IFCU in R/3 4.7

Hi All
Pl confirm me whether IFCU can be used in 4.7 Version. I have activated EA-PLM also done all configs under Consumption relevant Counter Reading Update.
When I select the Fluid type in IFCU it is not accepting the Fluid type configured and throwing error
"Auxiliary materials and consumables cannot determined " Even though all configs are correct.
I have done the same in 5.0 Version and tested its working fine but not in 4.7.
Pl confirm whether this feature is possible in 4.7 ????

I have done all the configs related to Auxilliary materials and Document update properly.
Bcos with the same configs IFCU is working fine in 5.0 version, I tested that.
I have doubt whether this feature is there with 4.7. Can you pl cofirm that.
If anyone done IFCU in 4.7 version pl confirm me the possibility.

Field Exit for IFCU

Hi Pete,
The first screen for transaction IFCU, shows two fields: The equipment we are trying to record a consumption for and a GasStation field.
The Gas Stations we have configured have this mask: XNN, in which X: is a letter which stands for the company, for example "A" and a number NN for the GasStation belonging to the company in which we will consume fuel, for example 22.
So the GasStation´s name is "A22".
We wish to develop a field in which the user will only have to input the number (for example: "22"), and the system, depending on the company code of the equipment input in the first field, will concatenate the first letter of the company with the number input by the user.
Example:
1.User inputs Equipment that belongs to company "A". <<Enter>>
(System reads Equipment company code, in this case "A")
2.User only inputs "22".
(System concatenates A+22 internally for the GasStation entry)
3.User goes into the next screen to fuel an equipment with the A22 GasStation.
We are trying to find a field/user exit that will do this concatenation internally in the first screen.
I hope I gave you a good idea of what we ´re trying to do.

Problem in executing TCode IFCU

Hi Experts,
i am facing a problem in TCode IFCU,
i've done all required customization for the same,after entering a value on IFCU screen,
when i give save option, system flashed below mwntioned mesaage,
please suggest the solution,
Unit of measure L is not convertible to stockkeeping unit EA
Message no. M7026
Diagnosis
An error has occurred during conversion of the quantity into the various units of measure ( stockkeeping unit/alternative units).
System Response
The system cannot post the document.
Procedure
Contact your system administrator.

yes sir problem was there in setting , Assign Auxiliary Materials and Consumables,for other material check was put in default check box was ticked for which UOM was EA,
but now other error message apperas as mentioned below,
Fld selectn for mvmt type 261 / acct 400050 differs for Cost center (010)

Comparison of the field selection strings from movement type 261 and G/L account 400050 has revealed that there is an incompatible field selection combination at one or more points.
Field for which the field selection is different: Cost center
Example
On the movement type screen, a given field is a mandatory-entry field, whereas on the G/L account screen, the same field is suppressed.
System Response
You cannot post this transaction, unless you have changed the field selection adequately.
Procedure
Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check whether any postings resulting from this movement type are to be made to the G/L account determined automatically. If you find that the G/L account is not correct, check the automatic account determination in the Customizing system for valuation.
Proceed
If the G/L account is correct, use the report RM07CUFA to compare the field selection for the movement type with the field selection for the G/L account and change the incorrect settings or the field status group of the G/L account.

Is it possible to do a BDC for transaction IFCU.IF not is there a Bapi to put the measurment documents for an equipment

        I had customized the settings for fleet management
       When i entering into IFCU i am not able to enter the consumed quantity as it is in a display mode. No measurings points found eventhough i had created for that equipment

Hi Nagaraju
Did you used the same measuring positions which you have defined for fuel counter and Distance related counter's. If not then system will not recognise the measuring points.
In Customizing          -    Define special measurement positions for Fleet Objects (counter purpose)
         DISTANCE - consump relevant distance counter
         FUEL         - Primary fuel counter
         TIME          - consump relevant time counter
where the same should be used? In creating measuring points ? Could you please explain it ?

Message "Enter Batch" in Fuel Consumption-Measurement Transaction (IFCU)

Dear Expert,
Lately I activate EA-PLM ECC extention in my sandbox to simulate IFCU transaction for entry Fuel Consumption. After all config is being done, in IFCU transaction there still problem, It rise a pop-up to "Enter Batch" when saving this transaction. Indeed We are using Batch Management for our Fuel material, but where we can input this batch parameter in IFCU transaction ?

I don't think batch managed materials are supported for this transaction.You may have to develop your own transaction by copying the same and adding the batch information. All you may have to do is pass the batch number to the Goods movement BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE in the program.

Error when recording measurements in IFCU

Hi
when I enter fuel reading and KM reading in IFCU i get the error "You have not recorded a primary consumption" however i have eneterd a reading in for fuel .
please can anyone assist.

for fuel have i counter purpose

In Fleet Consumtion Calulation Keys i have created 2 for now

Fleet Equipment-IFCU-Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 201

Hi Experts,
When I am trying to post the movement of consumed Fuel & Distance by IFCU,the error comes 'Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 201'.

Diagnosis
You have entered a movement type that has not been defined for this transaction/event.
Procedure
Choose another movement type.
You can choose the movement type as follows:
If you know the movement type, enter it directly in the Movement type field.
Choose the movement type via the menu option Movement type.
Choose the required movement type from the possible entries.
If you do not find a suitable movement type, exit this function and choose a different goods movement from the Inventory Management menu.
I cheked some of old post but not solved.I have also maintained IFCU in OMJJ for allowed transaction for 201 & 202 movement type but still not working.
Please suggest me.

IFCU Transaction Error

Hello experts!
The IFCU transaction is composed of two screens visible to the user. The first one is where you input the equipment that will consume and the GasStation where the fuel will be moved from stock. The second screen displays the equipment and the equipment selected with the fields to fill out the values.
If the user made a mistake in the first screen selecting the equipment/gasstation when pressing the "back" green arrow, he is taken back to the start SAP Easy Access screen, when he should be taken back to screen 1.
We have identified where we would change this in the standard program, however we are not aware if it is made like this for a reason.
Is there a reason the transaction acts like this?

This is not a Error...
This is the normal functionally of SAP...
Check in TCODE : CL02 ( Go to SAP Menu)
Check in TCODE : IE02 ( GO to Initial Screen)
Certain TCODES Sap has given a functionally to go to the first screen.. and in some go to SAP menu

IFCU material documents MSEG-EQUNR field

Dear Expert,
In IFCU,material documents number generate for 201 mvnt type.Now I want to develop Z report for fuel consumption (In house and external station combine)against vehicles.In MSEG table I found the fuel qty for in house station against the material document number but the equipment field is blank. Thats why I cant able to derive the logic.Is there any other way to update the MSEG-EQUNR field against the material document number.

Mapping of Equipment (Excavator) in SAP ETM

I have a senario where ihave to map a machine (Excavator) with the following specification in SAP ETM:
1. WORKING HOURS PER SHIFT
2. ACTUAL DIESEL CONSUMPTION PER SHIFT
3. STANDERD DIESEL CONSUMPTION PER HOUR
4. STANDERD DIESEL CONSUMPTION PER SHIFT
5. DIFFERENCE IN DIESEL CONSUMPTION
6. PLANED OUT PUT PER SHIFT
7. ACTUAL OUTPUT ACHIEVED FOR SHIFT
8. DIFFERENCE IN OUTPUT
9. ENGINE OIL CHANGING DATA
10.HYDRALIC OIL CHANGING DATA
11.SPARES USED
What i have done in SAP:
1. Created a euipment by Name : Excavator.
2. Assigned the same to a Plant.
Also i am creating a Perfrmance Based Euipment Document for the Excavator to use it on a Project (Project Name: Construction of Road)
With this i am able to track the actual work hours spent by the excavator on the road project.
Now i am not knowing how to go about to key in or capture the above stated rest of details on equipment.
Can any one throw me some light on how to proceed further.

1. WORKING HOURS PER SHIFT - Create Measuring Point either one or based on Shift, create the Measurement Document manually or through Production confirmation. So that, if you want to see based on Shift, based on Measuring point, report can be viewed. If you want to see all together, based on equipment, report can be viewed.
Where should i create a Mesuring point ? Is it on the Euipment or an individual one? *
2. ACTUAL DIESEL CONSUMPTION PER SHIFT - Create the Equipment as Fleet & Do IFCU activity (Material Consumption). If you create the Measuring Point based on shift, based on that Measurement document can be created.
I have created a euipment "ZEXCAVATOR" and created a mesuring point "Diesel Consumption" and assigned a characteristic to it and also was trying to creat a mesuring document but i got a greyed out screen where i was unable to input anyting.*
6. PLANED OUT PUT PER SHIFT - What kind of information to be captured?
Here we want to capture the planned out i.e. If excavator is working in a shift, we plan that in 8 hrs , the excavator has to excavate 100 cubic meters of earth. *
7. ACTUAL OUTPUT ACHIEVED FOR SHIFT - What kind of information to be captured?
Here we want to capture , the actual output of excavator, like we used excavator for one shift and the out put is only 50 cubic meters *
8. DIFFERENCE IN OUTPUT - What kind of information to be captured?
Difference of 7 and 8 gives this *

Cost per mile report

Hi
I am new to the logistics module and have just started learning the PM and CS modules. I was just trying to figure out a query raied by one of the clients regarding a report which will generate the "cost per mile".
Actually the client wants to calculate the cost incurred on the fuel used to run their vehicles. These are fueled from a particular fueling station and the client wants to do a feasibility check on the cost incurred on running the vehicles.
Kindly help me with this. The client is actually looking for a standard SAP report for cost per mile.

Cost Per hour, Costs per route not updating in S114 structure

Dear PM Guru's,
i am using MET unit system for vehicle consumption analysis. After completion of measurement documents and material issuance through IFCU, i checked the MCIZ report , but there i could not find the value of Costs per Hour, Costs per route information. I am requesting you all please guide me where i did the mistake either in "Configure measurement document updation" or calculation method?

Its not possible to give any specific section where it might have gone wrong. Suggest you to check the complete configuration under Settings for Fleet Management. Also check the configuration in IMG - PM & CS - Information Systems - Configure Measurement document update

Standard Structure Not Updating (S114) Fleet Management

Hi...
We are implmenting the Fleet Management . I did the following configuration setting
1) Created view profile and assign with fleet object type.
2) Define the Consuamable type, Engine Type .
3) Setting done for unit of measurement for monitoring of consumption.
4) Dfined special measuring position for fleet objects.
5) Defined calculation method for fleet consumption methods.
6) Created gas station locatin.
7) Setting done for consumption relevent counter reading update.
After that I have created fleet as a equipment. After that I am posting the fuel in IFCU transaction. Now I am facing one problem that distance data is updating in MCIZ transaction but Fuel Volume data is not updating in the MCIZ report. In the PMIS stting, the key figure "IAMENFLVOL" reference indicator is "A" (Key Figure to be updated).
Can anybody help me to solve this problem
