IIS FTP Live monitor with Resource Monitor or Performance Monitor

Hi
I am looking for a way to use "Performance/ Monitor" or "Resource Monitor" to monitor live connections and sent/received kb, and so far i only get data when starting the collector for then to view the report.
It is not the way i want it, i would like to view live connection and speed, byte and well the relevant data for an FTP site?
any input on this?

Hi stealth,
Maybe you can get further assistance from scripting guys forum :

I just find the blog regarding cpu usage via vb script:

  • How would I monitor with FIREPOD and not software monitoring?

    Sound confusing?
OK I'm using a Firepod. If I disable software monitoring (to reduce latency) how do I monitor through the Firepod? I lost the manual so that's why I'm asking here.

If you are trying to monitor the Firepod w/ no Latency, simply turn the input/playback knob either to the middle (to hear already recorded tracks + your input) or hard left for input only. Arm the track in Logic, then use the headphone jack or listen through your monitors.
This should give you latency free monitoring with no problems. I do this all the time after tracking w/ a board for seperate monitor mixes, since the firepod doesn't support that.

  • External monitor with MBP. Non Apple monitor

Am about to purchase a new MBP and I believe I will be able to get a new Dell 24" monitor.
question, I have read that many monitors periodically require Firmware upgrade to work at their best.
For instance, there is a new update for the line of Dell monitors in which I am interested,. However, the firmware update (software) is only available in a ".exe" version which is Windows software,.
How do Mac folks upgrade their non -Apple monitors? I know plenty of y'all use third party monitors.
any tips on installing/using a third party monitor with MacBookPro will be will be appreciated, as well.

your reply is very reassuring- I am going to purchase an external monitor for both my new MBPro and the current Macbook which I own.
Lots of posts here assure me that using third party monitors can be done without too much hassled. (I just can't afford the Apple monitors otherwise would purchase)
My concern came from stuff I have read (CNET) and In Dell forums where Dell concedes that the line of monitors I am considering DO have some difficulty with "banding" (Dell was getting numerous troubleshooting calls and exchanging monitors).Apparently the new Firmware, just published, fixes the problem.
I guess I can run the firmware once I have Windows running (Parallels) in my new MacBookPro. And maybe companies will start releasing their software in Mac-usable format now that so many more Macs (especially laptops) are being sold.
    Thank

  • System variables cannot be monitored with National Instruments Published Variable Monitor

    Hi everyone !
Currentlty I´m facing a problem with shared variables libraries.
All shared variables libraries used in my application are set to autodeploy with Autodeploy Variables in the Project Explorer Window; when the application starts a window is shown - Deploy ... - that shows the deployment progress and by selecting Close on successful completion this window is closed automatically and that is exactly what happens in my application, but when my application starts to read  shared variables bound to daqmx virtual channels  an error occurred -  code: -1950679034; source: ni_tagger_lv_Read; possible reason(s):  The shared variable has no value.
After that I decided to open the National Instruments Published Variable Monitor to check if my application libraries were really deployed and I found that every shared variable which wasn´t bound to a daqmx channel was working perfectly but those that were bound to a daqmx channel weren´t - their qualities were Stale No Value. When this happenned I immediatly thought it could be some problem occurring with the binding process, then I decided to also monitor the global virtual channels to which my shared variables were supposedly  bound and I found that their qualities were Stale. I don´t know what else I can do, can anyone help me with this?
My applications runs on a PXI 8186 controller under Windows XP, LabVIEW 8.0.1 and LabVIEW DSC 8.0.1.

Make sure if the DAQmx driver version is 8.0 or later, the shared variable binding to global channel feature is available since version 8.0. You can download the latest version of DAQmx driver from our website www.ni.com in drivers and updates section.

  • PerformanceCounter.NextValue with static value of Performance Monitor

    Hi !
I have one question about the documentation "PerformanceCounter.NextValue Method for .Net Framework 4.5".
In the remark note we have the following:
If the calculated value of a counter depends on two counter reads, the first read operation returns 0.0. Resetting the performance counter properties to specify a different counter is equivalent to creating a new performance counter, and the
first read operation using the new properties returns 0.0. The recommended delay time between calls to the NextValue method is one second, to allow the counter to
    perform the next incremental read.
But i need the counter "Current Bandwith" of "Network Interface" category, and it is static, its value does not change. I need to do two readings NextValue for static counters?
    Thanks!

    Hi Rafael,
I think this thread is specific to Windows Performance forum. This form is to discuss problems about CLR development. So I am helping you to move this thread directly into that forum. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Java Application Performance Monitoring - J2EE Transaction Monitoring

    Hi,
Does SCOM 2012 R2 support J2EE transaction monitoring, ie how application behaves from end users. Apdex scores, response time and throughput , Execution method and SQL queries.I could not find transaction monitoring information in Java MP guide.
Is that Java managment pack supports monitoring only Tomcat and not weblogic, websphere and jboss on Linux servers,
    Appreciate help in this
    Thanks in advance
    Bharath

    Hi Bharath,
"Apdex scores, response time and throughput , Execution method and SQL queries."
You're talking about the metrics similar to those which we have after configuring application monitoring in .NET Application Performance Monitoring (AVIcode APM) template, right? If so, this sort of APM profiling for Java apps introduced in SCOM 2012
R2. But it's only for Tomcat5.5+ hosted Web Applications:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/random_happy_dev_thoughts/archive/2014/01/07/system-center-2012-management-pack-for-java-application-performance-monitoring-released.aspx
If you use another application server rather than Tomcat (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss), I would recommend you to take a look at BeanSpy instrumentation itself:
    http://www.systemcentercentral.com/demystifying-jee-app-performance-monitoring-in-opsmgr-2012-jee-faqs/
    Download link:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29270
This is not AVIcode-like APM (AVIcode-like APM relies on it as a prerequisite), but if you are familiar with MBeans structure, you could configure quite interesting monitoring transactions for your java apps:

  • Monitoring FCP through a LG HD Monitor

    Hi All.
My company recently replaced our old SD broadcast monitor with a LG HD TV monitor. To save money we ordered it from Best Buy. We also started shooting and editing with P2 footage. After the footage is logged and transferred and in the project. I would set up using the NTSC DV sequence setting. This worked. I could see the footage during playback on the monitor. I was recently asked to create files using the 4:3 ratio. Well, I've run into a problem of the sequence not playing back on the monitor. Can anyone help?
    FYI
My computer is hooked up to my DSR-11 deck via firewire. Audio goes to external speakers and video output goes to the LG monitor.

So you are viewing SD DV on this big HD monitor? You shot HD, but are editing in a DV timeline and viewing on an HD monitor?
    Whatever for?

  • Performance monitor CF9 Windows 2008 R2 x64

When I enable the performance counters for coldfusion 9, I'm not able to add any counters in the performance monitor.
I can add counters in the 32 bit version of perfmon (mmc /32 perfmon.msc) but that is only because the CF9 performance counters seem to be incompatible with the 32 bit performance monitor.
The really weird thing is that when I tried to enable 1 single counter at a time they all worked, including the Coldfusion 9 counters.
    The CF9 counters only work in combination with a few other counters;
    .NET CLR Data
    .NET CLR Networking
    .NET Data Provider for Oracle
    .NET Data Provider for SqlServer
    .NET Framework
    BITS
    WmiApRpl
There is a bug tracked for what seems to be the same problem on Windows 7, this was closed but I dont know of any fix for this.
    http://cfbugs.adobe.com/cfbugreport/flexbugui/cfbugtracker/main.html#bugId=83344
I would appreciate any help in the right direction.
    Thanks for reading,

    Hello,
Perhaps enable CFSTAT, CFadminUI > Debugging & Logging > Debug Output Settings > Enable CFSTAT .Do you get values for the same counters when using cfstat (eg C:\ColdFusion\bin>cfstat 5)?
CFSTAT uses similar counters as CF Performance Monitor.

  • System Monitoring with Solution Manager Ehp1

    Hi,
I'm Tomas Piqueres, and I'm working in a VAR SAP with Solution Manager.
Recently, we installed Solution Manager Ehp1 and we are trying to configure it for System Monitoring. When I worked with Solution Manager SP17 I used to go to transaction RZ21 to add the system I wanted to monitoring and then put the SID and RFCs of the system.
Now with Solution Manager Ehp1, when I create the system in transaction RZ21, first I have to set the Component Type to Be Monitored and then the SID, Message Server Logon Group, the client and user are set automatically, and the password I've set to user CSMREG.
when I fill all the entries, I can see the RFCs used for the monitoring of the system. Those RFCs are set automatically:
    <SID>_RZ20_COLLECT
    <SID>_RZ20_ANALYZE
I can't edit those RFCs, so I have to create it manually. I check that RFCs destination works fine and both pass the authorization test, so when I try to save the system at transaction RZ21, I see the following errors:
<SID>_RZ20_COLLECT_123539Error when opening an RFC connection
Error during remote call of SAL_MS_GET_LOCAL_MS_INFO function: Error when opening an RFC connection
Error during remote call of SALC function: Error when opening an RFC connection
Error during remote call of RFC1 function: Error when opening an RFC connection
I've been looking for information about those errors and how to monitoring with Solution Manager Ehp1, but I haven't found anything usefull.
    Please, Could you help me?
    Thanks and regards,
    Tomas.

I am able to unmonitor and monitor the resources manually. What is the cause of these WARNING messages? This from Oracle and we have yet to complete the installation of HA-Oracle. Oracle is not installed and tnsnames.ora and listener.ora is not configured. Is this the reason? If so, could someone explain why you cannot online the resource group until after the application has been installed.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ryan

As the manual says for clrs create:
By default, resources are created in the  enabled  state with  monitoring enabled. so when you issue the clrg online -emM it is just simply warning you that these other resources weren't disable. Note they wouldn't have been started because the RG would have been offline.
Does that explain it? If not, ask more questions.

  • Samsung 2494LW monitor with mini?

has anyone used this monitor with the new 2010 mac mini? i ask due to the calibration option it has not working with snow. can it be adjusted without the "magictune"?
LCD / TFT : Where Can I Get MagicTune?
Note: Magic Tune is currently only available for the following operating systems:
    Microsoft :
    Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista (32/64 bit) and Windows 7 (32/64 bit).
    Apple:
Mac OS X 10:2.6 to 10.5.7, at this time there is no support for Leopard.
Magictune is a software equivalent of the on screen display menu, if Magic tune does not work on your system you have the following options. You can use the built-in OSD menu of the monitor, or you may be able to adjust the settings using the advanced settings of your video card. Please contact your pc or video card manufacturer for assistance.

    Hi there
I just got a new Mac Mini and a 32 inch Samsung LCD 450 series. I am not sure of max resolution but I know it's a 720p set. I have been impressed with the plug and play set up via a VGA cable. But, I can not seem to figure out how to get the max resolution set up either.
The Mac display preferences only give me choices for standard monitor sizes that are not proportional to the Samsung screen, I have tired both 800 x 600 and the 1024 x 768 I have mixed and matched this with changing the picture proportions on the TV (16:9 vs 4:3). Things either seem stretched or overly square.
Am I missing something here, Is there somewhere else I should be looking for settings to tweak?
Any help or steering toward other resources would be most welcome.
    Thanks, Josh

  • Simplest way to support dual monitor with HP 2570P

    Hi,
I would like to be able to use my dual monitors with my HP 2570P. I do not yet have a docking station.
What is the simplest way to support dual monitor display with my  HP 2570P ?
I'm not looking for mirror i am looking for an extended desktop. I can live with out the laptop display if required.
I know there was a previous post about the 2540 but I'm not sure if the outcome applied to 2570p too.
    thanks
    Richard.

There is no truly simple way except use of a docking station.
You can use the VGA port or the display port. None of the manuals I have seen assert that you can use them both simultaneously.
There is no a previous post about the 2540 in regards to using a dual external display setup in the forum that I have seen.
