Illustrator 9.02 extrem langsam

Ich habe Illustrator 9.02 auf meinem Rechner installiert, WIN 2000, 600 MHZ, 384 MB Arbeitsspeicher. Es ist so langsam, dass ich damit nicht arbeiten kann. Ständig ist statt des Zeigers das Sanduhr-Symbol zu sehen. Jeder noch so kleine Befehl dauert ewig. Hat jemand eine Lösung oder muß ich weiterhin mit Freehand arbeiten?!

Dieses Thema wurde schon verschiedentlich diskutiert. Offensichtlich haben die Norton-Utilities und Illustrator zusammen ein Problem. Es gibt auch einen Eintrag in der Adobe Knowledge Base, wo die Lösung beschriebne ist. http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/25316.htm

Firefox 4.0.1 reagiert bei fast allen Aktionen extrem langsam

Hallo,
seit ein paar Tagen reagiert mein Firefox 4.0.1 (OS WinXP, aktuell) bei fast allen Aktion (Tabwechsel, Eingaben, Googlesuche, Wechsel von anderen Programmen zu Firefox) extrem langsam, die Maus friert hierbei auch bis zu einer Sekunde ein. Ich habe recht viele Programme auf meinem PC (inkl. einiges von Adobe, Corel, Office) mit eigenen Updateroutinen, so dass ich nicht genau sagen kann, ob auch hier ein Zusammenhang besteht.
Kennt jemand dieses Verhalten und kann mir eine Lösung anbieten?
PS: Komplette Neuinstallation (inkl. aller Mozilla-Ordner) brachte keinen Erfolg!

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Abgesicherter Modus]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.

PS CS3 extrem langsam

Hallo,
auf meinem ansonsten recht gut ausgestatteten System (WinXP Home sp2, 2048 MB Ram, 3,4 GHz CPU, 70 GB frei auf Festplatte) läuft Adobe Photoshop CS3 inzwischen unerträglich langsam und schleppend, bleibt oft bei jedem klick sekundenlang hängen (keine Rückmeldung!), so dass ich kaum noch damit arbeiten kann. Weiß jemand, woran das liegen könnte und wie es abzustellen wäre?

bei mir ist CS3 auch extrem langsam. Vor allem bei bestimmten Arbeitsschritten wie z.B. bildausschnitt markieren -> Kopieren, dann STRG+N (neues dokument) + enter. dann dauert das ca. 30 sekunden bis das neue LEERE dokument erstmal erstellt ist. (und das bei einem 72 dpi dokument mit einer maße von ca, 50x100 pixel) Und so geht das bei vielen Arbeitsschritten. So kann man nicht arbeiten.
Mein Rechner: 3,2 GHz INTEL / 3,5 GB RAM
WIN XP
Gibt es für das Problem keine Lösung?!?

S540 extrem langsam, oft Einfrieren des Bildschirms, Arbeitsspeicher komplett ausgelastet

Hallo @all,
wir haben nun unser Lenovo Thinkpad S540 seit Januar im Einsatz und ärgern uns faktisch täglich über dieses Ding.
Folgende Probleme:
- Es ist extrem langsam (unser alter Rechner war schneller mit randvoller Festplatte, einem geringeren Prozessor und weniger RAM). Wir haben einen i7 Prozessor, 8 GB RAM und das Notebook ist schon beim Start am Rande seiner Kapazität, obwohl noch nicht mal ein Programm geöffnet wurde, denn schon das Hochfahren dauert ewig.
- Wenn man den Task-Manager startet, dann ist die Datenträgerauslastung meist bei 100 % und der Arbeitsspeicher ebenso. Wie gesagt, es wurde noch nicht mal irgendwas gestartet.
- Neuerdings haben wir noch das Thema, dass der Bildschirm ständigei einfriert und schwarz wird und dann ist Schicht im Schacht und es geht gar nichts mehr.
Die tollen Lenovo Solution Tests ergeben keine Fehler, dennoch ist das in unseren Augen nicht realistisch. Leider komme ich mit dem Support nicht wirklich weiter. Die sagen immer nur, wir müssen ihn neu aufsetzen, was wir auch bereits 2 mal getan haben, es ist dann bei den erstenzweimal besser und danach ist es noch schlimmer als vor der Neuinstallation, daher lassen wir das lieber in Zukunft.
Hat irgendjemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Der Laptop ist noch in der Garantie, aber leider weiß ich nicht, wie ich den Support dazu bekomme, dass sie ihn sich (kostenlos) ansehen. Wir nutzen in der Firma auch Lenovo Laptops, die haben teilweise einen geringeren Prozessor und sind um einiges schneller. Und wie gesagt, selbst unser alter Laptop rast gegen den neuen - das kann es ja nicht sein, dafür ist der auch zu teuer gewesen.
Wir benutzen den Laptop wirklich nur im Notfall und das ist kein Zustand, dafür haben wir uns keinen neuen Laptop zugelegt.
Vielleicht hat ja hier jemand eine Idee, was man noch machen kann.

Illustrator CS4 is extremely slow on my MacBook Pro

Illustrator CS4 (14.0.0) is running extremely slow on my MacBook Pro. After selecting an object nothing happens for 3 seconds, than the color wheel rotates for 3 seconds, then I can continue working. This is repeated for any new action, like select, rotate, copy, etc. The ActivityMonitor shows 100,2 % CPU usage during these seconds, all other processes are between 0 and 1,5%. All other CS4 programs are running fine.
I have no other application running at the same time, I chose "performance" over battery lifetime in the system preferences, deleted all the "Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings" in the preferences folder for a fresh start, used the Adobe CleanSwipe tool, all installed printers are on and connected, HD has lots of free space, I work only from the local HD, have only 60 fonts installed - but no improvement. Even if I have a new document with only one object in it, this goes very slow.
Then I followed one of the recommendations in this community, installed a new user account, started Illustrator from there - and the problem was completely gone, reaction time and speed as it should be!!
Something in my initial (admin-)account is causing this problem - does anyone have a clue what it could be?
Any hint would be appreciated very much.

That are 2 very good leads, but unfortunately I already tested that: I uninstalled all fonts, so there are only system fonts left - no improvement. There is no difference between the admin account and the second user account regarding the Activity Monitor.

Illustrator CS4 (14.0.0) is running extremely slow on my MacBook Pro. The color wheel is rotating and keeps me waiting almost after every click, although everything is working fine, no crashes or whatsoever.

Illustrator CS6 - Lagging - extremely slow!!

Has any one experinced CS6 Illustrator lagging and responding extremely slow. For example if I try to move a vector graphic it takes a few seconds before it re-freshes and updates. That goes for about everything re-sizing, moving, editing.....
I know it's not my computer. CS5 worked great. My computer is a Mac Pro running with 16GB of ram and solid state drives.
Any one have any suggestions??

I had the same problem, and it was almost unbearable to work. Then i found this solution to run your adobe illustrator in windowed mode )
Left click adobe illustrator exe file, go to the properties, then shortcut tab, and see below Target: now you just have to paste this -w 1600 -h 900 in your target location and hit apply ok. Please set your resolution according to your LED monitor size. hope this helped.

Illustrator CC 2014 extremely choppy. Please help.

I just bought an iMac 5k Retina Base model with Yosemite installed. All other CC applications work like a breeze except illustrator. Illustrator is extremely choppy and almost unworkable. Can someone help me out?

I just bought a MBP Retina 15" high-end (i7, 16GB RAM, SSD 512, GeForce GT 750M 2GB) perfectly clean install with Photoshop and Illustrator CC updated. This is terribly choppy (scrolling / navigation / zoom / unzoom), even when creating a new document. Everywhere else, the computer is a real bomb.
With Photoshop, everything is perfectly smooth. I also have a 27 "iMac non retina and no particular concern in Illustrator.
The problem appears when we enlarge the size of the artboard. By using a small artboard, it's almost fluid. More we enlarge it, the more it chop. The solid gray artboard takes all the resources.
I downloaded a demo of SwitchResX that can display resolutions other than those of the system and I put my 15" Retina in 3840x2400px non-HiDPI and Illustrator retrieve its fluidity. So HiDPI is not optimized on Illustrator. Great job Adobe.

Illustrator CS4 Running Extremely Slow

We are running Illustrator CS4 (version 14.0.0) on a Mac Pro with OS 10.5.8. When we are working on files with a fair to large amount of linked, not embedded, images, the speed of Illustrator is DRAMATICALLY slower. We get the lovely beach ball with just about every move we make - switching tools, locking/unlocking layers, clicking on an element. The beach ball is there for 3 or more seconds with each move - causing the simplest of tasks to take forever. Document size doesn't seem to matter. It happens on a 350 MB file and on a 60 MB file. It does seem like the files it happens to have a fair amount of linked images placed - some have 10 links. some have up to 30 links. Has anyone run into this problem? I haven't found many complaints online, but can't imagine we are the only ones with this problem. I'm anxiously waiting for CS5 in hopes it will solve this problem. Any suggestions?
One more thing - these files that are slow in CS4, run normal in CS3. I don't notice anything being sluggish with them in CS3,

We are having the same problem. We are running Illustrator CS4 (version 14.0.0) on a Mac Pro Quad core, 6GB ram, with OS 10.5.6
We have two machines that seem to be effected and one that isn't, all are the same spec and setup. But we can't seem to narrow down what the problem is.
One work around we have found is to open the file that is sluggish. Let it load then hide the illustrator, kick the network off. then go back to illustrator. It will ask to re-link the images (which are all stored on the network), just click cancel and it will show the red question marks in the links panel. After that is done it goes back to being speedy. If we need to import another pic, just reconnect and disconnect the network as needed. Not ideal but saves having to wait 30 seconds in between each nudge or move.

Dreamweaver CC extrem langsam

Habe einen Mac Pro 12-Core Jahrgang 2012 mit 34 GB RAM und OSX 10.7.5.
Ich habe das neue DW CC installiert und sollte eigentlich denken, dass es bei meiner Maschine keine Performance-Engpässe geben sollte.
Die Codeansicht ist auch sehr flüssig
ABER...
Wenn ich die Dateiansicht (lokale Ansicht) rauf und runterscrollen möchte, stockt das ganze extrem.. also ob ich eine Liste damals auf meinem Amiga anschauen würde....
Auf dem DW CS6, CS5.5 und CS5 hatte ich dieses Problem nicht.
Habt ihr das gleiche Problem? Wie oder was muss ich umstellen, damit das ganze etwas flüssiger wird?

Dieses Problem hat sich erledig.. nutze jetzt "Eclipse"... ich überlege noch ob ich mein Adobe Abo kündigen soll.. Dw und Ps sind die einzigen zwei Tools, die ich wirklich brauche... dafür den Master Collection Abo zu bezahlen wenn jetzt nicht einemal mehr Dw richtig funktioniert.. ich glaube das ist Geldverschwendung...
Eclipse brauche einige eingewöhnung.. aber ist 300x schneller und kann problemlos auf die eingenen Wünsche erweitert werden...

Illustrator cc 2014 extremely slow

We have been using Illustrator cc with acceptable speed. But with cc 2014, the Illustrator becomes very slow. This does not happen with Photoshop cc 2014. We finally have to remove the illustrator cc 2014. Meanwhile, Photoshop cc 2014 is normal. Anyone has similar experience ? Any idea about the fix ?

Dreamweaver CC 2014 extrem langsam

Hallo Zusammen
Ich wollte kurz nachfragen, ob sonst jemand das gleiche Problem hat. Bei mir ist Dreamweaver CC 2014 sowas von langsam.. obwohl ich eine ziemlich anständige HW Config habe.
Sobald ich mehr als 4 Dateien im DW geöffnet habe kann ich kaum noch ein Fenster wechseln. Das heisst: Dreamweaver offen, dann klick z.B. auf Safari.. und wenn ich nun wieder auf DW weitermachen möchte dauert es eine gefühlte Ewigkeit bis der Cursor in der Codeansicht wieder bedienbar ist. Und da ich oft zwischen Browser und DW wechsle ist wein Arbeiten fast unmöglich geworden. Das war schon bei der Vorgängerversion so langsam und bei der vorvorgänger Version auch.. von Version zu Version von DW wird es aber immer schlimmer...
Sobald mehrere Dateien im DW offen sind, fäng auch die Maus an zu flackern... schliesse ich wieder einige Dateien bis max. 2 Dateien offen sind ist wieder alles normal...
Ich habe jetzt begonnen mit "Brackets" zu arbeiten... hier geht es sehr flott zu und her... aber es ist trotzdem eine umgewöhnung, die halt sehr viel effizienz kostet....
Hat mir jemand einen Tipp wie ich DW wieder zum laufen bringe:

Miix 2 WLAN extrem langsam

ich hoffe ich kann hier auch auf deutsch schreiben...
Mein Miix2 10" Tablet hat eine extrem schlechte WLAN Performance.
Download-Geschwindigkeit (Inerhalb des LANs, nicht Internet) liegt permanent deutlich unter 1000KBit/s. Zusätzlich bleibt es immer wieder mehrere Sekunden komplett stehen.
Der Adapter zeigt eine Geschwindigkeit zwischen 78 - 100 MBit an. Empfang ist immer super. (Tablet nur ein paar Meter vom Router entfernt)

Treiber für den WLAN Adapter habe ich von der Lenovo Seite.
BIOS Update ebenfalls durchgeführt.

SAP beim starten extrem langsam

Hallo Zusammen,
wir haben seit längerem das Problem, das bei einigen System der Start des B1 Systems extrem lange dauert.
Nach erfolgreichem Login starrt man teilweise bis zu 40 Sekunden auf einen weißen Bildschirm bis sich das Hauptmenü aufbaut und sich die ersten Addons verbinden. Sehr unschön.
Dieses Verhalten haben aber außschließlich ältere Systeme die ursprünglich in 2007A installiert wurden und mittlerweile auf einem 8.8. PL sind.
Hat da jemand eine Idee zu?

wir hatten selbiges Problem auch bei einem Kunden. Die Anmeldung hat gut 4 Minuten gedauert und auch das Verbinden von AddOns hat jeweils nochmal einige Minuten gedauert. Sobald man drin war, war die Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit normal.
Wir haben sehr sehr sehr lange Ursachenforschung betrieben und letztlich hat sich herausgestellt, dass auf dem SAP Server eine VPN-Verbindung eingerichtet war, so dass sich Vertriebsmitarbeiter mit ihrem Laptop von außen per VPN einwählen konnten und im SAP arbieten konnten, welche Ursache für die lange Anmeldezeit war.
Nur allein wenn man den Netzwerkadapter dafür deaktiviert hat, konnten sich alle wieder ganz normal innerhalb von wenigen Sekunden anmelden.
Daraufhin haben wir darauf bestanden, dass dieser VPN-Zugang von der IT-Firma auf einen separaten Server ausgelagert wird.
Seit dem keine Probleme mehr.
Also, vielleicht mal schauen ob irgendwas in der Richtung auf dem Server läuft.

PSE 6 +extrem langsames Laden von Bildern

Hallo,Betriebssystem Vista+PSE6
nachdem ich ein Problem mit folgender Fehlermeldung (Die Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden,weil M2000Twn.dll nicht gefunden wurde) beim öffnen des Editors hatte,dieses nun gelöst zu sein scheint dauert es extrem lange bis die Bilder im Editor geöffnet weerden.
