Is it easy to get an exchange?
I bought my ipod at target and it's been about 3 months..
but I don't have any receipts left..
my ipod has a faulty scroll wheel.. the button presses in too much. anywho, it's still under warranty and I'm thinking of taking it to an apple store. I was trying to get a repair thingy via internet but I was guessing it would be better to just take it to the store.
So.. is it easy to get an exchange? do they exchange the product then and there? or do I have to wait until one comes in the mail?
I was wonderinf since I've heard they exchange your product by giving you a refurbished one.. so.. I'm not sure if they have those ready at the store...
Anywho, I'm wondering if they will even exchange my mini..
I didn't realize at first but compared to the one displayed, the buttons felt.. weird.. so.. hmmm..

It is fairly easy to get a replacement. If you are very unhappy with the way your iPod is working, express your frustration, explaining that you payed a lot of money for this, and it isn't working the way it claims to. I have resorted to getting a replacement due to battery failure in the past, and that is the way it worked. They gave me a brand new iPod right on the spot, and I was very happy with the service. I'm not sure how it will work for you, but Apple has extremely good service, so you're in good hands. I do not think that they will give you a refurbished iPod, but they may have to send it in. Now that I think about it, they definitely should either fix it, or give you a new one, because you paid for a new one, not a refurbished! Anyway, let me know how it goes! Hope this helped you! If you have a shattered screen and the lock button doesnt work, but you only tell the apple store about the lock button, will they give you a whole new phone, or just fix the button. Even if you still have warranty

I recently broke my lock button when it dropped, and wont work again, also i shattered my screen a while back, but it didnt bother me. Now that i want to get the button fixed, will the apple store only fix the button, or the whole phone. I still have 2 weeks of warranty left so it's not like they'd fix one thing and not the other when either way they'll both be free ya know?

They will not give you anything.
They wil either return the device as is or replace it at the out of warranty replacement cost.

Yeah just tested it, change the tmobile to iPhone tarrif and it's unlocked. So Peter was right it is unlocked if you buy from the Apple store. Plus I thought it would be unlocked just needed conformation, like I said the sales guy said it is unlocked to all networks.

No, Apple Online Store is a different family from the MAS. You can use it on the iTunes Store though.

Basically just what the question says. Only reason I want to know is because I have had 4 iPod touches. All 4th gen. My original one got cracked but I traded it in for a new one. That ones battery died within 5 minutes of usage. I took that one to the Apple Store and they gave me another one. This one won't charge and dies very quickly. Those are the reasons I suspect that it is refurbished and want to know.

They have the option to give you a refurbished iPod. The refurbished iPod includes a new battery and new back at least.

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Lion was released in July 20, 2011. Any NEW Mac sold after that date is entitled to Lion AFAIK. If you purchased yours from some seller that had it aging on the shelf since God-knows-when, contact Apple and see if you can get some sort of redeem code to download Lion from the Apple Store for free.
Older used/refurbished Macs are entitled to the OS in force at the time of their manufacture and should come with the installation media as a condition of sale. Apple MAY provide you with replacement media for a cost, if at all. Lion upgrades will have a cost and the Mac must follow an upgrade path thru Snow Leopard before Lion can be installed via an online download.

Why are you using a usb ethernet adaptor? Just plug the modem into the usb port.
