I am unable to work on docs in adobe as the toolbar does not appear when I tap on the doc.

i did not see a solution posted - I tired what I read. Going back to an old version may solve the problem but it is a stupid solution so I have yet to do that.

Uninstall version 5, then Google "google toolbar version 4", follow the link to FileHippo.com, and download and install the last version 4. When you reinstall it, make sure you turn off the option to perform automatic updates.

The download icon from my Adobe Illustrator CS2 disk does not appear on my laptop. Where can I find it? How can I download the program?

When I load my Adobe Illustrator CS2 disk onto my recently reconfigured laptop, the icon to download and install the program does not appear. I have tried opening it through a Finder window, but haven't had any success. How can I download this program to my computer?

Is there a way to export my movie timeline (as in the organisation of my
clips, not just the movie) to a external hard drive. I thought publish
would help but I'm unsure and the export button under file doesn't light
up. I'm using Elements 11 and I'm trying to save it to a hard drive so I
can unistall the program, upgrade my operating system and reinstall.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of RoboForm from the Web site. Also, please note that FireFox automatically disables toolbars now and you must go to the FireFox dropdown menu and click on Add-Ons. Make sure the RF extension is enabled.

Developer toolbar does not appear with SHIFT-F2 in Fullscreen

Bookmarks Toolbar does not appear in "Show All Bookmarks"

I keep all my bookmarks in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. All are intact and functional. They appear to back up properly (i.e., viewing a newly-created json file with MS Notepad, I find nothing to suggest that anything is missing). BUT, I can't actually view/organize these (or any other) bookmarks in the Library. After clicking "Show All Bookmarks," the main Library pane that opens is empty. In the navigation pane at the left, there is an entry "+ All Bookmarks," suggesting there's an expandable tree there. Clicking on the "+" has no effect; no expanded tree in the Nav pane, no bookmarks in the main pane. In short, I have no way to organize my existing bookmarks, even though they are intact and functional.

I tried your SafeMode suggestion. There was no change in the performance of the Bookmark Library; it still opens blank and the "+ All Bookmarks" will not expand.
I skimmed through a few hundred other questions and answers and found a handful of others with what appears to be a similar problem. I'm currently looking at this:

I tried the backup/restore solution. I creating a new backup, verifying that it was current by adding a new bookmark just before backing up, and then checking the json file to be sure it was there. No problem. I did a restore: all bookmarks look like they're still OK, but there was no change in the performance of the Library window.
I'll try CHKDSK next, before I attempt a full rebuild of places.sqlite.

This was the issue.
The docs describe AVAppGetToolbar as:
"Retrieves a special toolbar representing the union of all toolbars in the system....If this toolbar is passed to AVToolBarAddButton(), the newly added button will actually be placed on the File menu, unless it is being positioned next to an existing button, in which case it will be placed on the same toolbar as the existing button."
Perhaps when I looked for the "endToolsGroup" button, it added it to an unexpected toolbar? Dunno.
AVAppGetToolBarByName("File") worked great.

Toolbar does not appear except for little arrows for drop down

Premier Elements 8 running on Windows 7 - on the top of the page the organizer icon appear (small box containing smaller boxes) and then there's a blank space for few inches, them a small right arrow with a dropdown icon. When i click the arrow there's drop down with what appears to be all the standard options (file, edit, etc)
how do i get the icon buttons to appear accross the toolbar??

Perfect - the fix for windows 7 is to select "use system fonts" under the general preferences tab and then restart the program!

My plugins and toolbars will not appear.

I have the ChaCha stats clicker plug in which only appears once every 20 times i open Firefox and the yahoo toolbar plug which also rarely appears. I have the facebook toolbar which is always there but everything else i have to hope that it appears when i open Firefox. What could be wrong?!?! I also cant seem to open multiple windows!! Is something blocking my Firefox from these tasks? Could an opposing plugin be affecting Firefox in this way?

I have Windows 7. The Firefox button to bring up my toolbar does not appear anywhere. I can bring up the toolbar?

I cannot find how to access the Firefox toolbar on my Windows 7 desktop. There is no Firefox 'Button' that I see.

Firefox either displays the Firefox Button, which in turn produces a drop down menu, or it displays the older menu toolbar.
On windows pressing or holding the Alt key should temporarily display the menu bar,, even if the Firefox button is displayed.

Remove alcoholsoft toolbar. does not appear in list of plug-ins

Following recommended procedure did not work.
1. opened firefox
2. clicked on tools
3. clicked on add ons
4.clicked on plug-ins
Alcohol soft was not listed, so I could not highlight and disable

I stumbled on the solution, which is to Uninstall Freedowloads.net. It was very confusing because I was looking for something named Alcoholxx
If I had trusted the Alcohol site, it lists this Uninstall procedure.

Adobe toolbar in Office 2007 not appearing

The "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" is listed as an active add-in, but the toolbar is not displayed. Are there any other steps to try outside of that above article? I've ran repairs on Office & Adobe Acrobat, re-registered the add-in, re-installed Adobe Acrobat... none on this has resolved my issues.

Easy-webprint ex: toolbar not appearing despite being "ticked"

I run Windows 7 64 bit and use Internet Explorer 9. Printer is MG8250
Some weeks ago I downloaded Easy-webprint EX version 1.3.5.0 and it worked fine. I could get the toolbar to appear or disappear in the normal way ie via View/Toolbars then ticking or unticking its entry on the list.
Today I decided to use it for the first time in several weeks. I went through the normal process to make the toolbar appear so that I could use the software but ticking it had no effect, or at least no effect that was visible on the screen.
I then tried re-downloading the software but the situation remained the same ie I can't get the toolbar to appear.
Any ideas why the toolbar is not appearing?

I have managed to make the toolbar appear by doing the following:
- removed (unticked) the Google toolbar and the Easy-web toolbar appeared magically in its place.
- re-installed (ticked) the Google toolbar and it appeared in addition to the Easy-web toolbar
I can now happily hide/display the Easy-web toolbar without any need to remove the Google toolbar.
I've still no idea why i had this problem in the first place but all seems to be fine now

Norton Toolbar 5.5 shows as enabled but does not appear as toolbar. Norton Security 2011 has been re-installed w/o correcting problem. Toolbar shows on IE.

Norton Toolbar works on my netbook (Windows XP) but suddenly stopped appearing on Firefox on my desktop (Windows 7). Both are running Firefox V3.6.13. On the View/Toolbars the Norton toolbar does not appear as an option.
I rely on the Norton toolbar and will have to switch to IE (ughhhh!!!) if I cannot restore the toolbar to Firefox.

Tools > Addons > Extensions - does that Norton extension appear in that listing?

That answer from Norton wasn't accurate. IE uses a different version of the Norton toolbar than Firefox needs.
