IIS7 with jrun4 on windows server2008(64 bit)

Hi,
I have windows server 2008(64 bit) with jrun4 updater 7 installed. I want to use IIS 7 with these. when i launch webServer configuration to add iis,foll happens:
1.i get a window with values:host:localhost , server:default , webserver:iis IIS website:greyed out. so i close this and again click on add.
2.This time webserver is all so i click on ok. i get "ERROR CREATING IIS APPLICATION EXTENSIONS FOR WEBSITE ALL {0}"
3.when i close the error window and again add the same server i get a new error: "C;\jrun4\lib\wsconfig\1\jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll(the system cannot find the path specified)"
Please suggest a solution.
P.S.
1. i have tried manually configuring external web server by creating foler wsconfig\1 and adding dll/ini file. but it didn't help. Also, in doing this i'm not sure of the proxy ports to use. My jrun.xml says 51000 and i gave the same in bootstrap=127.0.0.1:51000
2.I have 3 servers in jlauncher: admin,default and samples
3.when i'm adding the iis server, if i go to advanced settings, there is only a "use application mapping" radio. There is no ISAPI radio.
Please please help....

The main difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of ColdFusion is the amount of memory you can allocate to the JVM. With the 32-bit version, the practical limit is usually somewhere between 1.3GB and 1.8 GB of memory (although getting it close to 1.8GB is usually difficult). With a 64-bit version of ColdFusion, you can allocate a seemingly unlimited amount of memory to the JVM (although there can be performance issues with allocating too much memory to the JVM).

My iphone 4 will not sync with itunes on Windows 7 64 bit. My computer recognizes the iphone but Itunes does not. Any suggestions?

First it told me to uninstall itunes and install a windows 64 bit version which I did, the phone still won't sync
At the same time the itunes won't access the store
I've never accessed the store before or synced the phone
I live in a country without apple stores and geniuses so this is really the only way someone can help me

What's up with iTunes for Windows 7 64 bit? So slow and draggy. Makes my high end PC with multi-core processor and video card run like a 286. Even did this after doing a fresh install of the operating system with the latest version of iTunes.
No other software does this on my machine. There has to be some crazy issue causing this.

Try this,
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

IPod won't sync with iTunes on Windows 7/64 bit PC

I just updated my PC to Windows 7/64 bit. iPod will not sync with iTunes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes, and tried all the suggestions on the Internet (except restoring the iPod, too scary; and modifying registry on the PC, too too scary). The device thinks it has the most current software. The iPod tries to connect and appears briefly but then disconnects. A Windows message appears asking the following: "Do you want to scan and fix My iPod? There might be a problem with some files on this device or disc. This can happen if you remove the device or disc before all files have been written to it." If I tell it yes to scan it gives another error message that is it not recognized. If I tell it to skip the scan, the device disconnects and nothing happens. No syncing. I am at a loss as to how to fix this. Has anyone encountered this type of issue and if so - how did you resolve it. I don't want to restore the iPod as I do not know if it will ever connect and sync again and all the music on it now would be lost and the device would be useless. Sync outlook with Iphone and windows 7 64 bits

I have a new computer (HP DV7 3080ef) with windows 7 64 bits, itunes 9.0.2.25 and one iphone 3Gs 3.1.2.
I succeed to import from XP 32 bits my library on my new pc, including my outlook (2007) file.
I can synchronize my computer with iphone, thanks to this forum for the help, but only my outlook data are not transferred from pc to iphone and iphone to pc...without any error message and during the sync process, on the header of itunes we can see the sync for calendar, contacts and notes...Other topics are syncronized without prob.
I am totally lost and would like to continue to use my iphone as I did with my old XP computer.

ok I succeed. Maybe it can help somebody. solution is to recreate a new PST file, copy and paste all folders form old to new one (contacts, calendars, notes etc...). Then in outlook open Tools/options/data file, and select the new one as default file.
sync now works, I can use my precious with my laptop.

The latest supported server OS is Windows 2003. any newer Server OS is incompatible with the printer.

Urgent help needed with CP5 on Windows 7 64 bit and 'old' CP 5 projects.....

I have a serious problem, at least the sympthoms are very serious.
I have worked on a lot of projects with CP 5 on Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
CP5 was installed on the default root C:\Programs....
These projects partially contained recordings (demos, assessments...) of applications running on a Windows XP 64 computer.
Projects stored on E:\.....
All was OK
THEN:
I upgraded my OS to Windows 7 64 bit a couple of days ago.
D: and E: partitions were untouched by the new OS install.
Intalled CP5 on D:\..... not on default path C:\Programs...as I want to keep C: as clean as possible out of performance reasons.
All is OK except that:
- MINOR ISSUE: the projects on in the browser do not show assosiation to CP5 graphically as they used to in front of project name, this is the same for all other MasterSuite CS5 (also installed on D:...) applications too:
- MAJOR ISSUE: the demonstrations run properly but the results of action are graphically misplaced after generating the project:
Recording new demo projects on my system and generating them is OK
Can you please help to clarify and find solution so that my projects run properly.

Hi there
My gut tells me it's not so much an issue with Captivate as it may be an issue with the new Windows 7 setup. You might try right-clicking the Windows 7 desktop and choosing Personalize. Then in the lower left corner of the dialog, choose Display. See if you are configured for 100% or if it's something different. If it's something different, try choosing 100% and see if it helps.

Screen print imac with bootcamp and windows 7 64 bit

I have a new 27" Imac i7. I have boot camp installed and windows 7 64 bit. I have auto-cad installed for college. There are several assignments that require a screen print to turn in. I have not been able to figure this out. I have been using the snipping tool, but in certain instances i need a menu drop down included in the screen print. With the snipping tool the menu goes away. I have looked for some ways to do a screen print while in windows, and have been unsuccessful. I have a wireless apple keyboard, the shorter one. The F keys are enabled to be used as the real F keys without using the fn key on the windows side. So when i hit F10 for example it is the real F10 function. Does anyone have any ideas?

I can get those keys to work if i make the keyboard use the shortcut keys that are listed on the top. For example, if i want to use the f10-f12 keys to control the volume without having to hit the fn key. If i set the keyboard up that way that key combo will work. But if i set up the keyboard to use the f keys really be f keys without hitting the fn key, it will not work. Would you know how to get it like that? I have tried just leaving the fn key out of that combo and it will not work.

Printer cannot be found on iphone after a few minutes of airprint being activated; running with bonjour on windows 7 64 bit

I recently updated itunes to the latest version, downloaded and installed airprint and bonjour on my windows 7 64 bit pc to print to my non-airprint Epson Artisan 800 from my Iphone 5s with OS 7.0.4. I am using a Linksys E2500 router also. All works well for a few minutes then I lose the printer from my Iphone. Upon restarting Airprint services it immediately pops back up on the Iphone for those few minutes again. I have done several things I found in other forums to supposedly fix this problem to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

I am having similar issue but on a large scale. I have only a few printers that drop off while others stay. I notice this on my iOS devices, but if I check my macbook they all still display, so only on iOS devices it is disappearing.

Do I have to give up Palm Desktop 4.2 with my new Windows 7 64-bit Computer?

Just got a new Windows 7, 64-bit computer. I am completely dependent on my Palm Desktop 4.2 software and don't want to give it up. However, I was told by an online chat rep. that I needed a bluetooth connection to hot synch my Centro with my new computer. Ran out and bought it, but it seems that on Palm Desktop v. 4.2 there is no option to hot synch via bluetooth...obviously, the program is too old.
Does this mean I have to "upgrade" to Palm Desktop 6.2? Yuk! This version stinks! 4.2 is the reason I'm on my 3rd Palm product. Is there a different calendar software that you can hot synch with a desktop calendar? Has anyone had any success with this?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Sad I love my CENTRO on SPRINT. I have 3 on my account and 2 7xx. USB Bluetooth dongles are cheap but annoyingly flakey because of the crummy software that comes with them AND will they work with PTunes? It didn't when I tried Bluetooth on Windows XP.
At the END of the day, if PALM is not committed enough to put out a windows 7 64 bit USB driver how can I be committed to this phone. Looks like Android is getting help from palm, although I don't want to deal with learning a new phone.
If you find a good USB Bluetooth dongle device that works let us know here.
By the way, this ANNOYING chat board says me first name is an OBSCENE word. PALM is insulting their loyal customer base. I'll see if the Android board will let me use my first name. :-)

Navigation issue with Open Script ,Windows 7 64 bit, window 8 combination

Problem: whenever we run Argus automation on Windows 7 64 bit, window 8 combination we are not able to perform any action after we navigate to the Application URL
Step 1: browser.launch - This is working file
Step 2: web.navigate(Application); - Navigation is also working fine, but after navigation Playing status is not displayed in the browser toolbar.
Step 3: web.button(XPath).click(); -This step fails.

I had the exact same problem and I noticed that the same thing started happening with other programs along with adobe reader. What i discovered was that at least in my case, the issue was that Adobe Reader uses the temp folder on your computer. Mine happened to grow to about 35 gigs and because of that whenever a program tried to write anything to the temp folder, it would hang forever. Once i cleared my temp folder everything started working properly again for all programs including adobe reader.
the way i did this was from
My Computer -> Right click properties -> Click Disk Cleanup.
It will scan for all places that it will need to do disk cleanup on. Mine took a good 20 minutes because of the temp folder. Afterwards, look through the list of items that it scanned and make sure you select the temp folder option. Along with this you can probably clear out any other folders that are taking up a lot of memory. Clear these folders and try running Adobe Reader again. The process of clearing may take a very long time if your temp folder happens to be really large. But it was well worth it for me because everything started running quickly again. Anyways hope this helps for you as well.

Pause, back, and fwd (F6-8) keys don't work with iTunes. [Windows 7 64-bit]

All my other F# keys work (I can adjust the screen brightness, adjust the volume...etc) but my Pause (F8), Back (F7) and Fwd (F9) keys don't work with iTunes. Though they DO work with Windows Media Player.
How can I get them to work with iTunes?

Visual Studio 2005 with SP1 for Windows 7 - 64 bit

I am trying to install Visual Studio 2005 on a 64-bit platform (Windows 7). The version in about section reads Version 8.0.50727.42
(RTM.050727-4200)
I need to install the Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio 2005 but the installer available is for 32 bit (VS80sp1-KB932232-X86-ENU.exe)
This does not install on 64 bit system.
How do I get Visual Studio 2005 with SP1 installed ?
P.S- On the network I work on, I can see a Windows 2008 (64 bit) system with the version of Visual Studio 2005 that reads Version
8.0.50727.762 (SP.050727-7600) but I dont know how that was installed. Any help would be
appreciated.

I think your concern is the name X86 here. Actually Visual Studio is x86 version and we do not have a x64 version Visual Studio. So if you install Visual Studio on X64 version, it is also available. And when you see this page

Mouse problems with Crysis bootcamp Windows 7 32-bit

Hi everyone,
I've just got a 15" 2.66 MBP and have put Windows 7 32-bit on a bootcamp partition. My Magic mouse and wireless Apple keyboard work nicely with Windows but when I start Crysis I can't navigate the game menus; the mouse pointer won't go into the leftmost quarter and I can't click on any of the settings.
Does anyone have any advice to fix this?
