please tell me where they are or what they were replaced with.

Flash Buttons (Up, Over, Down, Hit)

Recently I am feeling like an idiot in Flash with buttons! I think perhaps I am forgetting something about the up, over, down, and hit states.
What I am trying to do is to have the button color change to a different color when it is on the page. The color only changes when I roll over it or hit it.
Once I am on the page it changes back to the color it is on the up state.
Example: http://www.somethingfab.me/ (When you are on the home page the button is red, but when on the about page the home button changes to white to show hierarchy.)

Chances are those are movieclip symbols, not button symbols. You cannot force a button to stay in the over state when it is not in that state interactively. AS3 allows one to change the different state's appearances such that you could turn the up state into looking like the over state, but you end up having to juggle things and need to have a normal up state visual at the ready to restore it when the time comes... easier to just use movieclips.

I tried updating my iPod touch 4th gen and now the screen is bright blue or flashing white and black lines.ive tried the whole home and power button thing but it only brings up the apple icons then goes back to the blue or other screen.please help?

This has worked for some others.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi Teresa, you may have worked this out already? but i just downloaded Photoshop CC and I too used the recovery and fill light buttons and couldnt see them in the raw processing window... HOWEVER!! i did some research and they are available!! YAY, you can toggle between the latest and the older layout... and the recovery and fill optoins ARE there... the link explains it... but when you open some raw files... on the right you should see a little camera - camera calibration button when you click on there the first drop down PROCESS - change to 2012 mode and then click back to the BASIC processing wheel and they will be there... cheers Danni

Where is the Page History down arrow?

Where is the Page History down arrow? This should be part of the forward/back icon in the address bar. Not showing in Vista.
All I have is the Forward and Back arrows - no down arrow that would bring up recent pages in order loaded.

Hi there,
You can create a scroll motion where the image will fade out on scrolling, you need to use the Opacity tab under Scroll Effects Panel.
If you particularly need the image to be blur out, then you need to edit that image in any image editing program and make one copy of that image as blurred, then place both images (actual and blurred) on that page and use scroll motion or fade option to replace images.

Up-Over-Down-Hit states of button gone?

Hey there,
Well I've got some problems changing the Up, Over, Down and Hit state of my button. For example when I have created 4 of those states, and I just normally save my flash file, the next time I open it my states are gone but when I play my animation the button still works with the correct states (the created Up, Down, etc. states). But then again when I enter my editor to create those Up, Over, Down, and Hit states they're just missing?
Might there be a problem in the saving part or so?

in your library panel, you double click on your button symbol and your see what? nothing? the button "timeline"? something else?

The Adobe email announcing file and font sync said,

So I eagerly logged into my TypeKit account, via Creative Cloud, and when I filter down to only the fonts for desktop use, there are only 205!
So where are the other 500 fonts Adobe just advertised?

CS4 - Where is the 3D tool please?

Help Please! I am really up a creek. An employee from Adobe replied to me and sugg. I download the CS5 trial for 30 days (thru the Illustrator forum) and try that since it is a one time thing needed this a.m. for one project that needs to get out.
So I spent 3 hours doing that but when it finally got done, it said, 0 days left = expired. I've never even tried the trial version. I just don't know what to do.
Is there some way I can attach an image to show people what I am trying to do. I tried to use Illustrator and the Object>Envelope>Make with Top Object just made each part (even though all layers had been merged before bringing in... and I can't use the text option since the text was created by someone else on a PC and I don't have the text to try and recreate the whole logo)... all that did was make each part around a very tight circle and so I had a mess of circular objects radiating out from the center.
I keep trying warp but that is failing. This is a jar that is not a straight on view and I can't get to the arch part since it is greyed out and is not text. This is a jar that has a slight downward angle and so th straight logo needs to have a slight curve going downward and a slight allowance for the ends going around the jar. Is there anyone who can help me please? Even to access a trial 30 day trial to CS5 since this one is not working?? Is there any way to attach an image so I can show what I am trying to do? Where are the home, refresh and X buttons in the header

When I open my home page on the desktop, there are buttons that let me select home, refresh or X a download. I cannot find these buttons on the header or in the add-ons, etc.

On Flash Gallery, where does the Description wind up?

Lightroom 2.4. Mac OS X 10.4.11
I am using flash web templates which are based on, and similar to, the default flash gallery. The Collection Description is "Web Photo Gallery created by Adobe Lightroom." If I change that text, I see that my template name is no longer selected, indicatiing that this is in fact, a change. as I would suspect.
But where the heck is that text in the web page? I didn't see the default one, and I don't see my changed version.
In my browser, I looked at the source, and I do not see that text as a meta description either.
Where does it wind up? What is the feature for, if it creates neither visible text or meta text?

On the top left corner of the gallery page you should see an item labelled View. Click on the label to expose a context menu. The last option on the context menu is About these Photos. Clicking on this option should expose the description.

Flash 7 where are the library contents?

I am using Flash 7 and I need to free some images out of the
library for some other use. So where are those images kept because
i am not seeing how to do that with any library menus. When I try
to launch an external editor for these pictures, it says unable
because the original path from years ago is not there, as you would
expect. I do not want the original path, i want the actual photos
that are now in the actual library. Please advise, thank you

hmm, those images were removed from the hd long ago cuz i
thought they were imported into this mysterious library. I'm a
little hesitant to screen grab cuz the resolution is dependent on
the screen. I like pristine files.

DW CS4-where did the hyperlink option in the properties box go?

Long time DW user (many versions/most recently CS3) and just
recently installed DWCS4.

drag to create intra-site hyperlinks went? I no longer have it in
my properties box.

The Property inspector now has two buttons on the left: HTML
and CSS. To
create a link, you must have the HTML button selected.

I am trying to reinstall Flash CS4 professional as the action script is not working but now I am getting an error: 2 message when I use the original CD to try and reinstall

I can't get the original disk to work on a reinstall. I get the message

I teach a class using this program on Macintosh computers running 10.9.5 and the action script is not working. It will work on any program designed using the 10.8 but if you design any animation on 10.9.5 the action script will not work for the buttons

You would have to manually delete the color profiles in question... Run the cleaner tool and see if it gets you started.
