If your Airport is connected but you can't surf, check your DNS Servers

I just had 2 customers who upgraded their OS's to 10.6 and it stuck 2 DNS servers in their network settings, 65.106.1.196 and 65.106.7.196. Delete them and if your computer is set to DHCP, it'll acquire the correct DNS servers from your modem or router. You can find them in "Advanced".

Finally got it fix and setup!
How I did it:
1) Turn on AEBS, press and hold on reset button for 5 sec.
2) Turn off AEBS after its initialization. (only center light permanently ON)
3) Turn on iMac.
4) Remote all KeyChain files related to AirPort. AEBS is still off.
4) Update AirPort software to v4.2
5) Update AirPort Extreme card dirver to v1.0 (update 2005-001)
6) Restart iMac and login then Turn on AEBS.
7) Pop-up shows "Apple Network as980510" is found, click OK.
8) Run AirPort Setup Assistant from Application/Utilities
9) Update AEBS firmware to v5.7
10) After AEBS restart successfully, fine its configuration accordingly.
11) Set dial-up ISP parameters and click Update
12) At iMac System Preferences>Network click 'AirPort' then 'Configure'
13) At 'AirPort' tab, change 'By default join' to 'Preferred Networks' and choose the one defined at step 8.
14) At 'Proxies' tab, checked 'Web Proxy (http)', 'FTP Proxy' and key in ISP's proxies according.
15) Launch Safari and start surfing.
Because I have missed out step 12-14, that causes me hours of troubleshooting and late night sleep. Finally.... it works and I'm confident it's solved. Hope it will help some of you out there! Cheers!

No, Three feet away from the wireless. When i connect to the cat6 cable, I have no problem with the high-speed of the router.
It's only trying to disconnect and go wireless that I have a "fake connection" if you will

I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
If the above steps do not solve the problem, start over with step 1 above, but then perform the next steps between steps 1 & 2. above.
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Continue with step 2 in the first set of steps.
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results.

Sure-glad to help you. You will not lose any data by changing synching to MacBook Pro from imac. You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro

time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff.

The only way to open an iCloud account using your Apple ID is on a Mac or an IOS device, there are no alternatives.

You don't - you check your warranty status and have apple replace it for you. make sure you restore the phone as new first (after making a backup, of course) to see if the speaker works then. this isolates the issue to either your hardware or your software. if it's still happening after a restore as new through itunes, it means it's hardware that's the problem and apple will fix it for you

Check the IP address assigned to your iPad (touch the ">" next to your network name in Settings > WiFi). If it starts with 169 then your router has not assigned a valid LAN IP address to your iPad. It might appear to be connected but you will have no success on the internet.
Sometimes restarting your router by temporarily (30 seconds) removing/restoring power to it will solve this problem. If it doesn't check that your router has up-to-date manufacturer's firmware and test your iPad on some other networks to see if it works properly there.

Did you use the latest backup after setting it up "as new device"? If yes, try again, this time without using the backup, maybe it contains damaged data causing your problem.
If this does not bring any change, you should get it serviced.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Phone and messages is a carrier issue. Sprint needs to check your account to make sure it is set up correctly. If everything looks good on their end, then do a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, try it.
