i cant get it to show anything on the monitor and any keyboard imputs dont seem to work

ok here the scenario
i bought the motherboard and it was sent yesterday...i was up all day and night trying to figure out what the f... the problem was.....
i did what you told me but there seems to be 2 things wrong
1.theres no pic on the monitor
2.when i hit buttons on the keyboard nothing happens(even when like you know how the numlock light blinks when you push the button well mine dont)
I ve tried several monitors and keyboards and graphics cards but nothing seems to differ........also when i try to put the jumper to the setting where i can clear cmos the computer will not turn on.....
so im really having a problem and i took apart and rebuilt the compuer many times...i dont know what to do ?(

Problems with SiS 745 Ultra with 2600+

Hey all,
I recently had my old system (1700+) die on me when the PSU fried. The mobo also fried (surprisingly, my hard drives, CD-ROMs and RAM was fine--one stick was partially melted, but it works perfectly) and my dad ordered me a new system.
It's the SiS 745 Ultra mobo with a 2600+ (not Barton). The site we ordered from, http://www.pcsourceonline.com had it in a barebones kit. We got the proc, mobo and case and I was under the impression that the proc would work at 2600+ out of the box.
It didn't. We couldn't get it any higher than 2000+. I then checked online and saw that out of the box the 745 only supported up to 2000+, but with a new BIOS it supported 2600+. So I had to find a floppy drive and disk (seriously, who uses these?) and then flash. The flash apparently worked fine, but I was only able to get my CPU to 2400+ at the max.
I changed the FSB to 133MHz, the multiplier to 12.5/13x (14x was down to 667MHz for some reason and 15x was 750MHz), and put the CPU:DRAM ratio to 4:5 and was able to max out at 2400+.
I went to Madison for the weekend and left my computer on because I was downloading some stuff that was going to take all weekend. When I came back, the computer seemed to be fine, until I played Unreal Tournament 2k3 and it told me my proc. speed was only 1150MHz. I rebooted, saw that on the boot screen it was indeed registering as 1150MHz. I went into the BIOS and saw that all the settings were the same. So I don't know what happened. I putzed around a little and was able to get it back to 2000+.
I looked in the manual and saw that the CPU:DRAM ratios were the same for 133-165MHz FSB, so I bumped it up to 165 and restarted. It was at 2400+! But then when i got to the log on screen for windows, the screen was FUBAR and I could get nowhere. I had to put the FSB back to 133, and that's where am I now, stuck at 2000+.
I don't mean to go on a rant or anything, but I'm pretty pissed at how difficult this whole process has been. When you order a computer and the site is set up with drop down menus allowing you to choose from 1800+ - 2600+ CPUs, you would think that the mobo's to choose from would be compatible out of the box. They're not, and only through potentially destroying my motherboard was I able to...get my computer to ALMOST be where it's supposed to be.
I can find nothing online that tells me anywhere how to properly set up the BIOS so that I can use the CPU to it's fullest.
I'm dual booting Windows XP Pro and Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, I have 512 (2x256)MB PC2100 DDR RAM, a 60GB ATA133 7200 RPM Maxtor hard drive, a GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB DDR video card, LiteOn 32x12x48 CD-R and a generic 48x CD-ROM

I did a little research on MSI Mobos and found the K7N2 Delta-L and K7N2 Delta-ILSR--both of which seem comparable to the Biostar one, if not a little more expensive.
The Delta-L is a mobo choice on the site that I ordered the computer from, its an additional $46 from the base price (the base price that has the MSI SiS 745 Ultra as the standard mobo for all the CPUs you're able to choose from)...so I think I'm going to try and get them to send me that one.
Any objections to the Delta-L board?

I had the same problem and I found this answer to a similar question to ours, so I copied and pasted it for you
Reset the device by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. After it resets the message will be gone and you can go to settings > icloud and put in your password.
That seems to be a bug with the password alert where it won't respond correctly sometimes.

Try rebooting the router. Just remove the power for a few seconds. No settings are lost.

Hi,
use the power-switch on the left backside of your iMac to turn your Mac off.
Use it again to restart your Mac and hold down the Alt/Option-button to get to the Boot Selection screen.
Choose OSX.
Once in OSX go to System Preferences - Startup Volume and reset it to use OSX as the default.
Am I right assuming that you try to install Windows XP on a new (2011) iMac ?
If so, XP is no longer supported by Apple for use/install With BootCamp.
But there are some success stories when using a XP with SP3.

SiS 745 Ultra - Constant Rebooting

Well, here's the scoop, and I have a guess as to the answer... but I want to post here and get opinions:
When I set my BIOS to Performance Defaults, I get my AMD XP 2200+ setting and was able to run like this just fine for the last year.
Now, I can only run stable if I use the Normal Defaults and the chip is running at 1500+... if I run at 2200+ now, the system will reboot after 1-10 minutes of activity.
What has changed:
Addition of 2 512mb 333DDR Kingston memory sticks.
Addition of 2 WD Raptor 36gb SATA drives.
Items to note: the drive bay the SATA drives are in is right in front of the upper vent of the lower front of my case. This probably causes warmer air to be entering the CPU area than prior to these changes.
According to PC Alert 4, the CPU is only ever running into about 48 degrees. It is not consisten with the temp it's shutting down at. My power supply is 350W, I think.
Any further thoughts? Can my power supply simply not handle all that's on it? XP 2200+, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, 2 Raptors, 1 80gb Maxtor HD, SB Audigy Plat, 10/100 NIC, and a CDRW? A bad RAM stick?
I THINK this started happening before I added the Raptors...
The other small oddity I noticed was that the BIOS would let me start selecting 512 for my AGP aperture when I have the 1.5gb of RAM installed... where only 256 when I only have the 512 installed. However, I cannot boot with the aperture at 512 regardless... I get bios beeps and black monitor.

My power supply is a Turbolink switching power supply - 420W max.
It was about time for my semi-annual OS reload, so I actually built a clean install of WinXP.
I also did just what you suggested with removing the side panel of the case and pointing a house fan into the box - didn't help.
I do have the system running fine at 1.8ghz right now - with only one of the two sticks of 512mb RAM. For whatever reason, it doesn't seem to like running at 1.8ghz processor with 1.5gb of RAM. 1 gig of RAM seems to make it happy, though.

Office 360 is the worst upgrade or version and I do not want to invest any more time using crappy email I am using Windows 8.1. OK ... Adobe please tell me what high technology email that works with your product. In steady of guessing you must be using something I can use. I am a Professional Engineer here in Michigan developing high tech products. I save email, but I would like to save the structure of my email folders into PDF folders, so I can scan through the emails. I would even printed all 1500 emails if required, but any way I do it using the Office 360's Outlook it errors out to a Help Lync. Blows up. I will write the program, if there is a script language to interface with your product and Microsoft yields information on their OUTLOOK program.

You need to update Acrobat 11 to the latest patch to be able to work with Office 365.
The base version 11.0 is not compatible. From 11.0.1 onwards the compatibility has been added.

Please advise good RAID card for MSI 745 Ultra

I wish to add a RAID controller,
so that I may have a backup of my data drive
(IBM 40gb 7200rpm ATA100).
I have purchased an identical drive
that I want to use as a mirror ("RAID 1", I believe
this is called.
What RAID controllers would be the most compatible, fastest, and most reliable?
The drive will be doing some hard work, writing audio data while it is being received in Cakewalk SONAR.
So the write speed must be able to keep up with "real time."

3Ware makes the best IDE RAID controllers, hands down.
Basically, a 3Ware RAID controller is comparable to a SCSI RAID controller except that its IDE. Just about every other IDE RAID controller, the ones you find soldered on a motherboard in particular, is crap. Go 3ware, or don't go RAID at all. You won't regret it.

745 Ultra - W2k stop Error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL....please help :(

I recently brought the following:
1)AMD 1800+ CPU and heat sink fan.
2)MSI 745 Ultra (MS-6561) ATX motherboard
3)256 DDR 2700 Ram
4)300w power supply
I also have (which worked fine with the previous VIA motherboard and windows 2000 Pro):
1)Sony DVD drive (set as Secondary Master)
2)IBM DeskStar 46.1Gb 7200Rpm (Set as Primary Master)
4)AGP RivaTnt 16mb Graphics Card
5)standard 3.5" floppy drive
Note: no PCI cards are connected. Bios version 1.4
The problem is this. On setting up the new hardware and plugging all the bits in the right places I start the installation of windows 2000 Pro and it gets to the stage were it starts windows up for the first time, it then gives me a blue screen Stop error saying IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I have not seen this before and so unsure what to do to correct the problem. as I don't have any PCI cards connected what could it be?
Any thoughts would be very grateful as this is starting to annoy me something chronic espeshily after my previouse problem.

There seems to be a descreponsy between the Manual for the motherboard and whats on the website. the manual tells me it is compatible with 1x/2x/4x AGP and 1.5v and 3.3v cards and yet the site tells me ONLY 4x and 1.5v.
I have ordered a new G/Card running at x4 1.5v so I'll try that tommorrow. Tonight I'll be trying to get the system running with XP and with an old 4mb PCI VGA card to see if that resolves the issue then that would conclude the motherboard manual is incorrect.

MSI 745 Ultra SiS Install Issue

I'm having HUGE issues installing this board. I've tried to read as many posts as possible to see if this has been covered, but didn't see it. here is what I have:
Motherboard: MSI 745 Ultra Socket-A SiS745 / DDR333
CPU: AMD K7 Duron 700MHz Socket-A
Powersupply: 430W P4 Ready
RAM: K-Byte 256MB-DDR 2100 PC266 184PIN DIMM
Video: 16MB 3DFX VOODOO3 3500 TV-OUT AGP
HDD: 10.2GB SAMSUNG IDE 5400RPM
Fan: ANTEC Twister Socket-A / Socket 370
skimpy, but logically possible, right? all pieces are brand new and all pieces have been tested in working machines... all except the motherboard. cpu, ram, hdd, & video all work until put on this board. I get power, but no video, can't hear the ram check, and the d-bracket sticks on all 4 red lights. if I could please get help with this it would be much appreciated. I tried starting with just the cpu, ram, and video hooked up to see if that helped... no go.

this may be a dumb question, but i can still install a PCI vid card when there's an AGP available, right? it does not have the volts listed anywhere in the specs to let me know if this is 1.5v or not.

It has nothing to do with have more than one device using that account.
After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you really got charged twice for purchases the same app twice with the same account contact iTunes again by:
Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us
Make sure that they are really the same app first.
