Ignore this: Problems adding a WMS Map
I've recently run into an issue of adding a layer from a subscription imaging service. I use the addWMSMapTheme() method that is provided by mapviewer. I have turned on the logging to the finest detail so I can see that the MapViewer is sonstructing a request that is lacking the &STYLES= parameter because we are not specifying a parameter for this layer. The issue happens because the service that I am using apparently requires the &STYLES= to be there regardless of whether there is an actual style being specified or not.
Has anyone else run into this being an issue? Is there a work around I should be looking around?
We are using MapViewer 10.1.3.1
Added a VSP with Styles, "" and that did the trick

Hello! I can't answer the invalid argument question but try this with disk utility...with disk utility open arrange the window so you can see the icon for the hard drive...then try erasing it...watch as you click erase and see if the message box doesn't come up again that it can't unmount the drive...at this point usually the drive did actually unmount and clicking again on erase will erase the drive. On my iPad 2 I can nolonger view maps. It says there are JavaScript errors. How can I fix this problem?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -
hello apple guys, after installing OS X Mavericks, i can't open app store, reminders, contacts, mail(crash), maps, Image Capture, and other apps that comes with Mavericks OS, how i can solve this problem?
So is this the way Apple works now? Not solving customers problems? I'm sure so many users have had this problem. I've had, and I reinstalled Mavericks 3 times. Works fine for some days and then several Apple Apps stop working. Is that a way to force us ti update to Yosemite? (I don't want to) and then pay to update some third party programs (i.e. Pro Tools). Also, there are so many 15" MacBooks Pro with graphic problems and of course the guys at the Apple Service Centers always say: "It's the logic board, you can have it replaced, but it's so expensive I would recommend a new Mac". I really, really miss Steve Jobs!

Why I can't open google maps on Safari? Everything have been working normally with my computer. But this problem with google maps I can't fix
Do you have an example? I develop Google maps for Web pages and haven't had problem with Safari and its extensions, only FF which I took out all the addons and plug-ins, but it wouldn't surprise if the Google map code doesn't display the map or information for the map or doesn't work with newer versions of Safari.

I have a iMac OS X. I added it to a pc home network. On the network I have a Canon MP810 printer. I can print a test page on the printer sent from the iMac, but that is the only thing that can be printed from the iMac. What do I need to do the solve this problem?

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -
I just added two external firewire drives and they keep going to sleep. I did not have this problem when using USB external drives. I have turned off "put disks to sleep" in power preference.
It is not clear if these are the same drives, just connected
differently, or different drives?
One thing that may be happening is that the drives firmware
itself is putting it to sleep when inactive. Many drives on
the market have ths feature and it is turned on by default
and require a drive utility from the manufacturer to disable it. -
purchased new songs from itunes and when I clicked on the Sync button those new songs are not added to my ipod nano. Have any idea how to resolve this problem?

When I download music into Itunes on my PC, every song is transferred into a specific playlist. Twice now when I have opened up Itunes, all the recent songs that have been moved into playlists have been deleted by Itunes. I now have to go back and figure out which songs are missing and re-add them. It is driving me crazy. I have 10,000 songs and now have no idea which ones are missing and which ones have been retained.

It sounds like songs are missing from iTunes on your PC, and need to be re-added. I know that can be a frustrating situation.

When I open Firefox, I automatically have one tab. The plus sign button to add more tabs is next to the one tab, but it no longer adds tabs when I click on it. The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I'm trying to sync bookmarks from our laptop to our desktop computer. The laptop is running Firefox 16.0.2 and the desktop has version 3.6.8. On the desktop, under "Tools, Options" there is no selection for "Sync". The desktop is running Windows XP Media Center Edition.
I did try to download a patch from your site, but the download website is no longer working. Is there some other patch you can offer to solve this problem? Can I upgrade the desktop to a newer Firefox version?The old Firefox Sync extension for older Firefox versions was discontinued by Mozilla over a year ago. Update Firefox.

Two days ago my iPad 3 and IPad 2 started to crash very unexpectedly. Both iPads have wifi and cellular and both are running iOS 7.0.2. I will be working and suddenly the screen just wipes to black and then the big white Apple appears as if I have done a hard reset. The iPads always come back, but the crashes and unexpected app closures are happening with greater frequency. It happens more with the iPad 3 than with the iPad 2. Until two day ago both iPads had been very stable. I don't keep a lot of apps open and I have plenty of GB of free space. I do hard resets after each event, doesn't help the situation. Did Apple do some kind of update to the OS in the last few days? I was just getting used to the new OS and this is very frustrating. Anyone else having this problem, have a possible answer or solution? Thanks for your help.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
