I Have An Ipod Touch 4G That Is 8GB(Gigabytes) And U Was Jus Wandering About These Two Questions 4 So Long Do I Posted A Question

You can buy whatever ipod you want.
Damage is not covered by warranty so they will not replace it under warranty.
All of your music/apps should be in itunes on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer.
Just sync it to the new ipod.

  • When I connect my ipod touch to itunes, itunes automatically downloads all of my old apps onto my ipod. how do I stop it?

when i connect my ipod to itunes it starts a sync and then a backup. then at step 5 of 5 of the backup itunes starts to download all of my old apps to my ipod and then i have to cancel the sync and then on my ipod all of my old apps are grayed out and i cant even delete them. this happens every time i plug my ipod in. how do i turn this automatic download setting off?

Was any error message given? They usually are.
    Try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • How do I delete duplicate songs in my iTunes? I have hundreds and I don't want to delete them one by one. They were all added on the same date, so sorting by the date won't help.

Hi, if this is in regards to your library simply open up itunes and do the following steps:
    Click File
    Scroll down to "show duplicates"
A list will then appear of your duplicate song titles.
Be sure to CAREFULLY review each song to make sure it is a duplicate ( as I have some music that is the same song but live, acoustic etc...)
Proceed to manually delete each song from the list and leave alone any song that you wish to keep.
    Best of luck,

  • If I have a new apple ID and password do I lose all of my old apps if I sync under the new apple ID?

If I have a new apple ID and password, do I lose all of my old apps if I sync to my new apple ID?

I'll ask my question differently. I have multiple devices and I sync them to my itunes account. For one of my devices, I gave it to a family member. I changed my itunes password and did not give it to the family member who has one of my devices. Will they be able to update applicable apps not having the new password?
Also, if that family member opens their own itunes account and purchase apps and sync the phone, will they lose all the apps that was purchased from my itunes account?

  • Does "restore from the back up of" transfer ALL data (pictures, songs, apps) from the old ipod?

I have recently got a new ipod touch 4th generation from my apple warranty and I am currently setting my new ipod up through itunes.  I have come across the stage where it say "Restore from the backup of (my old ipods name)" and was wondering whether this would transfer all the data (pictures, songs, apps etc) from my old ipod to my new ipod? Thank-you

Just for clarification, the apps themselves, music and photos synced to the iPod have to be on your computer to be preent on your iPod after restoring from backup.  The backup does not contain those items, then are always synced from the computer,

  • Can I walk into an Apple store and have them evaluate my current IPad 2 to see if I'm eligible for a newer version, and if yes can they transfer all the stuff that's on it to the newer version?

I just wanted to know if I went on site to a store if they could evaluate it and see if I could get a discount?
I have usb cable power cord and cover for it too.

    Hi,
I also recommend gazelle.com. I've been pricing many to sell electronics we no longer use and gazelle seems best for me.
If you are trying to buy the ipad air, they're new, so I know you know there are no 'deals' to be had. But if you're thinking of buying an ipad 4, please consider this which I just sent to another poster with a refurbed ipad question. I wrote -
[I strongly suggest that you buy your refurb ipad directly from the Apple online refurb store. We bought two last Summer - 2012. They have been great.
All refurbed ipads come with a brand new front and back cover, a brand new battery and a full one year warranty, including the 90 days of phone support. They come in a box and include the charger, just like a brand new ipad. It just says refurbished near the bottom of he box. If you buy from other retailers, even authorized resellers, their own rules apply and they will not have been refurbished by Apple. Also, in most cases, you only get the remainder of the warranty that the original owner did not use.
The great thing is you might consider increasing your gb space for still less than the cost of a new one. They are a bargain right now.
If you decide on what you want, check the certified refurb store and order it fast. Because they are on the site when available, they can come and go. Some are back the same day and some can take weeks. Shipping is fast and free in the USA.
After the intro of the ipad Air, the ipad 4 refurbed price came down another $30.00. I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
Whatever you decide to buy, enjoy.]
    Hope this helps.

  • HT203167 I have lost everything and want to get it all back...apps, music, etc.  how do I do this?  no I didn't make backups

My iPod, Ipad, and iPhone 4 have all m data and apps abd music but my computer is hosed and I tried downloading itunes again after I uninstalled it.
how do I gewt it all back?

yes to everything; you can add a line (up to 5 total for Family Share), drop a line, upgrade a basic line to a smartphone (and then add a tiered data plan) and stay on your current calling plan ... it may be easier done in your local Corporate Verizon store, though ... just be sure they don't try to switch you to Share Everything if that's not what you want

  • HT203167 My brother-in-law tried to transfer all of my I Tunes music to a flash drive, as a back-up for me.  It seem that he lost all my music, and now, I'm afraid to plug in my I Pod, for fear I'll lose that too.  Now what?

My brother-in-law tried to back up my music on a flash drive.  It now appears as though I don't have an I Tunes account.  Worse yet, the flash drive only contains all the artists for the alphabet "A"!  Can someone PLEASE help me?

  • HT201272 If I go into purchases on iTunes and re-download all of my old films, music and apps onto my new computer will it cost anything?

There's a few thousand purchases on there so I want to be 100% sure otherwise it will cost me a fortune!
I'm using the latest version of iTunes & the computer I'm on is authorised on my Apple ID.

If they're available through the process described in the article from which you came here, no, there will be no additional charge. Note, however, that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time. You can see what content you can download here:

  • Does updating your ipod delete apps, songs, photos or app data or any other thing ???

i want to update to 5.1 and it says that it will backup and restore all apps photos songs and everything.so,does updating delete apps or anything or erase app data and progress??

If you update on your syncing computer and all synced media like app, music and synced photos are in yur itunes library/on the computer, you will not lose them nor ose apps date.  The backup that iTunes makes as the first step of the update includes app dat and some other things but does not include synced media.

  • How to transfer all songs from ipod to my library?

got a new ipod, but some of my songs are only on old ipod, not in my lib. how to transfer all songs from old ipod to lib, so i can put them on new ipod. both ipods are 4GB mini. thanks for help.

There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content only from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
