I have a problem when trying to sign emails with an X.509 certificate in Outlook 2010. I constantly get the error message. The certificate is Verified for the email address I'm sending from.

You may have checked the option "Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages" in Outlook, please uncheck this to test if the problem persists.
File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> E-mail Security -> Clear the checkbox "Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages" -> OK.

If you both have seperate iTunes Store accounts then basically, yes, it is going "screw up" your wife's account.
iTunes Match is designed as a single-user service which is associated with one and only one iTunes Store account ID. If you have subscribed on your account and want to activate the service on another computer that is already signed in with an account the present account must be signed out and then iTunes signed into your account. This means the other computer will have complete access to your account and will only be able to make purchases on your account. iTM is not designed to be signed in and out at will. If she has apps purchased with her iTunes Store account they will not be able to be updated.

.Mac is your account and anything that you publish from iWeb is published to your iDisk - like your server.

Sure, that is trivial setup.. they both have different names and IP addresses.
You should be able to use ReadyNas for TM backup but you should check the latest state of play for that.

Do you use Dart Motiff for your flash ads?

I'm looking to make some swf ads for my website. Specifically
some .swf that has a transparent background, hovers over my
existing text and then closes by itself or gives the user the
option of closing the ad before it finishes playing.
I've searched and searched and have been unable to find any
instructions that are basic for me to understand. However, I did
find

offers a "Motif Ad Kit" for flash. I tried it out and it is
excellent and exactly what I'm looking for.
However, how do I get it to work on my site? It saves the
completed file in a *.mtf format which obviously won't work on a
site. I tried saving the completed work as a .swf and putting it
into my site like that (both as a new layer and as normal) and that
is not working.
My question... Is there a way of using this Ad Kit for my own
site or do I have to have an account with Motif. The way it appears
is I have to have an account with Motif, save my *.mtf file and
download to them and then they give me the tag for my site.
If someone knows let me know. (Yes I left an email with
motif, however it is the weekend and I'm hoping to find out today).

Trust me Jared, these things are extremely simple. I mean
damn, way extremely.
You don't need 3rd party tools for it. Not to mention that
their ideas are not
fresh. Peal corner personally did and use commercially more
than 5 years ago.

Forget that junk. Tell us which one you have in mind and we
can help you get it
done. Before that tho, please clarify roughly what is your
flash skill like.
Don't want to overwhelm with jargon if you very new nor waste
your time explain
basics while you got them covered.

What do you use for replication to your DR system?

Hello,
I'm wondering what everyone uses for replication to their DR systems? Do you use a hardware or software solution and which one? Are you happy with the results? We currently use MIMIX HA1 and have been having problems getting our audits to run once we upgraded to ECC 6.0. There seems to be so many tables, that the audits cannot finish.
I am wondering if anyone else uses Mimix and has better luck on ECC? Or do folks use something else and have better luck with it.
I appreciate any input you might have. Thank you.

We are running a i570 with 2 power 5+ and 15 GB's of mem.
But looks like you shud be ok on the hardware side. 1 cpu and 72gb is good enough to handle the audit
It takes us close to 5 hours to run the FILDTA on the production library. plus since we run it only once a week, we run it at level 30( 100% i believe)...
And yes, we run it from the traget side, as that is the mgmt system. you can't run it from the network system. Looks like your mgmt system is the source in your case.
There are a lot of thing which are unknown to us about your system/configuration.
The data group you are running in FILDTA, whcih had the production library could be having other objects as well, which would definitely increase the timings...
Also a factor would be the network connection between the source and the target...
Also what the release of HA lite you are running? We are running version 6.

I know that if you attach a hard drive to "Airport Extreme" that you can not use the hard drive to back up a partitioned computer. Can you using "Time Capsule" ?

Time Machine will back up the Mac OS X partition to the Time Capsule, but cannot back up the Windows one. This is the same with a regular external drive.

I know the iCloud support website says this: "If your device is lost or stolen, you can erase the personal information (such as your contacts, email, and music) and settings on that device to prevent anyone else from seeing or using your information"
So I know that my contats, e-mail and music will be erased when I remotely erase my iPod, but will my iMessages, Videos, apps, accounts, etc., also be erased from the iPod?

Signing the iPod out of your iTunes Store account does not affect Find My iPod. But if the thief can get into the settings to sign out of your iTunes Store account, he or she can probably also cancel Find My iPod, after which you will no longer be able to track nor erase the device. And of course if the thief can get into your iPod to change any settings, then he or she already has access to all your data. Did you have a passcode set for the screen lock?

You need to upload the video somewhere, and then send them the link to it - not the actual video. Then your friend views or downloads the video from the web link.
Google for "send large files" for dozens of options. Not sure how many will work directly from an iPad though.

Can you use AirPlay to connect your Macbook to a HDTV via apple TV if the Macbook screen is shut and you have a bluetooth mouse and keyboard?

I thought now airplay is eqully functioning as HDMI/thunderbolt cables, wirelessly. But only one problem, with 1080P videos, it is a little bit laggy for my Macbook Air 2011, perhaps if you get a newer model, this won't happen at all.

Are you using Image Browser with your Mac?

I am wondering if I am the only one with this problem. It seems that somehow Image Browser doesn't want to get alone with my iMac 10.4.11. I have called Apple tech support deleted, cookies, ran utility disk etc.
It it didn't help. Every time that I touch Image Browser just to expand the page, the wheel will turn, and turn, and forget it I'm trying to do anything with the thumbnails. And if I am trying to delete a thumbnail there is a delay factor.
On the other hand, I have no problem using DPP also from Canon but I prefer using I Browser or in conjunction with DPP.
Please let me know if you had this problem and how you fixed it

I like the Canon VIXIA HV30 MiniDV High Definition Camcorder
I use it more with iMovie 06 (need for making DVDs) than with iMovie 09. Works with both using Firewire.
Why tape? It's cheap and convenient. Tape is patient. I can do it on my schedule. With a hard disk, it can get full at a time that is inconvenient to transfer but I need to do some more shooting. Then I would have to consider the dreaded DELETE of something I shot. With tape I can postphone transfering and editing for months without impairing my camera readiness. After I transfer, I still have the tape.

If you use Godaddy - I need your help please

Hi - I'm trying to get my site "live" on GoDaddy. I FTP'd my site and GoDaddy did receive it. The site, according to them has "propagated" the appropriate places. The site won't display because I waas told the homepage and/or index file is either missing or is in the wrong place. I'm sure this is because I did something incorrect but I don't know what. I published teh site to a folder and then uploaded the folder which i believe has this critical file in it. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Steve,
When you "Publish to Folder" through iWeb, iWeb puts everything you need to upload into a folder. You need to upload the "index.html" file AND the folder (named after your site) containing all of the required site files. Make sure you upload these two items to your webspace at GoDaddy without the enclosing folder. So after you are done, you should see two items in your GoDaddy webspace directory...the "index.html" file and the site folder (with all the other files inside).
