Illustrator CC trial version on mac

I am new in illustrator, I am using the CC trial version, I have noticed that I cannot access the layers, Is that because the version is trial, so if I will subscribe the layers option will be available in CC version.

Suddenly I have found that the layers are available, I don't know how it appears.

Using my Personal Domain Name on a trial version of .Mac?

Okay, I have a trial version of .mac, and am very happy with it. I used Iweb to build a good website for my artwork, and I'm all set to publish. But I want to put my registered domain name to my new site, so when you type the simple domain name (ex: "www.site.com") my .mac site that I built on Iweb will show up.
I have a previously-built site hosted by a different company where my domain name used to point. After calling the company where I bought the domain name, they had me redirect the name so it points to .mac. It didn't work. When I type in my domain name (ex:"www.site.com"), the old site comes up.
I went onto the help section of Iweb, which says to log into .mac, and in the account info section, press a button that says something about personal domains. _THERE IS NO BUTTON THERE_!!! Is it becuase I only have the trial version of .mac? I intend to buy the full version, but I wanted to play with my free trial memebership first. If I have to, though, I'll just buy the full version so I can add my personal domain name to the .mac site.
Has anyone come across the answer for this? I'm inexperienced with hosting and domains and all that...the answers I've gotten from emails are like greek to me. Can anyone help?

Yes.
You should still be able to point your personal name to your .Mac site via ordinary forwarding/masking, where you normally just type http://web.mac.com/username into a form at the place which holds your name.

I am having this same exact problem. I have a mid-2011 iMac (latest model) 3.4 GHz i7, 20GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB. All of the other effects seem to work fine, but i have this same issue with all of the garbage mattes. I have just seen this thread and am wondering if there has been any progress or insights to finding a solution. I do use 4 point masks that are not exasctly square/rectangular so the crop work around won't exactly work for me. I can also make a shape and use an image mask but that takes a bit longer than a quick garbage mask.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

(!) Windows
on your Mac, which will then likely allow you to run
Authorware in it's
required Windows environment on your Mac.

Trouble with Illustrator CS5 Trial Installation on Mac

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to install the trial version of Illustrator CS5. I am using the Adobe Download Assistant and it has produced an error.
The error is number 4960 and it says that the disk image for Illustrator could not be opened.
If anyone could help me with this, that would be great!

Nickyonmac111 error 4960 is a Mac OS error indicating your DMG file is corrupted. I would recommend you remove the Adobe Download Assistant and try the download again. You might also want to try saving to a different location when prompted.

I tried the instructions below, but the download has been hanging for almost an hour and not progressing at all - so it seems to not be working...any other solutions? im trying to download the trial version of captivate on my mac, the akamai netsession interface is now on my desktop, i go through installation, it makes that happy sound and says the installation was successful, but nothing actually happens, no new folders or documents, or applications, seems like sort of a dead end.
To investigate i clickedon Akamai in "other" of my system preferences is tells me the status is "forbidden" but I am the administrator and i have never used this free trial before, so why am I "forbidden?"

Hi Inkwoman, Thank you for contacting Adobe Support. Please use the below mentioned steps to download and install Captivate 6 for MAC :
First click on the URL below http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en_us&product=captivat e
Then login with you Adobe ID and Password (if needed).
Then Copy and Paste the mentioned below URLs one by one in the same window as shown below:                           http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/CPTV/6/osx10/Captivate_6_LS12.d mg Then Press Enter Key from the keyboard and save the above mentioned file one by one in any folder created on to the desktop.
Then click on the DMG file to extract and install Captivate 6.
Once the folder gets extracted and install Adobe Captivate 6

I have a director MX and I want to try new version Director 12. I had download the trial version and I installed it, but when I launch it doesn't start.
Anyone could help me?

Hi Mark,
Well, something is corrupt. The problem remains even after signing on
as another user. Now, another machine (also a quad core G5) is having
the same problem. This second mac has not shared files with the first one. Sometimes the glyphs from the fonts are just not
there, and at other times they are replaced with symbols.
One can immediately view the pdf properly and without error by opening it
with Acrobat.
So this problem is intermittent (it goes away for a while after rebooting),
occurs whenever pdfs are viewed with Preview (e.g. from within Safari
or straight loadad into Preview). This is getting very very annoying.
I'm begining to think that only a total re-install will solve the problem,
but since it is now happening on a second machine, I'm worried that
something more insidious is happening.

Is the cc trial version same as the membership one, and the same as cc6? and I found so different Win version from mac is that correct or is just the membership version that`s "full"?

The trial version that you download on MAC would be the same as that of a full verison but the only difference would be that the trial version is good for only 30 days . The functionality of the product would remain unchanged uptill 30 days .
The CC version remains the same as that of the membership one but there is a slight difference about the benefits and the services that you get . For eg , with a trial version you will only get 2 gb of data storage and nothing more than that and a full version would get you 20 GB .YOu can check rest of the details at the below mentioned website.
