If you have multiple devices on the find my iphone how do you prevent someone from accessing those other devices if your device is stolen

I have set up the find my iphone app to be hooked up to my phone, computer, ipod and my family's devices. Thru the find my iphone app you can delete the hard drive of any device to keep a theif from getting your personal information. But lets say my phone is stolen, is there a way of preventing the person who stolen my phone from being able to delete the information on my computer?

Your device should have it's screenlock enabled so that this can't happen, but if you haven't set a screenlock, then yes someone could do this.

Try these two ways to fix the iPhone (in order). If neither works, you would have to take it to the store.
1. Reset the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons togehter for about 10 seconds. If it works, you'll get the Apple logo and then something good should happen.
2. Try recovery mode as described here:

If one of these work, you can then re-introduce the iPhone to Find My iPhone by doing Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone = "On" on the device.

No, you can only potentially track it if you have Find My iPhone enabled on it, you can't do it via the serial number.
If this isn't hypothetical, then if your iPad has been stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. and contact your carrier.

Can you have multiple databases on the same LUN in Exchange 2010?

I'm sure you can but is it possible with exchange 2010 to have multiple databases on the same LUN. We currently have 8 DB's all writing to their own DB drive and separate log drive so 16 drives in total. I need to spin a new DB up this week and
wanted to double check this is possible. I've looked online and cant find anything that I've seen before that says this is possible.

Yes, multiple databases could be placed on the same LUN, but it's not recommended.
If you have 2 drives fail at the same time (it happens more than you think), then losing 100% of your DBs is a lot worse than losing one of them or some of them depending on where the failures are.

It is my understanding from these documents that if it is on and connected to the internet you can track it. In there it tells how tell if it is online by the color of the dot.

Can family members added as part of the Family Share feature of iOS 8 really erase other family members devices with the Find My iPhone feature?

I initiated a Chat session with Apple Support to see if this was really possible. The answer I got was that it DID seem possible at this time. If this is true, then Apple may want to look at giving the sharing device the option to disallow other family members from erasing that device remotely (or playing sound, entering lost mode).
I would be comfortable allowing my wife to lock my iphone or erase it remotely if needed, but I would not want any of my kids to have that ability.
Can somebody else confirm this could be done?

Just tested this. You have to enter the Apple ID Password for the device you are trying to remote erase. You CAN put the device in lost mode without the password, but you cannot initiate a remote wipe without the password for the device.

My husband and I have 2 centro (AT&T) phones. We would like to share our calendar information with each other. He has the Palm Desktop program downloaded on his work computer. He is using the Outlook calendar at work. We would also like to download the Palm program downloaded on our home computer. But we weren't sure if 2 different users can access it, etc. How do we do it correctly? Do we have to use one username for both Palm Desktop? Does the computer recognize the 2 phones? How do we transfer information between the 2 phones? We do not have a data plan. We would like to use the USB cable to avoid data charges. Yes he can sync it with palm desktop at home. But if you want to share calendar and use different usernames, then you cannot do it with palm desktop but you can if you use outlook.

The promotion between paypal and foxfire is preventing me from connecting to other sites. I do not have a paypal account and therefore does not need this information--can it be removed so my educations sites can load up

I've got to agree with Allan. It sounds like the hard drive is corrupt at least. It's possible it might be physically failing. Without backups, it's possible your data is already gone. You need a professional to help you.
If you do not have an Apple Store near you or simply don't have the time to spare, there are some things you can try, but you must understand that it's possible these things could make the chances of recovering your data worse than they already are. Perform the instructions to follow at your own risk!
First, you can try repairing your hard drive with Disk Utility. If that works, see if you can start up the machine. If you can, the very first thing you need to do is back up any data you don't want to lose. You may still need to take other steps, as your system may be damaged as well, but getting the data is the important part.
If Disk Utility cannot repair the problems, you can try DiskWarrior. It can repair problems that Disk Utility cannot. However, it also increases the risk of destroying your data if it fails. If it works and you can start up the machine, do the same as I advised for following success with Disk Utility.
If repairs (with either) were successful, but the machine still won't start up, you can try reinstalling the system. Hold down command-R at startup and then just install right on top of the existing system. If all goes well, you'll be able to start up afterwards and can get your data backed up. If all goes badly, it'll further decrease the chances of getting your data back.
If neither can repair the damage, you're in bad shape. You will need a professional to help you, unless you are willing to lose all your data.

That's happening for two reasons: 1. Everyone shares the same iTunes account(OK, & permitted), 2. The other devices have this setting on: Settings>Store>Automatic Downloads>Music/Apps>On. Also, in iTunes, with the various devices connected, under the Apps Tab, make sure there is no check in the box labeled "Automatically Sync New Apps". That should put an end to this.
