IFill Program - where are my songs on IPod

I'm trying out Ifill.... over a thousand radio stations. I can download from a station.
I can't find the radio download on my Ipod and I have the consistent message "do not disconnect". I know that the songs are there somewhere because in Ifill this is a choice to show the content that has been downloaded to the Ipod and the songs were there somewhere.

Veyr vague.
They belong in the music app.
Perhaps if you were to explain your issue, then you would get more assistance.

  • New computer where are my songs?

I have a new computer but when l sign into itunes my songs are not there??  Where are my song?

They are wherever you put them.
Did you copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one?

  • Sync done, iPod update is complete: Where are my songs and videos?

So there is my problem... I have 35 songs in my iTunes music library. When I plug in my iPod to sync the music, it starts syncing, then says its completed and it's ok to disconnect.... yet there are no songs in my iPod. I have to sync and desync about 10 times before it does work... each time I want to put a new song or whatever. I turned back the iPod, tried with a new one, same problem. Reinstalled the latest version of iTunes, same problem. Tried another USB port, same problem.
Anyone got an answer to my question? Would be really helpful.

  • Where are my songs and why won't my iPod turn on?!

    I have two questions.
First, my apple ID has been the same since I was in college.  HOwever, the computer I used in college that had my 2000plus songs on it has died.  Why are my songs not in my iTunes when I log in under my same ID and how can I get them?
Second, my iPod will not turn on or even be awknowledged by iTUnes when I plug it in. It will start with the apple sign but then go to a sad robot iPod that says "apple.com/support/ipod" which I have been to and the tips didn't work.  Keep in mind I have a very old version on my iPod because before my computer died, it lost the ablility to connect to the internet.
    Please help!

Why are my songs not in my iTunes when I log in under my same ID and how can I get them?
Why would they be?  You didn't back them up anywhere and iTunes does automatically redownload them to new library once you have authorized it.  You can redownload most iTunes purchases again at no cost using the instructions in this article.

As for the error message on your iPod, it sounds like it's hard drive is dying.  See this Apple support document for more information.

  • Does Apple support a program where you can trade you iPod for cash or for the newer iPod?

I really want the new ipod once it come out, just wndering!!

Only Apple program is one where you can trade your iPod for 10% off a new one.
If your iPod is relatively new and good condition, you would probably get more than this by selling it.
However if your iPod is completely smashed up, they will still give you the 10% off.

  • Mozaic: where are the songs?

I have a brand new Zen Mozaic. I have the latest firmware: .06.0_.03.04. My operating system is Windows Vista, 64 bit.
I loaded many songs onto the MP3 player from my computer, and they are on the player. The player displays the songs and can play them. For the first few days, when I hooked the player up to my computer, the computer recognized the songs on it and was able to synch with the player.
But just today, my computer recognizes that the player is plugged in, recognizes that there's about 8 gigs of stuff on it, but claims there's nothing on there! It says that there are 0 songs, 0 artists, 0 genres, etc. when I open up Windows Media Player, Creative Centrale, and Windows Explorer. All the folders are empty. I loaded a small playlist on the player, and it shows that, but nothing else. I tried restarting my computer, unplugging and replugging in the player, and no luck.
    HELP!!

    Hello Jenjab77,
    Welcome to Creative forums!
If the reset doesn't work, try booting the player from the recovery mode and select Clean Up->Reboot.
    Turn off your player.
    Press and hold .
Continue to hold until you perform the 3rd Step. If you accidentally release the button, start the procedure again by turning the player off normally. If the player freezes, press the reset button on the player to turn it OFF.
Slide the On/Off/Lock switch towards and hold until the display lights up. The Recovery Mode screen appears, and four menu items are shown: Clean Up, Format All, Reload Firmware and Reboot.
I suggest using only one program to transfer files. Sometimes, using one or more programs caused problems like files not showing up. Hope this helps.

  • Can't deauthorize old comp. where are my songs!!!!!

I got a new comp. and can't deauthorize my old one. all my songs are in the old one and the new iTunes won't let me transfer my songs to the new computer. I get an error when trying to deauthorize the old one... Error 44134. CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Connect your iPod to your computer. When you get the message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

    YamiPod Mac and Windows
    Music Rescue Mac & Windows
    iPodCopy Mac and Windows
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
The transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod to a computer
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

  • Where are my songs?

Where on my Windows XP computer's hard drive does itunes hide my music? I want to find it to use with a computer game (on the Sims 2 you can use your own music and place in in a special file, then the game will use your music for the "Sims'" 'radio'...)
    HELP!

Use the instructions in this article to locate the song; if a song has been purchased from the iTunes Store, it may not work in The Sims.

  • Playlists Where are my songs

Hi everyone, new to the I Phone, and ITunes.
I have made playlists on I Tunes and checked Sync Playlist and checked all the lists I want on my phone and synced them.
But some of the playlists on my phone are empty and some are fine, all the songs are on the Songs list but not in the playlists like they are on I Tunes, am I missing something in the setting or on I Tunes, thanks for your help in advance.
    Bobby

    yes ignore my last message
i tunes gets confused with playlists made in  other software,  i wouldnt of thought it would get confused with lists it made  itself.
if you open the list in note pad, you might see something common to the songs that are not in the phone and maybe modify them or delete them,
then save the m3u, and import it
    cheers

  • Where are my songs/playlists?

I recently bought a Mac Air and had my old Mac Itunes, documents etc. transferred to my new Mac. I can't find my songs or playlists, just a "quick look" which plays a snippet. My account shows that I have purchased the songs. By fluke, I did find them one time, but can't find them now. It' like I can't get out of the Itunes store. Thank you for any help you will share.

Ok if you are still in the iTunes Store there is a button at the top right "Library" will take you back to your local machine.
    Alternatively if you  click
View > Show Sidebar your library and playlists will always be visible in the left hand panel as per itunes 10

  • On the iPhone 4: where are the song times within an album in iTunes Store?

Has anyone noticed that song time (or track time) has been omitted from the view of album contents in the iTunes Store on the iPhone 4?  If one takes an iPhone 3 running ios 3.1.3 and looks up an album in the iTunes Store and checks the songs listed within the album, the time of each song is shown in light gray before the buy/price button.  However, if the same procedure is done with an iPhone 4, the time of each song within the album is missing!  (Search an album on each phone—such as the Beatles’ Revolver—see the list of songs included and observe the difference.)  Since it has nothing to do with the iTunes Store itself, why is this?  In my internet search, I have not found a comment about this curious omission of important information—the length of a song (certainly useful before one buys a song from an album or if one compares various versions of the same musical composition by different artists).  Because song time is available in iTunes online by using a computer, why not show this on the current iPhone 4 since it can be seen on an iPhone 3 that still uses ios 3.1.3?

You can't on your phone, you can only gift the album - you will need to use your computer's iTunes

  • I updated to the most recent itunes and now most of my songs are unfindable! Where are my song files?

I now have a library of downloaded, purchased and loaded songs with exclamation points next to them. Surely, I couldn't have lost over 300 songs! I have not changed computers just upgraded. Why can't I access these songs?

Apple's official advice on duplicates is here... HT2905: How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created.  If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning
to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.
