IGo charger tip for HP 15

I have an iGo universal charger I bought recently as a spare in case of something happening to the factory charger. I noticed none of the tips worked. Is there a tip for the iGo I have that will fit my PC? If there is, I just need the tip # for it.

Yes there is only the dv6700z (AMD) and dv6700t (Intel) and they use the same power supply.

Guys, i am actually trying using a solution provided by the article shared by dominic23,
It says "Another option is to get an ionizer to help the atmosphere in the workplace be more conductive and pull charges away from contact surfaces, including yourself."
So in my home, we have such device that could clean the air using ion, and i am using it in my room...
Result: BANG!!! The electric shock on my macbook has gone!! I don't really care about physics but somehow it works! You guys should give it a try.
    Thanks again dominic23

  • Charing iPod with iGo charger

So I got the generic USB tip for the iGo charger. This is just a USB power port. I use a mini dock on my iPod to get line out while I'm in my car, and it has a USB in for charging. However, when I connect the USB it does not charge. Does anyone know how I can get line out AND charge my iPod?

In the computer does not have iTunes installed it can't sync to it. You can manage music on multiple computers but not sync everything to more than one computer. See:

  • What's a good Charging Habit for my iPad 3?

I need a good habit for charging my new iPad since the battery drains quickly. Can you help me out? Thanks!

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

  • Spare tips for Lenovo 90W AC/DC Combo Adapter

Just got the Combo Adapter, and wanted to order a spare tip to charge my Motorola cell phone with it. Dumb question - will the spare tip plug into the power cord of the adapter, or do you have to use the dual-charge cable for the tip to work? I rarely charge two items at once, and would prefer to not travel with an extra cord.

yes it works with the T510.

  • Tips for best batt life?

I've got a new MacBook and want to avoid whatever mistakes I've made in the past to deplete my battery life long-term. I've read Apple's page on keeping the battery in good shape, but is it best to let the battery FULLY discharge and FULLY charge (top it off) all the time? And is it bad to keep it plugged in while using, even if it's got a full charge already? What about keeping it plugged in when not in use?
Any tips from experienced Mac people (I'm so glad to join your ranks) would be appreciated.

    HuntedMoose wrote:
Meaning that it is not bad for the battery to be charged all the time (when the AC is plugged?)
If you use your battery even for 10 minutes you should charge it when you can. Li-ion Batteries work best with small charges over big ones. Do not use your battery then use it again and again till the battery gets low enough to shut off. I am not talking about where you have no choice. I am saying don't deplete your battery on purpose before you charge.
A charge cycle is a full discharge and full charge. It is best if done in small doses.
+Example. You use 25% of the battery and then recharge. You have used 1/4th of a cycle. Doing this 4 times an you have a full cycle. This is better for the chemistry that using it for 25% and then letting it sit till the next day and using it for the rest of the use then charging it.+
Below is what I like to give new users for battery care. I use my battery in this way and after six months have 14 cycles on this battery. I get between 3 and 4 hours of use with it and have everything turned on.
It is OK to leave your battery hooked to the charger most of the time. Most of the time I only unhook mine from the charger is when I calibrate. Have you calibrated your battery yet? You should calibrate every two months or so to keep the battery fully functioning. If you use your MacBook infrequently, it’s best to re-calibrate the battery at least once a month.

  • TIPS For New Users (maybe some old users too)

Tips for the new user. Most new Iphone users will be limited to 200 messages per month unless you opt to pay for more. If you find this is not enough and you would like unlimited FREE to SEND messages, check this out. Create a new address in your contact list using their cell phone number plus @teleflip.com. Example [email protected] Now send all the E-MAIL messages you want (e-mail is unlimited on Iphone) to this new address and the message will be delivered into their message box within seconds and it is FREE. The receiver will be charged as receiving one message but you will be charged with nothing.
Looking for free hot spots for faster Internet connections in your area. Check out the web site jiwire.com. This information is also free.
When typing in text in just about any application in Iphone, there is NO scrolling back to correct errors that you did not catch on the fly without deleting text. TIP: Place your finger on the cursor in the text screen and hold it. A small magnified spot will open with a cursor. Drag and drop the cursor to where ever you want to start your edit.
If you are not familiar with POD CAST, you are missing a free treasure of information and entertainment. In ITunes, click on the ITunes Store. Then on the left side of the newly opened window, click on POD CAST. Here you will find many FREE POD CAST that you can subscribe to. There are also other sources for POD CAST but this is the easiest to get started on. Once you subscribe to a POD CAST, you can always cancel if you find it is not to your liking. Your selection will be downloaded to ITunes and then to your IPhone the next time you sync. I find these to be very informative and entertaining when I am waiting for the wife while she is shopping or killing time waiting for my next flight out. They can also be viewed while flying because they are already on your Iphone.

  • Lenovo Slim Power Adaptor and Targus/iGo Power Tips

I noticed that the Targus and iGo power tips are the same.  From pictures, I can not say the same is true with the Lenovo power tips.  Would Targus/iGo power tips work on the Lenovo Slim Power Adaptor?  There's a power tip that I need for my Jabra BT135 (micro-USB I think) which isn't supported by Lenovo.  Also, the Targus/iGo tip for my Motorola Q (mini-USB) can be found for less than the Lenovo.

What you'll probably find is that the malfunctioning battery is causing your issue. I would simply contact AppleCare, else a reseller, and arrange for a replacement ASAP.
One thing you can do in the meantime is to find a reseller that will allow to use one of their batteries (if you can't otherwise get it booted) to start your MBP and then put it to sleep. Once booted it should be ok to run off the power adapter alone.

  • Problem with igo charger on new 80 GB Classic

Just recently purchased a new 80 GB classic (upgraded from an old 20 GB clickwheel model). I had been successfully using an igo charger with tip #61 on the old 20 GB, but with the new 80 GB when I plug the igo charger w/Tip 61 into it, it briefly 'turns on' with the display, but does not indicate it is charging. I called igo and they said I needed a REV 4 #61 tip, sent that to me but it still has the same problem.. Apple has said they did change the charging circuit to the new 80 GB. My apple charger works fine, and my old desktop speaker unit also continues to charge. Only the igo does not work (I have multiple wall chargers/car chargers from igo and none of these will work with the new 80 GB classic). I travel a lot and love just bringing one small charger and multiple tips to charge the ipod/cell phone & PDA.
Anybody having the same issue and gotten around it?

What you're seeing is a problem with the Classics -- the scrolling is much less responsive than prior generations of iPods. Because of the lower sensitivity, you have a hard time scrolling fast enough to see the letters come up. They can if you really try at it, but it's not so easy. This is the only disappointment I have with my Classic.
ps Your 60GB is actually a 5th gen, not Classic.
