IH01 u0096 variant needs to be deleted to restore added button functionality
Within the PM Structure Overview transaction IH01 output screen we have added a button Create Notification, clicking this button results in a PM Notification being created for the selected technical object (tx IW26).
Many users have created default selection variant to speed up the selection process. My dilemma is that intermittently and for no identifiable reason this Create Notification is being disabled (this is not a security issue). The only way to re-enable the Create Notification button is to delete the users selection variant and recreate it.
Can anyone cast some light on why only the Create Notification button we have added to the output screen is being disabled intermittently? Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution ?

OK. Talked to Apple support. Evidently this is a reported iTunes problem. When I spoke to the tech, he said that the short-term solution was to make sure I always had more than 1 playlist "in use". Yesterday, a new version of iTunes became available - so hopefully the problem is, or will be soon, fixed.

I want to set field fiscal year for current year.
Field fiscal year have selection type = "S" and i choose selection variable. It only have Type of variable is "T"
so i go to table TVARVC and create new variable I've set value as below
Selection type S
Number 4
Selection value SY-datum
And it didn't work .
Fiscal year still dispaly "0".
any suggestion?

You can create this program using the program RSDRD_DELETE_FACTS (in SE38). You just need to provide the selections and generate the ABAP program. Ten you can use this in the process chain, with process type ABAP program.

Trying to delete the Apple Folder from Program Files/Common Files. I can delete all the contents except for the Internet Services folder which prevents me from making the deletion. The error message says "you need permission to delete this file".
Discovered this problem when trying to upgrade from my 3G iPhone to a new 5S iPhone unsucessfully.See note 3 of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

I need to recover deleted data from my iPhone 4S but don't have a recent backup. I thought by pressing sync on my macbook this would back up…but I was wrong. There are no backups on my macbook and the latest backup on iCloud was Jan 2012. My mum died in May and I had lots of text messages that I wanted to keep. I really want to get them back. Is there any way at all I can get that deleted data from the phone?
Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

I know of no way to remove encryption on iTunes backups if you've forgotton the password. If you've used the 4 digit PIN code to lock your iPhone in the past that can sometimes default as your "password" for this encryption in iTunes. Try that PIN or any PIN you've used in the past. If you don't use a lock maybe you played around with that feature once when you first got your phone....try "1,2,3,4" or anything you could have possibly tried.
As far as accessing older unencrypted backups you can try this software. I do not have any experience using it but it seems like it's what you need and is probably the easiest route for both voicemail and texts:

I know with AT&T, voicemails are only stored on their servers for 30 days so any voicemail older than that you would not have been able to access again.

Have you tried using the iCal user interface to delete all iCal data?
You can do this by creating a new calendar, and naming the calendar. Name it "Test" for example. Then delete all of the other calendars that exist in the "Calendars" sources pane.
Quit iCal, and remove the com.apple.ical.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences folder. Also remove the Calendar Cache file from the Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars folder.
Then log out/in or restart, and the only calendar remaining should be the blank "Test" calendar.

There is no formula. You need to do a small experiment with your Cube to determin this criterion. This is because the loading data to Cube not only depends on the number of records, bit other factors such as new SIDs, etc.
I would manually load the Cube with the number of recrods equal to the usual number.
Take the time.
Now, delete and create indexes in Batch Job in BW for the Cube. Again, note the total time.
If the second time is significant, dont't delete indexes, let BW manage them.
In my case, I load 2 cubes daily with same infopackage.
1 - deleted and laoded.
2 - history with deifferent level of aggregation.
No. of records = 1 mil.
Cube 1 - I delete indexes and create them.
Cube 2 - Don't delete this because this cubes keeps growing bigger and deleting and creating indexes will give diminishing returns.
FOr these bix Cubes, I do a seperate P-Chain to drop and create indexes on Sundays when no users are querying the Cubes.
Hope this will explain, but I don't have a formula.

Only by restoring your phone as a new device using iTunes, or Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You follow this by syncing your content back to the phone. Either that, or you live with it. The data will be overwritten as you use your phone.

I can access Acrobat and MS Office programs, it's just the CS3 programs that I can't access. This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

I was told by a friend of mine that all i had to do was call apple support and i would be able to re start the secruity answers.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

Need script that delete objects of certain color...
Hello. For my Hobby I would need an Illustrator script that can delete objects of a certain color on selected layer. The color can be set in a dialog like #000000 or anything alike.
I will need it to delete letters in text that has a certain color (different than letters around it). Letters to delete can be inside sentances or free. It doesn't matter if the text need to be outlined and ungrouped before run script, or not.
