If this is how Notification Center works (for Mail). Im not impressed!

I've have Notification Center (NC) working properly on my iPhone and iPad from day one and love it.
I assumed that NC would work the same way in Mountain Lion (ML)......it's not for Mail!
If Mail app is open then I get Mail notifications. REALLY? No need for NC for Mail if that's the case !!! Works in iOS without having Mail app open.
Or am I missing a setting?

I live in a condo complex and Verizon came to make a pitch. I was interested in a Fios bundle, but I needed to know the answer to this question: Do you have a way to suspend service when I go to Florida for 3 months each winter?

1 person said they didn't have it but were working on it
I called Verizon
1 person didn't know, but said he'd get back to me (he didn't)
1 person said they had it but it would cost $25. to reconnect
I looked on the web (you have to know what the service is called...I tried "vacation" "temporary disconnect" and variants, till I hit on the word seasonal.

I got on the live chat to find out the cost. The person could not tell me. He said to call billing and gave me a link to the contents page. I did that and got a person who said, at first that they did not have seasonal suspension. When I read the web page to him he changed his tune and told me that it was technically not seasonal suspension. He said it was $24.99 to disconnect the TV, and that they would be charging me $20 per month for the internet service even though I wasn't using it. (which is about $15 per month more than cable charges me). I asked him how I could be sure that what he told me was accurate since I'd already talked with 3 or 4 other individuals who'd given me different answers, he just repeated the $24.99 & $20 per month.
So to sum up:
person 1 - does not know
person 2 - not available
person 3 - available and total cost is $24.99 at reconnect
person 4 - available but cannot tell me the cost
person 5 - available and total cost is $24.99 at disconnect PLUS $20 per month.
I don't think I'll be signing up for Fios TV and Internet any time soon

Further update: I got a flyer in the mail and decided to take a chance and call Verizon again...maybe I'd get a definitive answer.
Person 6: There is a vacation service. It costs $25.95 to reconnect. There is no monthly charge for iternet service during the vacation period.

Notification will not work for Mail

Downloaded Mountain Lion; everything appeared to go well with install. When I first launched Mail, there didn't seem to be any issues (had to convert messages into new format, etc.) However, Notifications for Mail is not working. When a new message is sent, it will not appear as a banner, alert, etc in the corner. I've checked System Preferences to ensure that Notifications for Mail is on; I've also checked Mail Preferences to ensure that new messages are going to the notification center. Any thoughts? Other notifications seem to be working (I think).
Running on a 15-inch Mid-2009 MacBook Pro, 8 GB RAM, 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

UPDATE: It does appear that if you send yourself an email (even from another account) and both emails are within Mail, you will not get a notification. It will download in Mail; it will be readable, but there will be no notification from the new notification center.
All of my other Mail notifications (e.g. emails from other people or accounts) have been coming through with no issues.
Is this a bug? Or was this intended? We shall see.

When client fill information in application form on our distribution server,Do you have solution that Acrobat 10 Pro can send a notification to specific authorized
prerson for his/her Digital Signature?
example : Mr.A filled some information about Purchase Order. System require his supervisor's digital signature so, Acrobat send notification to his supervisor automatically.
I have some idea about Active Directory work together with Acrobat but, I don't know how to use both of it together.
Any advice will help me so much.

You want to modify the signature field properties and set a script to execute when the field is signed.
Here's how to get started in Acrobat X:
Open the file that will eventually be uploaded to the server
Click Tools on the top right to open the Tools panel
Expand Forms (click on Forms so you can see the buttons underneath)
Click the Edit button
Right mouse click on the first signature field and then click Properties from the pop-up menu
Select the Signed tab on the Digital Signature Properties dialog
Select the This script executes when the field is signed radio button
Click the Edit button
Add the following in the JavaScript Editor dialog:

- http/1.0=single URL per TCP connection
- http/1.1=persistent connection.
Q1. my understanding is http is stateless connection so needs TCP session for each URL. how the http/1.1 works with persistent. keep the same TCP session for a multiple URL request?
Q2. https is using single URL and continue processing until terminate the https instead of open another URL in the middle of transaction. in this case, I think the client can stick into same service based on the assumption the CSS support persistent. if then, no advanced sticky(ex, srcip) required?
Q3. looks below both are analogy. what's difference between them?
- balance srcip(same src IP to the same service)
- advanced-balance sticky-srcip
Q4. what's balance decision mechanism for "balance roundrobin" to distribute evenly? ex, in case of multiple URL request coming from same client. evenly distribute URLs?

first let me clarify 1 point.
HTTP/HTTPS are standards that are defined in RFC.
For HTTP/1.1 you can check the following RFC

Therefore, the behavior of HTTP 1.1 is not defined by the CSS.
Q1- HTTP/1.1 simply keeps 1 TCP connection to send a received mutiplie HTTP request/response.
HTTP/1.0 will open 1 TCP connection for every HTTP request.
Q2- HTTPS is just HTTP over SSL.
So basically the same rule as above applies.
HTTP/1.1 can use 1 SSL connection for many HTTP request/response while HTTP/1.0 will use 1 SSL connection for each HTTP request.
Therefore, if you have customer using HTTP/1.0 you need some form of stickyness to guarantee that every connections will go to the same server.
Even if only using HTTP/1.1 you may need stickyness.
A user could disconnect and reconnect and require to be loadbalanced to the same server as before.
Q3- There is a big different between balance srcip and sticky-srcip.
The balance srcip simply hash the source ip address to find the destination server.
The problem of this method is that the loadbalancing is not guarantee to be evenly distributed between the servers.
With sticky-srcip, you use a normal balance method like round-robin, and then you create a sticky entry in a sticky table.
Next time this user comes back we first check the sticky entry to find the destination server.
The advantage is that it guarantess your users will be evenly distributed among the server.
Q4- roundrobin is applied to connection - not url [by default].
So if you have 2 users and they both open 1 connection, the CSS will send 1 connection to 2 different servers.
So each server has 1 connection.
If one user sens 10 URL and the other 1 sends only 1, one server will have 10 url to process while the other only one.
That's if you are using HTTP/1.1 and use persistent mode on the CSS.
You can break persistency and split the url.
I run out of space and time to explain you everything.
I suggest you go read the RFC or a book on HTTP.
Also read the CSS configuration guide.
There is much more you need to know if you want to take full advantage of the CSS like cookie, ssl offloading, L7 rules vs L3/4 rules, ...

I cannot get push notifications to work for viber.

Initially when I installed the Viber app I believe I ignored the push notification screen that the app was prompting me for. In all my endeavors to uninstall and reinstall I never did see this prompting screen again. I have tried everything suggested to get push notifications to work for this app but to no avail. I have reinstalled the app and rebooted my phone and uninstalled the app and rebooted the phone with every possible combination. I successfully sent push notifications from the suggested app Ipush test. I have a iPhone 4s. With latest software 5.0.1. I'll appreciate any suggestions. My carrier is Verizon.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

WiFi will work, cellular will work but they may not be able to access LTE, they will have to send it back to you for the warranty work.

Basically:
Premiere Pro does not want to play the timeline (or the source window) anymore. Sometime it plays for 2 minutes, sometime for 2 seconde and then stops, but most of time, it wont play at all.
I can scroll over my timeline (no sound scrolling), but when I hit space bar (or clic on the play button) I can see the play button turning into a square (which mean it's now the stop button), but the timecodes doesn't run and the image doesn't play.
So I suggest people to not being stupid as I was and to wait before to update... And hope a solution to come soon.
