ok smart guy figure this one out please. because i think that other guy has the same problem just different situation. i broke my old i phone. so while i was working one day my ex girlfriend went out a purchased a new one. so when she gets the phone she decides she'll set it up and update the ios and what not. she called me and asked me for my apple id. so i gave it to her. then she asked for my password and i hesitated. only because like most men. we use the same password for everything facebook instagram etc. so i made one up. she calls back and says it wrong. and i told her o well i didnt need any apps or anything just not to worry about it. so in the mean time while im back at work she continues to set it up. well little did i know my phone was backed up to i cloud. but not to my apple id. she made one up for i cloud almost exact to my apple one. so instead of it being @yahoo.com. its @icloud.com. but i cant remember the exact way she made it because she added or left out a few character compared to my apple id. now that she my ex she will not tell me the email she made or the password . and there is no way i can link it to my apple id or anything. so now im sitting her stuck with a phone with all my pics work. basically everything because i dnt know the password or email she used for i cloud. ive called apple , went to at&t and also drove an hr one way to the nearest apple store and still no help. the phone is mine. i gave them emie or iemi number.what ever it is called and they pulled it up on the phone and verified it was me. but they couldnt give the email to the i cloud account. so after i restored my phone i go through the steps and it wont let me go any further because i dnt know the icloud info. and she used the find my i phone thing. thats backed up by i cloud. and now th ex can still access all my stuff from other apple devices but i cant. cause she knows all the info and im in the dark. please help me. i dnt think anyone has ran into this yet.

It could be possible that the adapter is defective but I'm pretty sure it's a software thing. The signal being sent to my television seems healthy, but it's just not the right kind of signal.
Why would my iBook mistake the television adaptor for an external monitor? Is there a preference file that I could delete? Is there not a way to force my iBook into seeing the television adapter?

Fonts look blurry in the overall menu in this new version of browser (v.4). I tried all the options that you specified with the ClearType an so on... It seems that the problem is not from Windows 7 because the old version looks ok. Can you solve this shortcoming ?
Until you resolve it I'll stay with the previous version (3.6.16) which it looks really good.

Yea, when I actually install my applications and launch them from GNOME Shell's menu or launcher the fonts look as blurry as they do when I launch them from Anjuta. Other applications look fine and with the workarounds I described above, my own applications display nicely too when launched from either GNOME Shell or Anjuta.

Problems using right click to open in new Tab or Window. Will not work. How do you solve this. Have v5.0 installed.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

What does caution sign mean in iPhoto? I can open and view some of my photos, but some I can't. How do you solve this problem?

I accidentally created an Event with flagged photos. I didn't really want to do that, but couln't "undo" it. I used Time Machine to restore iphoto, going to the day before the incident happened. I tried holding down the option key and reboot iphoto. I tried to restore using Time Machine again. I used Disk Utilities to repair permissions. I tried to rebuild thumbnails. None of this worked. Does anyone have a solution to this? I upgraded to Mavericks when it first came out and things seemed to be fine since then until this happened. Not sure if this is a Mavericks issue or something I did.

Just have 4 cameras that I use to export from the camera to iphoto- none of them are new cameras so that hasn't changed. I don't think there is anything I'm doing that is unusual- just your basic editing, etc.

TS3276 Mail is not responding. When I double click the icon spinning colour ball come out and my Mac Book Air hang. Can you solve this Problem?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Joining multiple inDesign files into one, can you solve this?

OK so basically I work at a magazine, the creative's all work on separate spreads so all the inDesign files consist of between 1 and 10 pages then usually they are all spat out in there sets of PDF's and sent to the printers.
Now I want to do an online addition of the magazine with the new SWF export feature in inDesign CS4 but I'm wondering how can you easily compile all of the separate inDesign files into one so that it can spit out one single swf with all 200 pages with the page peel effect?
Is there even a way without a mass of work of manually adding all the pages into one file, that would be absolutely humongous? Anyone with any suggestions how to make this process the simplist and with the least amount of labout would be an absoulute legend, I have little time to spend on this which sucks so looking for the best and fastest possible way that we could do it each month.

I migth have a kind of solution for you. I have made a solution named eDocBrowser. (I called it Magazine Browser in earlier threads here and couple of other forums). It´s a collection of files that you publish with you SWF-files you have exported from InDesign. With eDocBrowser, you can put several SWF-files together and end-user can use them almost as one single SWF. Heres little demo I made just few minutes ago.

There are 3 SWF-files, all of them exported from InDesign. They are originally separate indd-files. When you reach last page of Document1, small arrow appears, and text "Jump to next file" and name of the next file too. You can go there also by using next-button at the bottom right corner, one that you use normaly to go next page. Same kind of arrow appears also when you are in first page of document 2 or 3 etc... with it you can go back to earlier documents last page etc... All the documents can be seen also in a drop-down menu at top of the screen. Labels of that menu are customizable.
Theres also a zoom. When you clic zoom+ button, your cursor changes to magnifying glass. With zoom- you can go back to normal view.
Additional features are FullScreen-view, Printing current spread and customizing user interface, buttons and logo at the top-left corner. Text search is very exprerimental and requires indd-file indexing with script we have made too. It indexes every single word in indd-document to XML-file and put pagenumbers there too. eDocBrowser searches that XML-file and gives all the hits to small result window. Hits are also links to page where they point...Search is not in use with this demo..
There is a small help-section in top-right corner...
We also have a script called eDocMaker. It does everything for you. You just have to have indd-files in one folder. Script asks location of that folder when you run it. It also askes you which resolution you want to use with images, anything goes between 72-2400 (72ppi is indesign´s default resolution for SWF-export, using bigger resolution might cause bigger SWF-files, but images look better when zoomed)
Price of the single licence of eDocBrowser will be 80euros (aprx. 100dollars). With it you may install one copy of eDocBrowser into your server and use as many SWF-files there as you want. There is no search feature in single version.
Price of unlimited licence is 300euros (aprx.400dollars) With it you may install as many copies of eDocBrowser as you like. With it you also get all the indesign scripts including eDocMaker with resolution booster, search indexer etc. + goodies like user interface and button templates, indesign effect (3D spine graphic etc)....
Product is about ready, we are just setting up a place to sell it. Now it seems that we are going to use a service called payloadz.com....

I have actually had similar prob. with my 5g pod. Have you restored?? - ill guess that you have, and still hasnt helped. Try putting it into another PC, and through that computer rstore ipod. Or maybe try reinstalling itunes on your pc - never know!!

My songs in the library keep freezing when playing, how do you solve this?

I've recently updated my iTunes software and since doing this each time I play one of my songs in my library, It keeps freezing and stuttering inbetween each song. Is there a bug on the latest software? How do i fix this.

When i did my last update of Firefox from 3.6 to the version before 5.0 Frame 2.0 did not work. Have you solved this problem in the new version?

When i upgraded Firefox from version 3.6 to the next version I got a message about Frames that did not work. I work as a warehouse manager and we use an application called LogTrade when we ship goods. LogTrade was not working with the version after 3.6, I think it was 4.0? I had to reinstall 3.6 to get it working. Since LogTrade is essential for my work I don't know if I dare to upgrade to version 5.0.

Back from the gym.
Same behavior with the Apple earbuds. Turn music on; and music turns off within seconds. Wait. Then maybe screen suddenly lights up. Quick, press play! Oh, too late, it went dark again. Fuss with the device. Suddenly screen lights up. Press play. Music! A few seconds, then off. Arghhh. And this happens whether I run or whether I am lifting weights.
Then, for the last half hour, fine behavior. Double click goes to the next song. One click lights the screen on. One click lights the screen off. Running, walking, or stretching.
Net net, same erratic behavior as with the other headset. I made sure the Apple jack was fully inserted per the photo on another thread in this support community. The part where the iPod was working fine also explains why the genius at the store thought I was gaga when I claimed there was a problem.
Shuffle shake is off; double click on big button set to next song; all other options off.

REGEXP_SUBSTR ( s

              )returns the nth item in a comma-delimited list s. (It retuirns NULL if there are not that many items.)
Cross-join with a counter table to get the values for n, and test if the nth item is the one that starts with 'TCC='.
Depending on you data, it might be easier to use REGEXP_SUBSTR or REGEXP_REPLACE to find the part of the string between 'TCC=' and the next comma. (I can't tell from the one row of sample data.)
Once you have the TCC-substring, use REGEXP_SUBSTR again to get the m-th item from the /-delimited list. (Use a different counter table.)
If you need more help, post some more test data and desired results, testing any special cases, such as:
two or more 'TCC=' items in one string
NULL entries ('TCC=1///4')
Misplaced label ('1/2/TCC=3/4/5')
malformed numbers ('TCC=1.0.0/4')
REGEXP_ function only work in Oracle 10 and up.
