Apple will do nothing to assist. Problems about proof of ownership are too complex. Once the computer has been formatted it cannot be traced by Find My iPhone or any other software process.

I'm kinda guessing here, but your phone was stolen and you want to lock it, but it is showing offline? You can send an lock request, and a delete request, but if it is offline, it will not be received until the device goes back online again. If the device has the latest iOS on it, and Find My iPhone active, then it cannot be activated without your Apple ID and password. It will be a brick. And, if they try to activate, it will connect to the Internet and you will be able to track and the erase will activate.

You can track it on a computer. Open http://www.icloud.com, login with your Apple ID and select Find my iPhone

How can I reset a phone with Find My iPhone enabled?

I purchased a phone from someone I do not know very well because mine suffered water damage and I do not want to use my Verion upgrade until the iPhone 6 is released.
He reset the phone but of course did not disable Find My iPhone. The guy is nice enough and tried to give me his log in information but could not remember it. He also used vague answers for his security questions, so I have not been able to unlock his account. I have tried to get him to call Apple himself, but he has since stopped dealing with me (I've probably driven him crazy, but he doesn't understand that what he would need to do is explain his situation and it would be relatively simple to convince Apple to reset his information).
My question is this... If I wrote somthing out for him to sign stating that he sold the phone to me and cannot login to disable the application, will an Apple agent be able to reset it for me? Is there any way around this?

You can't. Get your money back. It's useless to you. Nothing he could "sign" would do you any good. The only way Apple will intervene is if you have the original proof of purchase from an authorized source. If he won't or can't take care of the problem and won't give you a refund, turn the phone over to the police and give them all the information you can on the seller. It's likely it's stolen if he can't remove the lock.

Can my need be solved with a group calendar or any other function in Exchange/Outlook?

I will try to express our need for our "Project Office" and is interested in how this can be solved using Outlook/Exchange.
Our Project Office is in charge of several Projects and the Project Office Manager is interested to have a single calendar view with all activities for the different Projects.
The Project leaders and the Project Office Manager also have other activities that they don't want to show up in the Project Office calendar. They do not want to register activities
two times, one in the personal calendar and one in the Project Office calendar.
A possible scenario could be to handle the Project Office calendar as a resource or a
addressee that can be included in those activities that should be included in the Project Office calendar (with the difference that double bookings should be allowed).
Scenario:
Project Manager 1 invites to a steering group meeting for project A. She invites all participants,
a room and the "Project Office calendar"
Project manager 2 invites to a sprint demo for project B. He invites all participants, a room and also the "Project Office calendar"
The Project Office manager (and others) can see all activities in the Project Office calendar. They can also use the calendar for planning so that important activities will not
collide.

I think we can consider to create a shared mailbox for the Project Managers. Then share the shared mailbox calendar for other users. To do it, we can try the following steps:
1. Create a shared mailbox:
New-Mailbox -Shared -Name "Projects" -DisplayName "Projects" -Alias Projects
2. Assign Full access permission for project managers:
Add-MailboxPermission -Identity Projects -User Manager1 -AccessRights FullAccess
Add-MailboxPermission -Identity Projects -User Manager2 -AccessRights FullAccess
3. If the “project Office Calendar” can be viewed by all users in your domain, we can change the default permission to Reviewer:
Set-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity Projects:\Calendar -User Default -AccessRights Reviewer
If you just want some specific users to view this calendar, please leave the default permission to None or AvailabilityOnly. We can create a distribution Group (security group) for these users and set permission to it:
Add-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity Projects:\Calendar -User GroupUsers -AccessRights Reviewer
Then Project managers can send all activities to this calendar and it is visible for all users.

Try completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components; you may need to do this multiple times. It won't normally affect the iTunes library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Sony has put in a position that the camera was connected with their software called PlayMemories Home . This then allows you to import movies and photos on the computer and then use them in different ways. However, when the camera is connected to the mac and I said Mass Storage USB Connected , then you execute this program I told you about two seconds later , however returns an error message that is: Connect the device to your computer or multimedia support . I dropped my 17" macbook pro and the screen is broken. Can I still use it with an external monitor? When I plugged it into a monitor I had used it with before, I'm not able to see anything on the macbook screen to control it. It came on but I just got the blue screen with nothing else after typing in my password. (Didn't see the password form just assumed it was there somewhere and it did go from space to blue screen but no desktop icons, files, dock strip at top or anything else, just blank blue screen) so I can't access the system preferences.

I'd like to promise you that everything will be fine if you just get the monitor going - but it's hard to know what the hardware damage might be. It might be the monitor, or the damage might be greater.
Your best solution would be visit your local Apple Store and let them know what your situation is. They have access to diagnostics you don't, and they might be able to the best way to save your data and keep you computing. It's still not covered, but they can tell you what your current options are.
Um, you might consider investing in a backup drive.

If you're using Mac OS X, follow these steps:
Quit iTunes.
Go to your iTunes Media folder. By default, it's in ~/Music/iTunes. (This folder may be named iTunes Music if you created your iTunes library in iTunes 9 or earlier.)
Note: "~" represents your Home folder. Other users on your computer can't access these locations.
Drag the iTunes Media folder to a public location. For example, you could move it to the Public folder in your Home folder (~/Public) or to a location outside your Home folder that other users can access (/Users/Shared).
Important: Don't move the iTunes folder, the iTunes library file, or the iTunes library.xml file.
Open iTunes.
Choose iTunes > Preferences.
Click Advanced.
Click the Change button.
In the window that opens, go to your iTunes Media folder.
Click Choose or Open.
Repeat these steps for each user that you want to share music with. If multiple users on your computer are storing music in the same public folder, duplicate song files may appear if a user imports music from a CD that another user already imported.

With the exception of photo stream, iCloud doesn't sync your apps or photos between devices. You will continue to sync this content via iTunes in the same way as you do now.
Photo stream allows you to sync your most recent photos between all devices, you have the option to use photostream or not.

My 3GS is dying and it's synced to an older computer. I have tons of datafiles as well as apps, music, text messages, etc. that I need to get moved to the new iphone4 I'm getting. Then I need to move the sync to a newer computer so that I can sync the new phone and new computer.
I understand how to get my apps to transfer to a new pc. That's not the issue. It's getting ALL the data from the 3GS to the 4 and then to a new computer.

ITunes cannot sync to the AppleTV because of a problem on your computer. The required file cannot be found.

I have two first Gen Apple TV's and a new MAC Book Pro. I have about 600GB of music and 40GB of photos located on an external hard drive (Western Digital). In the past, I have not run into any issues when syncing music or photos. Recently, I get an error message "iTunes cannot sync to the AppleTV because of a problem you your computer. The required file cannot be found." I noticed this after I added a few folders to my photo folder, which the AppleTV is pointed to for accessing and syncing my photos. I went to the AppleTV to look to see if the new folders were in the photos, but they were not listed and obviously not syncing from the hard drive to the AppleTV.
For trouble shooting, I disconnected my upstairs AppleTV from iTunes, then reconnected, pointed the AppleTV to the applicable music and phots folders on my external hard drive. The music synced fine, but the photos did not sync. I got the same error message.
Does anyone have any advice to what the issue may be??
I read some posts similar to mine and the referenced deleting the iPhoto file cache. I did not try this as I do not use iPhoto as the source for my photos syncing to my AppleTV's.

Looks like my WD Hard Drive may have an issue. I pointed the Apple TV to the photos folder on my other WD Hard Drive, which is formatted for MAC and it synced the photos fine. I had never had an issue with the first WD Hard Drive, but it was never formatted for MAC.
Not sure if this could be the issue???
I am considering getting an Apple Time Capsule (2 TB) for my back up, but also need a second back up for all my music and photos.
Does anyone have advice on moving to the Time Capsule as my main back up and keeping a WD as the secondary back up??
