IIS 6.0 proxy on Win 2003 - "Page cannot be displayed"

Hi,
I have 2 Win 2003 Server machines with IIS 6.0. I am using the IISProxy for IIS to SAP WebAS on both IIS 6.0 setups. The same files with the same proxy configuration are being used on both the machines.
While on one setup it is working fine, on the other I am being displayed the "Page cannot be displayed" error. Note that the machine which is showing the error has SAP WebAS installed along with IIS 6.0.
I have confirmed that it isn't a browser issue either.
Strangely the proxy logs show the correct data being returned by the SAP WebAS (similar in both the IIS 6.0 setups). There are no errors anywhere (checked even the IIS logs and event viewer), but somehow the page is not being displayed.
From what I could conclude that its an IIS 6.0 or machine issue. The setup working fine has the .NET framework installed on it. Is it a requirement for the IIS proxy to work on Win 2003?
Need help.....don't have a clue.

I once faced a similar problem - I am not sure if the issues are related, but here goes :
I figured out that DAS uses mod_osso to connect to the SSO Server. I hadn't configured mod_osso to correctly talk to the SSO Server. I used the ssoreg.sh script in the $ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin to make the mod_osso " talk " to the SSO Server.
After this, the DAS started working properly.
BTW, what's your AS instance version ?

"Page cannot be displayed" when opening DatabaseControl in Oracle 11g

Hi,
This is a new installation of Oracle 11.2.0.3 on Win 2003 32bit. The install was successful (at least no errors) but I am having a problem with Enterprise Manager. When I go to the web page (https://servername:1158/em) then I receive the error "Page cannot be displayed"
I get this whether I use the servername/localhost/IP in the url.
I ran emctl status dbconsole and it indicated that the service was up and running.
Also tried starting the service through cmd prompt rather than services window and this also shows the service starting up correctly.
I can connect without issue through SQLPLus too.
I would appreciate any guidance on what else to try and what logs to check in order to determine why this is happening.

Page cannot be displayed error when executing WAD

Hi all,
I'm getting this error (Page cannot be displayed) when i execute my WAD. What is curious is that i can execute it ok i some machines, but some others get the error.
Anyone knows what could be causing this?
I've tried in different machines, all with Win XP sp2 and IE6 browser... and remains the same: some execute the WAD ok, some don't.
I'll appreciate any help on this.

I had the same error and was a PROXY problem....
I fix it setting in IE connetions the access to HTTP://MYSERVER/...ETC....in LAN Configuration->advanced options in IE....it works fine for me....

Problem explanation
one of our branch which is connected via leased line is unable to run some of the reports if the report have a little more
data,
one report i tried its size is almost 900k ( they are using the same line since last three month and they are
able to run all reports before, bandwidth is 128k), if you run report browser search a little while
for output then displayed "The page cannot be displayed" if you look at the report log it's finished successfully.
I try to download the report rather opening in browser it reach to end of in downloading window at the end it display
this message
Internet explorer can not download getjobidxxx.xls from oracleaps.domain.com
The connection with the server was reset.
I want to mention one more thing there is a ISA server and firewall in between client and Server but its the same condition
for
head office client but they are able to run all report with out any error.

Webcache KeepAlive timeout is reached. (The default value for KeepAlive timeout is 5 seconds)
Increase the Keepalive time in webcache to a higher value

What are precautions to be take for uploading a huge file
I have an upload file operation in the web application. The web server is OC4J.

I have a similar time out problem, it ll be great if some one provide a solution.
The problem I'm facing is becasue of the time out setting in the proxy server which is 1.5 mins. The app server is sending Response properly but after some 2 mins or so because the processing is a bit complicated (3 API calls done intermittently for different validations).
I cant request for change in proxy server time out setting. So I have to handle this with in my application.
It will be greatful if anyone helps us out of this.

SharePoint 2007 custom (VS 2008) solution is upgraded to SharePoint 2013 using (VS 2012). I followed this approach.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error after you re-built a SharePoint 2007 solution with VS2012, and deployed it.
Make sure the Namespace and Type Name are consistent across all files where indicated. Also with matching case sensitivity. Verify web.config file and assembly in GAC or virtual directory bin folder in post deployment.

From troubleShooting Guide found that these services should be running
Check that the CRSJavaAdmin.exe is running (in Windows Task Manager).

Can anyone tell me How to run CRSJavaAdmin.exe ??

CRSJavaAdmin.exe is controlled by UCCX node manage servicer, Can you go to the serviceability tool (start - programs - Cisco unified CCX administrator - Cisco Unified CCX serviceability ) and in process ACtivation tab make sure all the services aren enabled specialy "cisco unified CCX administrator" if not enable it and restart the node manager service from the services menu

Check Your internet Explorer connection settings Internet Option->Connection->LAN settings.
Try playing around with it. We had the same problem in the past.

Page cannot be displayed - error when a view is created

Hi all,
I am new to webdynpro. I am trying to craete a webdynpro application. when a view is created i am not getting the login popup and the layout shows "Page cannot be displayed". I am connected through the router string. The same when i try in the local system i am able to view the layout. The services are activated in sicf.
Pls guide me to resolve this issue. Is it neccessary that the host name has to be added in my machine also? Because the host is added in the server machine.

Try following thing:
Make sure that proxy settings are up to date, for this
i) Get the link of application
ii) Copy the part till .com e.g. abc.def.com
iii) Open internet explorer
iv) Goto Tools-> Internet Options-> Connections-> LAN Settings-> Advanced->
v) Add link of application in 'Exceptions' part as *.def.com

"The Page Cannot Be Displayed" error when clicking the Remote Agent

Hi everyone! We have installed ACS SE 4.0 and we have added a remote agent running on Windows Server 2003. Recently, we are encountering "The page cannot be displayed" error when we click the RA under a network device group. This is resolved by rebooting the ACS SE appliance and accessing the ACS SE web console again but after few hours, problem reoccurs. Clicking the links on the ACS SE web console is okay at first but after clicking the RA, every link shows the error "The page cannot be displayed." Hope you could help us on this problem. Anyone's support is very much appreciated.

I have been engaged on DBACOCKPIT for a while now . I was able to access the page throughout using a local network.
When I started using the Router string for accessing SAP . I am not able to access DBACOCKPIT. IT displays Page cannot be displayed
I have tried to add the HOST ID of the system in system32/drivers/etc/host location. Still I am not able to access it.
Is there any way to access DBACOCKPIT without a VPN or accessing local network. If not , Can you please explain how DBACOCKPIT connection works. I am just looking for a logical explanation , As of now, I am now taking remote sessions of servers (using a Citrix VPN) and through which I am able to access DBACOCKPIT. Problem is that it calls for DBACOCKPIT even when i use db16cold tcode.

First of all let me know whether you are having registered domain or not ?, Because If it is Registered domain, if you maintain IP table for the particular server in proxy server then it will be accessible.
If it is not Registered domain ,If you maintain the IP table in proxy server ,You should maintain your public IP in host file(C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) in your desktop/laptop.
For example your public IP address is 59.99.233.46 and port number for your PRD server is 8000(I hope you configured a specific port for the server in Instance profile with parameter name icm/server_port_0) then maintain host entry like
58.96.233.48 SID.domain.com
for other servers also same SID is different.
58.96.233.48 SDI2.domain.com

I am using SQL Server 2008 with SP3. When i open my open my reporting manager URL. i get the error as "This page cannot be displayed" HTTP Error 500 internal server error. I read few blogs posted below. Tried both but could not help me out

In case If you rebuilt the server then then linking will break , go in encryption keys option if only delete button is enabled, and backup button is disabled the delete the keys .close the report configuration manager and reopen the manager .Now try
to open report manager url.

"XML page cannot be displayed" error

Using XML output on a table with more than a few rows falls over with a "XML page cannot be displayed" error. Sometimes only the error is displayed, sometimes some rows are displayed with this error at the end of the page (eg the DEMO_STATES table)
Can anyone advise if there is some sort of limiter at work here?

i'm pretty sure that error comes up when your browser (ie, specifically, i believe) can't render the xml data it's received. i'm also pretty sure, as the full message implies, it's because it doesn't know what style sheet to use when you go to that page. in short, it's a browser config issue. one way to bypass it (to at least prove that it's a browser issue) would be to create a link to your page, right click the link, and do a "Save Target As...". the resulting file will be your valid XML one. fwiw, i've had better luck controlling the manner in which my xml data is received when i use mozilla or netscape (but i'd imagine there's just some setting you'd toggle in IE to avoid your issue).
