If you delete iCloud from iPhone will it delete pictures that are on your phone

i set up my iPhone with my Apple ID, but I would like to delete it and use my husbands so that my pictures will go to ur iPad since the iCloud on the iPad is his apple ID. I want to make sure if i delete the iCloud account on my phone it will not delete photos on my phone. Or if I delete the iCloud on the iPad to use my Apple ID will it delete all the photos from our iPad?

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you delete your iCloud account from your phone, it will only delete photos in photo stream, it will not delete photos in your camera roll or other albums that you have on your phone.

  • How do you delete songs that are in your iTunes?

I have imported many song into my iTunes but i would like to get rid of some of them and i dotn listen to them.
Is there any way of removing them altogether from iTunes or am i stuck with them????

If I'm understanding your question correctly you just want to delete songs from your itunes account.  Go into your main music library, hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard, and while doing that, click on any songs that wish to permanently delete.  When you've got those highlighted, let go of the CTRL button, right click on any of the highlighted songs, choose delete, and then confirm what you want to do.  You can't do this from a playlist.  It has to be from the main music library.  Hope that's what you're looking for.

I am using Iphone with windows. I have draged photos from my computer into Iphone in the past, but cant seem to do it now. How do I move photos from my pc to my iphone without deleting photos that are on the phone.

You cannot drag pics from computer to iphone.  This has never been a feature of iphone.
You sync them as you would anything esle.
You select photos from the photos tab.  Whatever is selected will be on your iphone.  Anything not selected will not be. Make sure that everything you want on your iphone is selected, then sync.

My iphone4 and my ipad mini were synced to my computer, but now I don't seem to be able to see all of my content nor my photo stream.  I did see everything there several weeks ago, so I know it worked. How do I access those from my computer.  I can't find how to sign on.
This is the article that will assist with this part of your post:

I signed on to iCloud, but it only shows the icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find Phone, Numbers, Pages and Keynotes. Where's everything else ?
What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

I want to delete photos that are on my iphone, by doing so from the computer, not my phone.
Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone.

  • I recently received an I Pod touch 4th generation. I synced it to my computer and now all my pictures that I have ever taken are now on my Ipod. How do I delete pictures that are not taken by the Ipod but were synced onto the ipod?

I recently received an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I synced it to my computer and now all the pictures that I have ever taken are on my I pod. How do I delete pictures that have been synced from my computer?

    Hi megan21,
Connect your iPod to iTunes, click on your device, and then click on the "Photos" page. If you don't want any photos on your iPod, make sure the "Sync photos from [photo application]" checkbox is unchecked. Or, you could select specific photos in that page to sync to your iPod.
    Hope this helps,
    O.C.

  • How do you control iCloud.  It uploads music and pictures that i  have deleted and it continues to feed them to my TV. Example, I took a picture of an item in a store that I was considering purchasing.. It is now in I cloud with our family photos

How do I edit the content in iCloud?  It uploads everything.  If I take a photo of an item in a store that I am interested in, when I come home it will immediately show up on all of my devices.  When I delete it from all of my devices, it remains in icloud only to show up in family photo shows on our television when we have family visiting.  You should be able to delete pictures and music from icloud.  Does anyone know if it is possible and if so how?

If you delete a photo from the photo stream album on your device, it should also be deleted from photo stream and all other devices connected to your photo stream.  If you're running windows 8, perhaps the problem relates to that as Apple has not indicated that it supports iCloud syncing for windows 8 yet.

  • How do I delete pictures that are not on "camera Roll" that I transferd from my computer?

Delete them on your computer then sync your iPhone.
Or make sure when syncing your iPhone you remove them from the sync instructions.
You cannot delete them directly from the IPhone.

  • How do you delete a photo album off your phone that doesn't have the delete option available? and the photos section on iTunes has no photos synced?

so I have an iPhone 4s and a while back I put a photo album on my phone, but now I cannot delete it!! The delete option isn't there to do it on my device and I have tried unchecking the synced photos button on iTunes and that doesn't work, I just want them off my phone.

If unchecking and syncing in iTunes doesn’t work, you may have to use a third party tool like iPhone PC suite. With it, you can delete the photos and videos in Camera Roll, pictures in apps, pictures transferred from computer to iPhone and more. Use “Crtl + A” (for Windows) or “Command + A” (for Mac) to select all the pictures in an album and delete them, the album will disappear automatically.

  • Can you delete songs that are already on your ipod?

My Ipod automaticly downloaded all of the songs off of my itunes, and I don't want most of them on there, is there anyway to get rid of them?

There are different ways to delete depending how you have your iPod set to update. If you are updating automatically then delete the files from the iTunes library and next time you connect they will automatically be deleted from your iPod. if you are updating manually, connect your iPod and click on the icon when it shows in the iTunes source list. Find the files on your iPod that you want to remove, highlight them and delete directly. To select multiple items such as all the songs in an album, click on the first track in the list hold down the shift key and click on the last track to highlight the selection. Then press the delete key.
To summarise, you start by highlighting the song/video/selection in either the iTunes library or on the iPod song list as displayed in iTunes then press the delete key on your keyboard: Deleting songs or playlists from your iPod
There is also a couple of ways that do not involved deleting the files permanently from iTunes. The default iPod setting is automatically update with iTunes when connected. You can keep the automatically update setting and select the "Only update checked songs" option in the iPod Preferences.
When unchecking a song in iTunes, it will not be updated to the iPod and if already on the iPod, unchecking the song in iTunes will remove it from the iPod during the next update with iTunes.
Another is to set your iPod to "automatically update selected playlists only" then all you need to do is remove the song from the playlist and update, it remains in your library should you want to add it in future.

  • Can you use apps that are on your phone in Itunes?

My question stems from having to set my Iphone 4 back to stock settings.  I do sync with the cloud but for some reason it did not do it correctly.  I lost my apps on my phone but still have them all on my Itunes.  One app I see on my Itunes that I need to access is my Vehical, this tracks my miliage and expenses for work.  Does anyone know how to pull date off of that app in Itunes?

No, you cannot run iOS apps directly in iTunes. Having reset your device to its initial setup you would need to restore a backup of the device taken prior to the reset in order to recover the various app-specific data.

  • If I delete iCloud from iPhone 4 phone will this delete everything from my new upgraded iphone 5 ?

If I delete iCloud from iPhone 4 phone will this delete everything from my new upgraded iphone 5 ?

No. You can delete your iCloud account from your iPhone 4  and the information will remain in iCloud either through syncing or through a backup.or through both features.  Just make sure you have a recent backup.

  • ********Battery back to Normal - Deleting iCloud from iPhone

******** Deleting iCloud from iPhone helped ***********
iCloud is indeed an excellent feature, no denying that. My 3 colleagues too had the same issue, ios5 with iPhone 4 on AT&T , we checked when on 3G( with wifi being turned off)  and nothing being running on the phone, the cellular data usage keeps increasing. Phone keeps sending and receiving data on AT&T for no apparent reason. They too deleted the iCloud account and the sending and receiving of data just stopped.
****** This draining of data happens only when connected to 3G ******.
Turning off/ Deleting icloud account on my iphone helped in *my case*. I am not generalizing here but *if possible* give this option a try, One can always turn on/sign back in the icloud account back and continue using the iphone as before. Don't know if it's AT&T issue or iCloud issue.
If and when this is fixed I do plan to move back to iCloud but for now I am glad I found the problem at least in mine and my other colleague's phone and the battery life of course returned to normal. If you are connected to wifi all the time you will never know this issue.
These are the steps to check if iCloud is a issue:
    1. Turn off wifi and make sure you are connected to 3G (my case it's AT&T)
    2. Reset usage statistics to 0 bytes.
    3. check back usage statistics in 5-10 seconds. please note the the numbers don't refresh automatically.  Go back to "general" and then back to usage. Give this a try for 1-2 min. If indeed iCloud is the issue you will see the usage increase of the cellular data.
    4. Delete iCloud account( you can always sign back in and everything would work like before ) .
    5. Reset usage statistics to 0 bytes. You will see the data drain for 10-20 seconds max and then stopped completely.
    6. Reset it back to 0 bytes. And you will see it goes back up to 1 Kb and then stops completely.
I was able to replicate this behavior in all the 4 iPhones I saw.
Only option for me is to wait for apple to fix this hopefully in the next version.
    Best luck.

its your contacts sync.  iCloud has an issue with contacts synching that drains the battery.  You will note that your phone has a spiraling synching symbol at the top of the screen next to the Wifi icon - indicates a constant attept to sync your Contacts.   Connect to iCloud and make sure it syncs and uploads all contacts to the iCloud.  Back up your contacts on your computer anyway or back up your iPhone data including your Contacts, turn off Contacts sync in your iCloud settings and allow contacts to be deleted off your phone.  Then turn iCloud sync for Contacts back on and allow it to merge data with the cloud.  BOOM - Fixed.
