Illustrator CC 2014 trial download

I downloaded the trial version of Illustrator CC 2014 for evaluation, but I could not open the program. Before the initialization, it shut down and said it had a problem that had to be shut. I tried 5 times and the same thing happened. So I unistalled to try again. But now I am not able to do the download again. How should I proceed?

Just to make sure, are all the faces of the Verdana and Tahoma fonts installed and enabled/activated through the OS (not font mangement) as TTF (not OTF)?
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Illustrator CS5.1 trial download extracting...taking forever!

After I downloaded a trial version of Illustrator CS5.1, I got the following error message:
illustrator_15_1_LS1.dmg error -4960.
Then the extracting process started & it's been going on for over an hour! How can I stop this? I even shut down my MacBook Pro, but when I opened up the Adobe Download Assistant the extracting process is still showing. How do I stop this?

Illustrator CS6 Mac trial download

Installs and begins to run, then freezes after I've selected "continue with trial". The pallets open along the sides of the display but after that it hangs with the rainbow wheel spinning.
I'm running a Macbook with OSX 10.6.8.

check for a running adobe process (task manager in win, activity monitor in mac), especially a help process that's frozen and terminate it.
if you can't find one, abort the install, restart your computer and retry the install.

New Account - Trial Already Expired for Illustrator CC 2014

I've just created an Adobe ID yesterday, and when I went to try the Illustrator CC 2014 (after downloading CC and Illustrator CC 2014 on my Mac), my trial was said to have already expired. I've not even had this account but a day, yet it says my 30-day trial is gone without having even used the product. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Creative Cloud and Illustrator, but it still will not work. Any ideas?

Myriad Pro and Minion Pro didn't come with CC 2014 Trials, why?

I've downloaded the InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CC 2014 trials about a week ago, and today that I was working on a school project I noticed that Minion Pro was missing and that Myriad Pro only included the regular variant. Also, Source Sans Pro and other fonts that usually were installed alongside with the Adobe programs were not included at all. I'm using a MacBook Pro 13" (not retina display) and I haven't updated to Yosemite. I've read that someone is experiencing the same problem (See here) and that he recommends to download an older version to obtain the fonts. What should I do, I really need those and I'm willing to pay for the programs... but for the fonts that's way too much . HELP!

My illustrator CC 2014 trial will not open.
It gets stck on the following loading page...
I have re-booted my computer, signed out of creative cloud, done all software updates but still no progress.
Any suggestions to re-boot my illustrator would be more than welcome!

I have given up trying to solve this problem and gone back to Illustrator CC which works just fine. Every time I try to start up CC 2014, it gets stuck at that screen you see above and each time is is a different font. Reading fonts...various font name here. Sometimes it's an English font, sometimes it's an Asian alphabet font of which I have zero use for.
Maybe someday someone will figure out the problem and reply here. Or maybe I just made a suggestion to someone else trying to solve the problem and they'll just go back to CC as well. Keep paying for CC 2014 and use an old version. Good one Adobe.

Trial version of Illustrator CC 2014 takes over my CS6 old version and forces me to use CC 2014 on launch. How to fix? FIle> get info>won't let me choose >Open this file with CS6. Forces me to use CC 2014 Illustrator which I don't want because I am doing client work in CS6 that I own and I do not have time to try out the CC version.
I also do not like the black interface in illustrator as I cannot even see the layer icon at the bottom. I won't want to buy it if this is all that's offered.

You can change the UI brightness in the prefs. Otherwise I'm not clear what your issue is. Handling file associations are operating system basics and you can look them up on a simple web search and from drag&drop onto the launchpad/ dock icon for CS6 to opening the files directly from within AI there sure are enough alternatives, don't you think?

Did you have previous versions of the software on your system? No
Is the trouble with the download or the installation of the software? I am not sure but i think it may be the download. It shows that the download was complete and icon appears on the desktop. I plan to buy the ''Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium'' but i wanted to try it first via the free trials, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. So please let me know what i need to do.

Before reloading, I would try deleting the preferences. It may not help in this case, but it is worth a try.
In case you need help with that:
Reset Preferences
1) Close the program and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (not reversible)
or
2) Move the Folder. See:

Free trial of Illustrator CC, did not download but my Creative cloud lists it as an already downloaded desktop app. Please help!

Nevermind, super easy fix... I just 'Quit" CC, and reopened it. It recognized that Illustrator was not downloaded, so I simply clicked the available Trial download button, and it installed just fine.

Can't download Illustrator CC 2014.1

I can't download Illustrator CC 2014.1. It just doesn't show up in the Creative Cloud application. It just shows the old Illustrator CC 2014.

Have you checked Help>Updates within application.
Is it still not showing the Illustrator 2014.1 to update?
If you still don't see the update then rename the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file to AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat_old and
recheck the update with in application.

If you still facing the problem then SIGN OUT from Creative Cloud Desktop app and rename OOBE folder.

Using Explorer, navigate to \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Windows 64 bit
Using Explorer, navigate to \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
Mac OS
Using Finder, navigate to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/.
Important: Perform these steps in the system Library folder. If prompted, enter your Administrator password.
Rename OOBE to OOBE_old.
