Anche io ho il tuo stesso problema, ma il mio iphone era già aggiornato al 4.3.3 - ho provato tutte le strade possibili pur di non mandare il dispositivo in assistenza, "anche perche il mio era praticamente immacolato senza nemmeno un graffietto" ho anche sostituito la sim perchè la vecchia era stata da me adattata con taglio manuale, ma inutilmente in quanto anche con la nuova non è cambiato nulla, adesso ho resettato tutto e ho fatto richiesta di intervento apple, cosa un pò strana e che mi fa pensare: il 24 agosto 2011 mi scade la garanzia di apple di soli 12 mesi (tutto da dire nella comunità europea) esattamente ad un mese dalla scadenza il primo problema prima finzionava tutto in modo egregio, per paura di rimanere fregato dalla garanzia di 12 mesi ho appena aquistato l'estensione a 24 mesi prima della scadenza al "modico prezzo di 78,48 euro comprensivo di spedizione e iva.
Che dire "i piaceri si pagano" però non credo sia corretto.....

ADF Faces: Making a component non-navigable. How?

Hi,
Is it possible to make an ADF Faces component non-navigable? Something like specifying
tabindex="-1"in HTML.
I need this most for buttons.

That's right. JSF produces such IDs. They are causing problems with JAAS login forms, so we should use plain JSPs for login, but for the rest of the tasks such IDs are okay.
What I meant is that currenty the buttons are not rendered as
<input type="button" ... />but as pictures embedded in hyperlinks (<a>).
It's possible, though not likely, that in some future version of ADF Faces some component will be rendered as an HTML element that doesn't support tab ordering (although I haven't really considered if there are such elements). Then the trick with manually setting the tabIndex of the parent HTML element won't work.
Of course, I deeply appreciate the fact that you take the time to help us on this forum. In fact, I will go ahead and do just that -- I will dynamically set the tabIndex via JavaScript. I was simply wanting to make sure that I wasn't taking such a hack-like approach, if there was a better method.

Map Loader 1.2.1 But can't find non navigable map?

I downloaded map loader v 1.2.1 from Nokia website for N95. The FAQ section of nokia maps show that non navigable map are available to download. But when i run map loader, Pakistan isn't on the list of countries?
Plz could any one guide me on this!

I have same problem, im looking for map of Fiji but cant find it anywhere. I asked that same question few times with no answer. Now only thing that is coming into my head is that maybe some of those maps maybe are incomplete and small in size so its only available to download then over-the-air? Its quite puzzling. I really hope somebody knows anything more.

Nokia "non-navigable" countries

Nokia has a list of "non-navigable" countries, meaning that Ovi Maps will not calculate routes on those countries.
However, NAVTEQ, which is subsidiary of Nokia since 2007, has navigable maps for several countries listed as "non-navigable" by Nokia.
Does anybody know a reason for that? I mean, what's the point of acquiring a big company like NAVTEQ and at the same time not making all NAVTEQ's maps available to Nokia customers. Sincerely, I just don't get it.
For instance, Uruguay and Peru are countries listed as "non-navigable" by Nokia, but NAVTEQ has navigable maps for these countries. Those are maps that anyone can use (including non-Nokia customers...), since they are available at NAVTEQ website.
As a matter of fact, NAVTEQ website is also capable of calculating routes from one "non-navigable" country to a "navigable" one, as you can see on the second attached image.
I have attached images of routes I've just calculated on NAVTEQ web site. The first one is a route from Montevideo (Uruguay) to Punta del Este (Uruguay) . The second one is a route from Montevideo (Uruguay) to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The third one is a route between two hotels I know in Lima, Peru.
I would really appreciate a comment from Nokia here...

Basically there is not a detailed geographical survey of your country yet.. as with all sat nav devices they require detailed area maps of the country these would include all road names and town names ect in order to predict routes and dictances.. therefore if the sat nav team havent been able to get hold of these then they cant produce maps for your area

Non-navigable maps not downloadable via Map Loader...

It is NOT possible to pre-download the non-navigable maps, i.e. the maps for the 80% of the world's countries that Nokia do not provide on Map Loader. And yet this page suggests maps are available for over 200 countries: http://europe.nokia.com/A41407068 and here, http://europe.nokia.com/A41417046, if you select a region like Africa and click non-navigable maps, it just says they are available, but doesn't say how.
It seems they are only available as an on-demand download, like Google Maps, i.e. you cannot pre-download them onto the phone. And the maps also seem to be extremely POOR. Nokia need to clarify that you cannot pre-download the non-nav maps and they need to supply full, detailed maps asap for all these current non-nav countries.

How to download Non-Navigable Map

I'm from Rio Grande do Sul and I use to travel one or two times a year to Uruguay. So, I understand your concern. I use Ovi Maps 3.04 on my 5530, but when I travel to Uruguay I have to use Garmin Mobile XT
Currently, Garmin is the only GPS navigation system that has Uruguay map. I don't know the reason for that, since Navteq, which is owned by Nokia, has Uruguay map since last year!
You can confirm that at the address: www.navteq.com. At Navteq's site, you'll be able to browse the complete map of Uruguay. In fact, that map is the same as the one you have on Garmin Mobile XT. Give it a try and enter a search for 'Montevideo'. It's also possible to get driving directions. But, only on Navte's site.
HELLO NOKIA!!! When will you release the map of Uruguay to Symbian phones, since Navteq, which is owned by you, already has that map since last year?
An interesting fact is that the local provider of the map of Uruguay is a Colonia del Sacramento based company, named Cremorne. Have a look at http://www8.garmin.com/cgi-bin/dealers.pl?country=Uruguay.

How to avoid the hand cursor on non navigating charts

I have a requirement from the user to avoid the hand cursor when the charts are non navigating.
Is there any way to avoid the hand cursor.?
When we move the mouse over the bar chart, the pointer cursor gets changed to hand cursor. But there is no navigation in the charts that i'm showing.
The presence of hand cursor in bar charts creates confusion to the end user when there is no navigation in charts.
It always misleads end users and they ask if the chart is complete or not since there is no navigation.
So i would like to avoid it, but how can i avoid it.??

I have a N82 and have map loader installed.
Nokia, on the web site says that there are various basic non navigable maps available for the N82, but i cannot find a link to where these maps may be downloaded?
Can anyone help, I'm off on my travels on Saturday and even base map info might be useful.

Hiya - Yes the phone should save the mapping information.
There is a way to check this - if you go into the Nokia Maps options you should be able to configure Maps to ask you before going online.
Once you have done this, quit Maps, then reload it and do a search for places/countries you wish to have mapping data for (e.g. Islamabad) - the phone should be able to display the maps previously loaded without having to go online.
To be honest, given I take the planning and preparation stage of any journey as being the most important, if you have enough space on your phone I'd be tempted to use MapLoader and just download maps for countries in the region of where you want to go - which should then cover the EXACT countries of where you want to go. The reason for this is that I'm not 100% sure whether when you do a search for a place (e.g. London) whether it downloads the whole of England's mapping data, or just the bit of London that you can see on your screen - and obviously given the difference in charges for data, you don't want to be finding that out when you're there !
Also - one other thing to consider - mapping data for regions such as Islamabad won't be the best or most up to date in the world. For example, when a friend and I were driving in Ireland recently some roads/paths etc. weren't on the map - this isn't the fault of Nokia Maps - more of the mapping data supplied by either Navteq or TeleAtlas - and that's just Ireland !
My advice would be to get paper maps and use your phone as a backup.

Where are NON-NAVIGABLE Maps?

It's very upsetting to notice that Nokia has failed to provide even "non-navigable maps" for download. This doesn't require rocket-science! All they have to do is to scan the countries' maps and calibrate them. I don't understand why it's so difficult?
This subject came to me when I tried to find the map of Iran to download on my E71. It simply doesn't exist! and I'm not talking about the "Navigable Map" of Iran (which obviously doesn't exist due to lack of demand).
Hope to see some intuitions from Nokia as we have seen in their handset designs.

yes u r wrong
google maps r not for download but u can get them easily
step 1:
open the map u wnt on maps.google.com
step2:
zoom into the required area
remember that ur map will not be able to zoom further
so zoom max
step3:
click on the link button on the right mostsite just above the map
and copy the link
step4
paste the link in a notepad file
step5 CRUCIAL STEP(the only use of this is to stitch together many smaller maps like the one u just viewed and get the required map)
alter the code such that the digit 425 is replaced by---- and 350 by ---- . put the required size of map u want in ---.
for eg if u wanta 10 times bigger map multiply both by 10
do not exceed by more than 50 or else the map will not load
step6
save the notepad file as .html
step7
open html file
be patient as i will load the picture
WARNING: firefox might crash
when the map has loaded use a software to capture a screenshot of entire webpage
please suggest me if u come across any good software
these damn softwares r designed for usually smaller screenshots but the maps r of 10Mb or greater so they crash

La sola cosa disastrosa che leggo è il tuo commento.
In primis dovresti conoscere la differenza tra la garanzia legale del rivenditore e quella del produttore: nel caso di Apple la garanzia limitata di un anno va ad AGGIUNGERSI a quella legale del rivenditore.

anche io sono nella tua stessa situazione,
ho un i-phone 4s da dicembre 2011 e nel febbraio 2014 ha cominiciato a non funzionare più il WI-FI.
Rimane sempre grigio e non è possibile attivarlo. Questo è avvenuto dopo aggiornamento di IOS.
Sono andato al centro Apple di carugate e l'unica soluzione che mi hanno proposto, dato che per 2 mesi il telefono è fuori garanzia, è quella di ottenere un telefono uguale rigenerato al costo di 200 euro.
La proposta mi pare inaccettabile in quanto trattasi di un problema software. Ho provato tutti ripristini possibili ma nessun risultato.
Ritengo ingiusto che a causa di un aggiornamento non mi funzioni il WI-FI e anche se la garanzia è scaduta non riconoscete l'errore. Le 200 euro per un telefono rigenerato quando il guasto è stato causato dall'aggirornamento Software mi sembre un furto e una presa in giro. Che almeno diate la possibilità di ritornare alla versione precedente del software oppure bloccate gli aggiornamenti per questo modello. Il problema non è solo mio ma ho sentito parecchia gente che ha riscontrato questo problema. Dopo questo trattamento il mio prossimo telefono sicuramente non sarà Apple. Spendere una bella cifra di quattrini per poi trovarsi questi problemi

Dopo qualche mese torno a scrivere degli aggiornamenti per chi in futuro avrà lo stesso problema.. Quindi, la situazione è migliorata con qualche settimana di utilizzo della nuova batteria (si sarà ricalibrato il sensore, non saprei), tuttavia non sono tornato alla condizione precedente il problema. non ci sono più stati spegnimenti a livelli superiori al 4/5%, questo mi fa pensare che, nonostante le rassicurazioni del centro assistenza, la batteria fosse ormai ko. Quello che continuo a notare è un calo drastico della batteria a qualsiasi livello di carica, ma questo credo sia imputabile più all'utilizzo di risorse dell'os.. Morale: attenzione a fare affidamento su ciò che dicono nei centri apple.. ps: nel mio caso ho preso la batteria sostitutiva a 30€, kit di apertura iphone e spedizione compresa, è un'operazione molto semplice..
