickers when on battery, and it is especially noticeable in areas of the screen with dark colours. It's not a major flicker, but seems like ripples across the screen.
