Illustrator CC editing symbol goes infinite loop, how to get out of?

Hey all
I'm editing a fairly complex illustrator symbol instance (its a world map vector), and now I've gone to go back to the original artboard but for whatever reason the program can't get out of a PROGRESS / SAVE modal popup box and the progess bar fills, goes off screen then comes back on screen and fills again. (I can still see the symbol instance in the background and are not back at the original artboard yet.
Any way to get out of this without having to CTRL + ALT + Delete and close the program and restart?
I'm on WIndows 7
Any hlep would be great

You could provide a sample . ai file, so other users may inspect it and see if they can observe the same issue as you do.

Forms information:
FRM-15500: Valid and unique object name must be entered.
Cause: Object name must be a valid Oracle identifier and unique within its scope.
Action: Enter a valid and unique name. I solved that problem when I changed the name of my canvas.
About size of windows, just change the height and width in the property palette (canvas & window)

When it goes full screen try moving the mouse up to top right of scren & see if there a double diagonal Arrow to click on.
On the other see if it's the silly implentation of Spaces/Mission Control/Expose in ML...

I just got my new Q5 (Traded in Curve) \i figured out most of the phone but have not been able to figure out how to get out of App's like Twitter or any browser Apps once \i am in there. I used to have the nice little "back button" on the Curve but no more Back Button on this one Ive tried swipping every which way but loose with no luck. Even when I am in my photos, I can figure out how to go back to the main menu (other than to turn the phone off and turn it back on) Is there a Back button somewhere or is my phone just not working right. please help

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try on another computer

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

If it is then you just need to select "Normal Boot" (1st picture) or "Reboot System Now" (2nd picture) to get out and boot into the OS without losing data.
