Igoogle will not restore no matter what I do
I have used absolutley every instruction for restoring iGoogle which disappeared yesterday. It can be loaded on my android phone so I know it still exists however, it will not restore as my home page on desktop. I tried being signed in to Google and being signed out. I type http://www.google.com/ig into home page in Firefox options and it goes back to Google Classic. If I type http://www.google.com/ig into browser I get classic.

That's a really odd behavior. iGoogle shows up just fine for me, but it is supposed to be shut down on November 1st by Google.
Maybe you have an Add-on installed that redirects you to the standard Google page whenever you type google.com in the address field. Unfortunately there are some rather nasty add-ons that might try that.
You can either have a look into the add-ons list [[Disable or remove Add-ons|and disable any add-on that might do that]], or you can simply reset Firefox.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I have a macbook pro 10.8.5 and the Application Safari will not open no matter what i do, I try to open the menu of Safari but it won't let me either, the mouse will just be loading. Tried to upgrade to osx 10.9 from 10.7 and I didn't notice that it downloads in the launcher. I turned my mac off and ever since then it has glitched out and will not download no matter what I do. I have had it for 3 years which is out of warranty. It now has a blank bar under the launch pad and no matter how many times I try re-downloading it or restarting my computer it does not work. I use too play starcraft and other games on this computer although new patched/updates have made it that I can no longer do that now. Really frustrating having to deal with this especially after buying this computer upfront and now out of warranty.
Go to your Applications folder and find a file called "Install OS X Mavericks". Send it to the trash and delete it. Then try the download again.

just got an Ipad and am working on setting it up. the one issue I am having with it is my screen will not rotate no matter what I do to the settings, I can't figure out if I have a setting wrong or if there really is something wrong with my Ipad. any help would be greatly appreciated.

My ipod touch will not hare no matter what and I've tried many different cables and different ways to charge it. What should I do? If I complain to the Apple store co. will they replace my ipod for free?

The update to iOS 7 is frozen at the Terms and Conditions page and will not move, no matter what I click on. I cannot access my iPad as it is frozen on this screen. How do I remedy this nightmare?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try updating the software again.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Voiceover can be disabled by quickly pressing the home button three times. Alternatively, accessibility options (such as Voiceover) can be configured via iTunes.

I have a 120gb Classic that has been working, connecting and syncing flawlessly for years. Now it appears that (maybe since an itunes update) my same Windows 7 x64 computer that has not changed other than the occasional iTunes update will not detect my iPod, and therefore will not sync any more.
The odd thing is that iTunes will sometimes see the iPod (not always), and Windows will also sometime see the iPod. Even when it does, and I click to sync a podcast (or anything else) it appears to go through the #1 and #2 steps and says it is syncing - Do not unplug, then appears to finish, but when you check the ipod after ejecting, nothing has changed. It looks like this has been happening for about a week, but my wife must not have realized that songs and other items were not actually syncing.
I have tried uninstalling iTunes, downloading the 11.2... version available online now, no help. I have tried resetting the ipod, no help. I have tried changing cables, no help. every time I go through the diagnostics in iTunes, it fails the connectivity test and says "No iPod, IPhone, or iPad found.
I am so frustrated. I have tried everything I can think of but even though iTunes shows the iPod, it wont sync....This issue has been resolved - my Support Advisor, Edgar, was able to discern what was causing the problem.
It appears that, despite years of never experiencing this, one of the latest ipod updates actually altered my device's personal settings and changed it to "Manual" for all synchronizing; even performcing Factory Restores did not change it back to being automatic.
My ipod is working as good as ever now thanks to Edgar. If anyone else is having this problem, please make sure you check your device's settings in iTunes and see if "Manual" is checked - even if you never changed the settings yourself and have no reason to suspect that to be the problem, as was the case here. If it is checked - uncheck it to enable automatic syncing.
So relieved this was not a much more serious problem. I've missed having my music on the go. Thanks, Edgar! -
"Explicit" tag will not work no matter what I do
I have done everything exactly as I was told in every tutorial that I have looked up, including the official iTunes tutorial, and yet, no matter what I do, iTunes refuses to recognize my podcast as "explicit" and instead thinks it "is clean." I do not want my podcast to be taken down for being explicit, and I do not want the unlikely scenario of a child accidentally stumbling upon it and hearing big people words, but nothing I do will put the "Explicit" tag on our page. My iPad 2 will NOT charge, no matter what!
It started about a month after the update and it is getting really annoying. Whenever it is connected (yes, it is with a genuine Apple iPad charger) the lightning bolt will not show up. However, when the ipad is turned off, if the charger is connected it will power on the iPad but just won't charge it. It would also connect to the computer so I could get a very slow charge. So I contacted Apple a few weeks ago and set up my appointment. I drove and hour and a half to my nearest apple store. When I got there they told me that there was NO problem with my battery, only my charger. I had tried using 3 different Apple chargers that were in the house. But it appeared that this was the problem because when the woman plugged in the new charger everything worked fine. I then purchased a new charger and went home. My iPad worked great for about 2 weeks and then I had the same problem again, except this time I have absolutely no way of charging it because it won't even connect to the computer. And also, I have no warranty.. I am so lost! Any suggestions on what I should do is greatly appreciated.
Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). Firefox will not load the normal way (clicking on a link or running it from Run window or even running it in safe mode). It only runs if I dig down to the installed directory, right-click firefox.exe and select "Run inside Comodo Sandbox". I have Comodo Internet Security Suite installed but this does not happen with other programs. Do send in your suggestions. Re-install did not help.

When I try to install iTunes on my Windows 7 laptop computer, it says "Error writing to file: C:\Program Files(x86)\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\pl.lproj\ViewLineItemLP.png. Verify that you have access to that directory." and will not install. I once had iTunes on this computer; but when I got my iPhone I needed to update and from then on it's been a nightmare! It would not update, and then I uninstalled it hoping to reinstall it. Well, it never reinstalled. I've tried clearing the Temp folder, uninstalling everything iTunes, and running as Admin. What else can I do?
