Nokia is dumping defective phones in India (like the Lumia 800) because
a) India has no laws b) They view Indians with contempt.
I have had a Lumia 800 for nearly 2 months. It never worked, has been sent for repairs twice, and I have been told 'no refund policy'. I spent Rs 20,000. Currently, it is lying on my bedside table, crashing and re-booting continuously until the battery drains.
Nokia has no refund policy.
Nokia's policy - SELL JUNK TO STUPID INDIANS.
For god's sake, let's show some self respect. Let's stop buying Nokia in India.

A return/refuns policy is usually a regional arrangement set by law and not by any company. It also usually is limited to a period in which it can be reasonably expected you can detect a fatal device flaw causing it to not work.
Also it would seem in your case you are delaing with a Nokia Care Point or retailer who is _NOT_ Nokia. Assuming you have actually taken the phone in for repair twice in less then two months you will have proof of this. You contact Nokia Care by phone, mail or chat. Ask to speak to Nokia Care Management to have this looked into.
Always make sure you save reference numbers or have documentation on this. Also read the terms & conditions or ask Nokia Care to provide you wit the relevant information.
Coming in here, a user to user platform with no direct link to Nokia Care, will not get your issue resolved at all and blindly going about spamming your anger all over the forum does not make you any friends here either.

You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

A small amount of coffee spilled on my phone this morning. I dried it immediately, but my phone has started giving me the following error: "This accessory is not optimized for this I-Phone - You may experience noise caused by celullar interference and a decrease in cellular strength." Since then I have not been able to manually adjust my ringer volume & I can't use I-Tunes w/o my ear buds. Why is this happening & what can I do to fix this?

Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

My i pod touch is not turnning on at all whether it is connected to my computer that is turned on and running of a while. I tried all the troubleshooting tips that was provided by apple. I create my apple id from my boyfriend macbook and its says that I have to review my itunes information , when I get to the credit card number info etc. Its keep asking me for that I dont have any credit card and I dont want to put any , what should I do?
You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

My MacBook Pro doesn't start; in safe mode <shift CMD V> the message "disk0s2: media is not present" is written on the screen repeatedly but the MacBook doesn't start. Do you have any ideas of why this should be or what I should do to resolve this? Thanks Eamonn
Thanks for these suggestions: I have tried safe mode re-starts (both "verbose" and simple "shift" + power) to no avail. I get the error message "disk0s2: media is not present". Following this I inserted the installation disc and from there ran disc utility. The "Verify Disk" indicated an error " invalid sibling link" which it could not repair.
I also tried to completely re-format/erase the disk, but again got an error message "disk object invalid or unable to serialize".
Any ideas of what could be causing this or the best solution? I fear I am fast running out of options. -

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have no service on the iPhone. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There is one step you did not mention trying that i think is worth trying.
If you see No Service in the status bar of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Remove the SIM card. If the SIM card is damaged, worn, or bent, or if it's too big or small for the SIM tray, contact your carrier for a new one. Then reinsert the SIM card.

For some unknown reason, I have been having issues when sending and recieving e-mails from my Yahoo account in mail on my iPad, but can use mail just fine on my iPhone. Why is this, and how do I fix it?
I accidentally dropped my iPad 2 on Monday, it hit my foot, and the screen cracked. I recieved this iPad some time in August 2011, and no longer have any sort of warrany on it. Should I take it in to Apple and get a replacement, or have a third party fix it? And if so, how much would it cost, and where should I go?I am glad we were able to get your email working again. I simply have suggestions: I think u should be able to store whatever u have on any devices to iCloud. For example: it shouldnt matter where I have my songs from, we long as they are on my devices I should be able to save them on iCloud. In this case, I think iCloud is more like a ripoff if you cannot store your own songs to it.
