Illustrator CC 2014 always crashes once i quit it, any help??

Every time i am done using Illustrator and quit it on Mac it says it has "quit unexpected" I can still save files but its still quite annoying. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Did you reinstall the full three step way, see 6) in the list, and did you delete font caches (see item 11) under 5) in the list?
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

6) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Illustrator CC 2014.1 crashes after interface loads up (Windows 8.1)

I was using illustrator cc 2014. It was working fine. But then i updated it to 2014.1. Now illustrator crashes everytime the interface loads up. It shows no error or anything. It loads up fine & crash. I even wiped out c drive & re-install windows. Still not working. Weird thing is that it is working fine on my second computer. I uninstalled it from my main pc & installed it on 2nd one. It works great. It only crashes on my main one. Please help!

Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 keeps crashing. How can I fix this?

My Illustrator CC 2014 program keeps quitting on me at random times and I can't figure out how to make it stop. I've already tried to redownload it and the problem is still there. I am an art student so I need to use this program regularly on my laptop. Does anyone know how to fix it? My macbook is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), Version 10.10.2 and works on OS X Yosemite. Any help would be wonderful I am desperate!

Just to make sure, are all the faces of the Verdana and Tahoma fonts installed and enabled/activated through the OS (not font mangement) as TTF (not OTF)?

Same here. I have never ever been able to quit FW CS4 the
regular way since the very sad day I installed it.
Furthermore, I experience crashes whenever I rearrange my
menue floaters (I already tried deleting my user prefs).

CS2 Crashes instead of opening. Any Help, please?

I have Adobe Illustrator CS2 and every time I try to get it to open, it crashes / does not open. By this I mean that I click on it and the start up screen appears. But when it comes time for the program to launch it does not. I do not get any error messages. It just does not open, and it appears as the program did before I clicked on it.
I also have Adobe InDesign CS2 and Adobe Photoshop CS2 both are still working fine. I tried calling Adobe customer support already. However, since my version of Illustrator is old they no longer offer customer service on it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem and to get Illustrator to open? I would really appreciate any help that people are able to offer. Thank you!

InDesign crashing when using type tool - any help?

Ive looked for this problem in the threads here but couldnt find the solution, only similar problems.
I use InDesign on OSX and it works fine until I use the type tool - in new or old documents. Then it crashes.
I tried reinstalling the program and uninstalling, also uninstalling the last fonts added to the system to no success.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Its CC and it was working perfectly.
I was on OSX Mavericks when I last edited documents.
I've updated the OS to Yosemite a few days ago. Illustrator and Photoshop worked perfectly on Yosemite.
I also installed a few fonts, which worked on Illustrator, if that's of any help.
I've uninstalled all the recent additions and tried using InDesign afterwards, but its still crashing.
I can post the error log I receive.

Frequent Indesign Crashing, CS6 and Now CC, any help for a fault finding novice?

I have been experiencing a lot of crashes, firstly with CS3 on my old system, then with CS6, then I upgraded to a new PC and still had CS6 crashes and now i have CC and still having similar issues.
My system is Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit, with 8GB Ram.
The crashing can happen upon Indesign boot, even with a simple 3Mb file opening and can also occur randomly mid work.

I hope you are running any of your InDesign versions at their most-recent patched version; not at their out-of-the-box versions. Click on Help > Update in InDesign in order to download and install the version patch.
Have you tried this? Opening the C:\Windows\Temp folder while no programs are running; selecting all the .tmp files and all the files beginning with a tilde (or really select all files and sub-folders within that folder) and delete them and then reboot your Windows machine and see if it feels better and runs InDesign more stably.
Another chicken-soup idea to investigate is to obtain a font utility software like FontDoctor. Run this investigative software on your installed fonts to see whether it finds a corrupt or partially corrupt font. Remove any such bad fonts. BTW, simply getting rid of old fonts is a good idea. Get rid of all your PostScript Type 1 fonts. Leave only OpenType fonts on your system.
Afterwards, maybe your system will crash less.

Pages always crashes when I quit the program

I am having similar crashing problems. After about 2 weeks using Pages/iWork 08, it's been crashing several times a day - after closing a document, after giving print command (it prints okay), perhaps even after giving the save command. Looking for answers, too...

Have you tried look at where the failure is? If you look into your Windows reliability history at the Photoshop crashes you may get a idea as to what is failing.

Premiere 2014 CC Crashing - Please direct me to any definitive answers

So I'm having the problem that many seem to be having with Premiere 2014 CC continually, continually crashing.
I'm wondering:
Has Adobe released any definitive statement as to exactly why this is happening, and exactly how to remedy the situation? I see a lot of random people saying "maybe try this...this might work for awhile...etc. etc. etc.", but in my search through the communities forums, I haven't seen anything official from Adobe. Granted I haven't had time to comb the forums because I'm on a GD deadline and I have to get what work I can done in the midst of this ridiculousness...

Sign out from Creative Cloud, restart Premiere Pro, then sign in

Ensure Adobe folder preferences are set to read/write in all 3 locations.
Delete media cache
Delete preview files
Remove plug-ins
If you have AMD GPUs, make sure CUDA is not installed
Repair permissions
In Sequence Settings > Video Previews, change the codec to one that matches your footage
Disconnect any third party hardware
If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
Disable App Nap
Reboot
Report back if anything here worked for you.

Apart from other files.
Lost to upgrade an existing file.

SpeedGrade Oct 2014 keeps crashing. Can't get any work done.

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 16 GB
System Type: 64-bit OS Windows 7

Direct link to speedgrade from prpro works for a few tweeks of color correction, then stops working. All was fine til the upgrade.

Hi Fran, I see the PM, but with this older machine connected via dial-up access to the message will be delayed until I am on my laptop at a compatible internet speed. My 'working' machine with Speedgrade is not connected to the internet.
I will try to respond here before my browser drops out and refreshes.
Speedgrade crashed on me numerous times consecutively, then I tried one more time and it worked fine. I was able to create my LOOKS, save and link back to Premiere Pro, where I have the similar problems as others. In Premiere things are slower then they were before the update. Just creating a multi-camera sequence is slow to move clips around on the timeline. Then to move edit points around is slow.
I do not need to go back to Speedgrade for awhile although I would like to if I knew it was stable. I need to spend my time in Premiere.
With my thoughts towards the whole update, I now am researching into my Samsung EVO 840 SSDs and the whole Performance Restoration firmware fix that Samsung has just released due to the read speeds deteriorating over time.
I wonder how many people have these EVO 840 drives and if the update triggered any unstability.
No, I have not tested my read and write speeds. I just know that it is another parameter where things could be going wrong. For me to run the Samsung fix means backing-up numerous TB of data as well as the operating system is a bit much to get into at present (as I have 5 EVO 840's).
