If you want blank guest password, you need to scrap Linksys?
I'm 99.9% sure the answer is "yes", but just in case...
One of my customers uses three (3) EA4500's in bridge (access point) mode, plus the Guest WiFi feature. But they've decided that it's too cumbersome to require their guests to use a password, and more importantly the Cisco web page that they have to open to input this password.
They want their guests to simply be able to select the SSID of their guest network, and use their Internet.
I have told them that Cisco/Linksys models just cannot do this, and that they would have to replace their 3 WAP's with ones from another manufacturer (real Cisco or otherwise)
Sound right?
I have used Linksys for years (10+) but switched to Netgear about three years ago. I still hang out here to help the Linksys/Belkin folks as they seem to have more problems. I use the WNDR3400v2 router as it works perfect and never a drop or reset in 2+ years. The guest WiFi can be configured to be totally isolated from your main network, or you can let the guest devices share between themselves only, or you can let your guest devices on your main network. You have choices.

When trying to launch iTunes on my PC running Windows 7 it freezes and I get the message: "Authentication Required. To access this site you need to log in to area "100656 on mellor.co. Your password will be sent in the clear." Because iTunes is frizen at this point I am unable to enter a username or password, or in fact do anything. Please help!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes numerous times as well as attempting all of the fixes that I could find on-line and still no joy.
That sounds extremely phishy to me... iTunes does not require authentication simply to launch it. I suspect you've got something nasty intercepting network traffic. That server may be set up to log the Apple ID that you enter so it can be used fraudulently. Try ComboFix from Bleeping Computer.
FWIW the domain mellor.co is registered to an accountants in Knutsford, Cheshire, UK, and produces the same authentication request if visited with a browser. There is no sign of a "real" publicly visible website at that domain which is a somewhat odd.

Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.

If it is asking for the screen-lock passcode then:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
