ILike crashes iTunes?

Question

ever since installing iLike i can no longer get into the iTunes store. in fact even after uninstalling iLike nd even iTunes and then reinstalling iTunes i still have the issue... iTunes works fine in all other ways but CRASHES when i go to the store. . . while this saves me money it is driving me nuts as i buy a lot of music there
using macbook pro

There still may be aspects of iLike running on your comp. Try this:
1.) Go to system prefs
2.) Click on accounts
3.) Unlock it
4.) Click you username and choose the login items tab on the top right of this window
5.) Remove anything unnecessary in this list (not just uncheck, you'll need to remove it by clicking the little minus sign)
6.) Logout/in to your machine
7.) Open iTunes and give it a go
Does this help? If not, try a spotlight search for iLike. Delete the stuff it finds. Restart. Try again.
You can also try removing the iTunes plist. This may remove some settings you've set in iTunes. Use at your own risk (and only do this after you've made sure all the iLike stuff is gone):
1.) Make sure iTunes is closed and navigate to your home folde > library > preferences
2.) Locate com.apple.itunes.plist
3.) Drag it to your desktop
4.) Logout/in
5.) Open iTunes. Click "cancel" to the next screen (it's going to act as if you've never opened iTunes, but we know that's not true)
6.) Try to go to the iTunes Store
If iTunes acts funky or removes some prefs you'd rather not redo, you can always move that plist on your desktop back to where it was. Logging out and in should restore things to how they were.
