IIS getting disabled..

Hi,
We have installed the OBIEE using IIS.. but IIS is getting disabled so OBIEE presenation services are coming down.. where can I check the log file for this and how can I fix this ..

This is not anything ConfigMgr is doing. The cases I've seen similar to this have had a GPO responsible for this behavior from which the site systems needed to be excluded.

I have seen 2 threads here about this issue and a few more by googling the problem.
However nothing, nothing, noithing... worked!

To try to solve this issue, I:
Uninstalled:
Antivirus (BitDefender)
PC Cleaner (CCCleaner)
Flash,
Java,
Shockwave,
MediaPlayer...
FF (deleting all the settings).
Then reboot twice for safety.
Then re-installed Java, Flash, Shockwave.
Reboot once more.
Re-installed FF, reboot once more.
Checked that all the plugins were updated, and only then I finally installed my extensions.
Checked that the user.js and preferences.js were not read only.
Everything worked fine (even FF restart) until the next OS reboot!
Then it all strated again!!!!!! It's driving me crazy!!!! Please, help! Machine cannot defeat man... or, better, machine can defeat me, but not the whole of the FF community!!!!!
Please, I must get to the end of this story! Help!!!

WPS no longer gets disabled by BT

If I ever had to reset my homehub 3 (type A) I remember that wps became available for a short while until BT disabled it again. However since it upgraded to the latest firmware, wps no longer gets disabled by BT. Does this mean that the security issue with wps has been fixed in the latest firmware?

Sorry for the delay un updating you.
We recently started to switch on the WPS functionality on our Hub 3’s. It is being rolled out over the next few months so some hubs have had this enabled already but it will take a while to have this rolled out across all hub 3.0s.
Rest assured that we would not be doing this if there were any security concerns in switching on WPS.

Fields not getting disable

Hi All,
I am using PCUI application CRMM_ACCOUNT with Old Floor Plan. I want to make field Country as Read only. So I selected FieldGroup as ACC_SRES_COUNTRY and field Conutry. I made field as 'Read only'. Due to this my field gets disable in List view but when i check same field in Detail View it is enabled.
Has anyone have idea what i am missing or what is reason for it?

I also faced the same problem and get resolved it by making some extra work.
are you using any view of this application ?if yes than
what you need to do is to make country field read only for your view. for that copy all the fields with your view in same field group. now check the read only for this field.
I am sure it will resolve the issue

"Edit Report" option getting disabled on saving the report in BPC 10.0

I have created input schedules using "Edit Report" functionality in BPC 10.0 NW, added a few buttons and corresponding VB code and tested the input schedule by sending data and running data manager package. Everything is working fine. After that I saved the input schedule and closed the Excel. On reopening the excel Add-in and the input schdule, the "Edit report" option becomes disabled and refresh and other functionalities available for the report get disabled. I have faced this issue a couple of times. Has anybody else faced this issue? Can someone let me know the resolution to this problem?

This is probably happening because the report/input schedules is not getting connected. Please check the connections once.
Also if you had named the report in "Edit Report" earlier, say for example "Sales Report", once the report is open you should be able to see this name on the EPM context pane, right side under Current Report: Connected to "Your Model" and below that in the drop down the default selection should be "Sales Report". This means that the report is connected and the Edit Report option is active.

LOV getting disabled while passivation

When running my ADF application with AM pooling switched off to test passivation/activation, a particular LOV is getting disabled once you select a value for it. User should be allowed to change the value here as many times he/she wishes. Issue occurs only while AM pooling is switched off. The LOV has a partial trigger set, but is not behaving as expected. Please find the code snippet below:

As the log gets disabled when disabled="#{bindings.BusinessUnitName1.inputValue == ''}"You should check this binding.

Hi Aditya,
The table is disabled because you haven't created elements for the node. Each row of a table represents an element of the bounded node. So before the table is displayed, create as many elements as the no: of rows you want by this code:
Let <table node> be the node that you have bound to the table.
IPrivate<your view>.I<tableNode>Element elmt;
for(int i=0;i<no_of_rows_req;i++)
elmt = wdContext.node<table node>().create<table node>Element();
// if you want some data to be shown as the default ones, you can do it here as

Now those many rows will be active.

User not getting disabled

A particular user is not getting disabled. This is happening when it tries to disable one of the provisioned resources.

Thanks for your response.
1. Disable triggers are defined in that object and multiple instances enabled for that disable trigger task.
2. Object is still in provisioned state not disabled
3. Two of its tasks in that process instance are manually completed. Some prob has occured during completion of that task and they have manually completed it. So is that same problem hindering the disable flow also?

Screen getting disabled on pressing enter only

I have a module pool program, in which i am editing some fields on screen. Without any change change done if i press enter the screen gets disabled. As per logic it should happen on pressing save button only.

I think you are using loop at screen in PBO.
change it like this.
case ok_code.
when 'SAVE'.
loop at screen.
screen-input = 0.
modify screen.
endloop.
endcase.
Try to Clear the OK_CODE when you feel you dont need further.

Skype getting disabled

I have skype set up to auto start when my computer starts up. However it will randomly get disabled in my start up menu in the task manager in windows 8.1. Anyone know why this keeps happening?

Ahh ok. Well no it should not. If it's not a case of skype crashing (check event viever logs), it's probably another program (or setting) doing this. You could allways diasble the other non critical programs in startup, and see if it helps, then reenable them one by one.
Skype itself should only write to the registry key when told to (when you change it). So unless there is an issue in the version you are using, something else is doing this.
Do note that the regkey for autostart is user based (if nothing have changed), so skype might behave different for different user accounts on the same machine.

Users getting disabled during Synchronization

Hi All,
We are running Plumtree 5.0.2 in Windows Environment under Tomcat and also used Sample Application "Auth_HelloWorld-Java" as the base and modified it as per the current needs for Authentication and Synchronization. When I run the Synchronization under "Partial Users Synchronization" all the groups and users get imported correctly for the first time. When it is run again the users which were imported during the first run gets disabled automatically and they need to be enabled manually. This is putting us under lots of issues as the number of users are getting more.
Please do let me know how this can be solved.

I appologize for the delayed response, our notification seem to have been down over the weekend.
In so far as the problems you are having, the only reason that the users would get disabled is that they are not members of a group in the "Fully Synchronized Group List". This list is in the Authentication Source Editor, and should contain the groups from your remote Authentication Source that should be synchronized with the portal. Only users that are members of a group specified in that list will be imported.
Do you have any groups choosen?

Buttons getting disabled in INBOX page of ICWC

Hi All,
We are trying to add a new column in INBOX result view of ICWC, AuiItem.htm.
Now for this we have inherited the standard ITERATOR class and created a Z class and wrote the code for fetching the data for newly created column.
Now when we are replacing the object of the Standard iterator class with our own iterator class in .htm page, the buttons which are present in the page are getting disabled.
But the data of the new column is getting populated.
Has any one faced similar issue??

Hello Pranay,
I had the same problem.
pay attention that there are couple of methods related to buttons that use iterator ( for example CL_CRM_IC_AUIITEMS_IMPL->CHECK_SELECTION line 32 ).
There for if you change your iterator you shoud redifine those methods to use your new iterator,
<b>There are more methods</b> that use the iterator and you should change them all (atleast only those that you need)

If you have an error in the event linkage (could be a binding error, or an error in your business object), the event linkage will deactivated (the standard customizing).
You can change this behavior through transaction SWE2 -> double click on your event linkage -> change the "Behavior Upon Error Feedback". (I think you can change this globally but I'm not quite sure where)
In my book best practice here will be;
1. Use the event queue
2. Set the "Behavior Upon Error Feedback" flag to something like "Keep linkage but flag as having an error" - I'm not on the system so I'm not quite sure what it's called
By doing this you make sure that you will collect your event in the event queue, in case of an error.
or
In the detail screen of SWETYPV there's an option called Bahaviour upon error in receiver, if you change this to option 3 then the linkage won't be disabled in cases of errors.
Sometimes you want the event linkage to be disabled in cases of errors, espescially when the only reason that an error can occur is a very serious one.

WiFi Profile keeps getting disabled

I'm always having issues where the WiFi profile gets disabled.
My school has a number of access points all with the same connection info and so I should be able to connect onto all the different access points seemlessly, however, it seems to get disabled a lot especially when I'm in an area of poor reception, or when I'm moving from one access point to another. It is extremely frustrating because I have to keep manually clicking on the profile, and then re-enabling it. I already have "Allow inter access point handovers" enabled. I've tried with IP 6 on and off, doesn't make a difference. I had the same issue on my Playbook as well. There are a number of other people having problems as well as seen here on CrackBerry.http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-10-os-f269/saved-wifi-network-keeps-disabling-itself-774078/ As people have mentioned, this is likely due to the algorithm used by BlackBerry to prevent battery drain, but clearly it's causing the connection to stay dead. Especially for connections that have ever connected successfully, it would be good for the phone to keep trying every 5 or 10 minutes, or maybe try and figure out what cell-towers might be connected to the WiFi so if you are within a certain area, it will know to keep trying. For the mean time, there should definitely be an option in the menu to quickly and easily re-enable the wifi profile.(e.g. with the long press/right side menu, or maybe even have an option at the bottom of the profile list.)

I am Using Wi-fi Connection to connect internaet to my phone but since i h'd started using BlackBerry z10 it constantly drops connection with Home Router wifi furthermore it also disables wifi radio so other device connect ed to that router even make disconnected to router. Solution is to that problem is i have to restart my router every time.
I tried to change following changes to my router:
Mode: From 11bgn mixed to 11n only
Enabled SSID Broadcast
Wireless Security: From WAP-Personal to WAP2-Personal
Beacon Interval: From 100 to 50
RTS Thresold: From 2346 to 2304
I h'd made Address Reservation of my phone to router.
Note: My Router has Latest Firmware Version:3.16.6 Build 130529 Rel.47286n (H/W Version WR740 v4.0000)
I am using Sony Xperia Acros, HP ProBook 4440s, Sony Vaio Laptop Devices Parallely, Either of any h'd not problem with connection drop out until.
