in an interview of java. i have been asked the following question. i am little bit confuse that which is the correct answer.
If you have developed an microprocessor by name JUGGI, how would you account for the JVM ?
a) Write/ Develop a new JVM by going through the SUN standards
b) Implement the same JVM that’s in windows , linux as JVM is platform independent.
c) Leave it to the SUN to write it for you
d) Need not write anything

Because it is a poorly written question. Not surprising since many technical questions that don't allow for open ended answers fall into that category.

Presume that the computer is a desktop computer which is comparable (but not the same-remember the CPU) as a linux or windows computer. Additionally you are not allowed to use outside resources to implement the solution.

d) Need not write anythingGiven the above question the answer is a.
If one excludes the last sentence of the above then the 'best' answer is c because Oracle (Sun no longer exists) would be more than willing to write it for you if you gave them the money. And they are more likely to have the appropriate expertise to do it as well.
