Illustrator Cs5/Cs6: problème illustration détaillée.

Je vous explique mon problème.
J'ai commencé Photoshop et Illustrator avec la version Cs5, je ne fais que du dessin en noir et blanc et j'avais l'habitude de vectoriser mes productions avec l'option présente sur Illustrator Cs5 nommée "illustration détaillée", qui permettait un rendu vectorisé quasi-identique à celui de mes dessins, qui sont composés de lignes très fines (parfois trois ou quatre pixels) que je travaille toujours sur 300 dpi.
Depuis que j'ai installé Cs6, j'ai bien sûr remarqué que l'option "vectorisation détaillée" avait été enlevée (incommensurable incompréhension, c'est peu dire), et qu'aucune des options proposées n'égalait (même de très loin) la finesse de vectorisation de cette option dans Cs5
Est-ce que quelqu'un sait donc s'il est possible sur Illustrator Cs6 d'obtenir une vectorisation égalant celle détaillée de Cs5 (en triturant les options ou autre?) ou vais-je devoir réinstaller et utiliser celle de Cs5?

Ce que je tenterais dans le cas de plantages récurrents, c'est principalement une réinstallation de l'application, il se peut qu'à la première installation, certains fichiers aient été corrompus en lecture et écriture, provoquant les désagréments rencontrés.
Quant à la migration des préférences, parfois bien utile, peut-être que la fonction "d'enregistrer sous" pointe sur un dossier/fichier qui a été supprimé depuis…

Certain applications run in he background and we cannot see them.
To close such application
For windows
Right Click on the bottom taskbar and click Start Task manager.
In Applications Tab look for Adobe Bridge If found Right Click on it and select End Task
If Not then go to the second ab "Processes" and then look for Adobe Bride.exe when you get it, Right click and select End Process.
For Mac:-
In spotlight search for Activity monitor
launch Activity Monitor and select Adobe Bridge and Click on Quit Process.

I still have one machine configured with CS5 and Nucleo Pro, because it offers some functionality that AE->AME workflow does not.
AME is a great way to background render individual output files, but it lacks the sophistication of the Render Queue when you need to render specifics and multiple files. I have an ongoing job that requires the weekly generation of around 30 categories of an award show. Each category (project) requires the output of two video files and two stills from specific parts of the timeline of one comp. These output parameters, including output formats, locations and in-out points, are stored in the project template's Render Queue. As far as I'm aware, there's no easy way to move all these parameters to AME easily - a great deal of manual interaction would be required to generate each of the 120 output files from 30 projects each week. Whereas, using Nucleo I just hit render and keep working. It's literally a one click workflow.
It's a shame there isn't a "Send After Effects Render Queue to Adobe Madia Encoder" function. I must lodge a feature request.
Nucleo Pro does a great job of background rendering, and I do miss it's availability in later versions of AE. There is also a script available over at AE Scripts that background renders.

W7 64 LR4.1 CS5 CS6: correct folder for .lcp profiles

I have lcp files in :
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.1\Resources\LensProfiles\1.0\
and in :
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\
and in :
C:\Users\All Users\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\
Is this normal ?
Can I delete some of these folders ?
Where should I add my own .lcp profiles ?

The first LR4.1 location is for LR4/CS6…the location changed to within the application folder.
The second ProgramData location is from CS5 when they were still in a common location.
The third one is your own profiles you’ve created or downloaded, so they won’t get overwritten with every new ACR or LR install.
You could test if a particular set is needed for a particular product by temporarily renaming the low-level xxxxProfiles folder and seeing if ACR or PS-Lens-Corrections or LR still sees the profiles.

Available ram setting in photoshop cs5 / cs6 / cc

hello,
i would like to know if the ram setting slider in photoshop preferences/setting is meant to be for all
the available ram in the computer or all available ram, which stays free from all other sametime running apps?
for example, if i run osx 10.8 or 10.9, i use to run ONLY photoshop and no other app besides, so the
finder would need maybe 2 or 3 GB RAM, and the rest is for photoshop.
does the ram setting count with finder ram consumption or without?
my imac has 32GB RAM - so, if i set ram to 70% (out of 32GB) in photoshop settings, the finder can use 30% of 32GB, yes?
anyway, it wont show "available ram is 32GB" in the settings, it shows less than 32GB would be available, so
is this the answer to my question?
could i set it to 80% or 90%, when i only run photoshop (cs5 / cs6 / cc) and no other app besides? (only the 10.8.5 or 10.9 finder)
or would this mean performance lags in photoshop?

I would go with the suggested ram settings in the memory slider. Going over can affect other programs other than the finder and in my experience, I have never seen much of a benefit.
You have 32 GB so you can give it a try and if you run Mt. Lion,look at the Activity Monitor and see how it affects the memory allocated to the system. Look at your Page outs to Page ins. Page outs should be 20% or less of Page ins. Some prefer 5%. The less the faster your machine will perform.

mac OSのバージョンをYOSEMITEにアップグレードしてから
Photoshop CS5・CS6に共通して出始めた症状なのですが
解決法が見つからず困っています。
【症状】
コピースタンプなどのペイント系のツールを使用する際、
カーソルのポインタが「ブラシサイズの表示」と「矢印表示」を
チカチカと交互に繰り返して表示してしまい、非常に作業がしづらい状況に。
※チカチカしている状態の画像を掲載したいのですが、
　カーソルを止めてしまうと収まってしまうため
　スクリーンショットがとれませんでした。
【症状発生まで】
アプリケーション立ち上げ時は、症状が出ないのですが
他のアプリケーション（illustlator等）と併用した場合に
症状が出始め、環境設定のカーソルの設定を変更しても
症状が治まらなくなってしまいます。
また、アプリケーションを再起動しても症状が出てしまいます。
現状の解決方法は、macそのものを再起動するという方法しかなく
カーソルの表示バグが出るたびに再起動を行っている状況です。
解決方法ご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら
教えていただけましたら幸いです。

Does upgrading to creative cloud invalidate my perpetual cs5/cs6 license?

We currently have 5 iMacs and 1 PC using CS5 / CS6 on a perpetual license however we are looking in to upgrading all users to creative cloud, would this invalidate the perpetual license's we currently have or will they be unaffected?

You are entitled to discount since you are an existing CS customer.

Adobe Creative CloudはCS6以降が自由に使えるもので、それ以前のバージョンにはダウングレードできなかったと思われます。ただし、CS5.5をライセンス版（CLP / TLP）で購入されている場合は、申請することで可能なようです。

Autoblend question layers question cs5/cs6

i have a question about autoblend question
i have to say that autoblend in cs5 , cs6 work very well
but may i know which is the component that handles about blend many layers?
there is a script but there are few lines of code
is there a plugin ? in a components? in hardcoded in the program?
because it gives great results but i have not a lot of conrol in this process
i don't like hdr , i like blend many exposure
i know only photomatix that gives me some control and enfuse
but in photoshop i can 't find a way to control the blending process

I don't have a definitive answer, but I have a feeling that a student teacher version is not eligible for an upgrade discount. You own the CS5 perpetual license, and can install it on two computers at the same time as CS6, CC etc. That will be the case in perpetuity. (not sure why I didn't just type 'forever' back there, or alert the cliche police 'Going forward')
Photoshop CS6 Extended will cost you just shy of US$1600 according to this Amazon page The non extended version does not give you the 3D tools, and Photoshop CC comes as the full extended version as standard. If you got the Photoshop / Lightroom Photography plan at a mere $10 a month, the price of CS6 would keep you subscribed for > three years. Photoshop CC has a lot of wonderful features CS6 does not have, and will never have, and CC will be be constantly updated 'in perpetuity'. ;-) $10 a month! Heck, what's not to like about that?!!!

Illustrator CS6 - problème (edit)

Bonjour,
J'utilise Illustrator depuis quelque temps déjà pour réaliser les graphiques de mes cours et je précise que je n'ai jamais rencontré le moindre problème avec la suite CS5. Mon ordinateur est sous l'OS W7 Pro 64 bits (16 Go de RAM).
Par contre Illustrator CS6 me pose beaucoup de problèmes. Je parviens à ouvrir un fichier et sauvegarder par la commande Ctrl+S mais ne me permet pas de sauvegarder un fichier (nouveau ou ancien) en 'enregistrant sous', le logiciel cesse de fonctionner et suis obligé d'utiliser le gestinnaire de Windows pour l'arrêter... très embêtant pour un nouveau fichier car impossible à sauvegarder. Bref, logiciel inutilisable... Avez-voius rencontré ce même problème ?

Edit: J'ai supprimé les préférences d'Illustrator CS6, préférences que le logiciel a créées à partir des préférences de CS5 et la fonction de sauvegarde semble maintenant fonctionner correctement... Pourquoi le logiciel a-t-il fonctionné quelque temps avant de royalement planter ??

Adobe Illustrator CS3, CS4, CS5, CS6 and CC failed to install. Error 7.

About a year ago I've updated my OS to Mountain Lion (if I remember well) and Illustrator stopped working. So I've uninstalled it and tried to install it again but it didn't worked. The installation failed every time. I've tried every Illustrator from CS3 to CC but nothing worked. And I just gave up, but now I really really need the program and I'm not good at fixing things on my Macbook, so is there someone who can give me a hand?
PS. I'm getting an "error 7" when I try to install it.

CS5/CS6 Illustrator suitcase font problems

We have been having incompatibility issues with Suitcase fusion 3 and Illustrator CS5 from months now. Now Illustrator CS6 has launched, we are having the same issues.
Upon startup we load all our suitcase fonts then open Illustrator CS5, We also have to have auto activation turned completely off as it is too unpredictable. I would say 40% of the time fonts will load correctly and no issues will occur. The rest of the time the fonts load but in Illustrator a warning message is displayed when a text box is clicked:
'This text was created in a different version of Illustrator. Editing the text may cause some changes to your text layout. Basic formatting will not be affected. Do you want to continue?'
If the message is clicked 'OK' the text will reflow and the text box will bust with a small red plus symbol in the bottom right hand corner
If I quit Illustrator without saving and reopen, the message will not be displayed and no reflow will occur.
So its as if Illustrator cannot load the fonts from Suitcase correctly 100% of the time the first time it is opened.
Also if the document is saved when the fonts are not loaded correctly the error will be saved into the document, meaning any other Mac that opens that file, regardless of the fonts they use, will have the error appear.
Does Adobe have a fix for this? Is Suitcase fusion 3 incompatible with CS5+6?

Maybe not the most helpful answer but I stopped using Suitcase years ago and moved over to Linotype's FontExplorer. The decision was based on similar issues to the one you're having. I remember always having to open documents, then close them, then reopen them in order to get the fonts to activate.
Since you're not using activation, I have no idea why a font that is supposed to be open is not recognized by Illustrator until after restarting Illus. It's possible that your font caches are corrupt, you can easily clean them to see if that's the issue. Doubtful since you seem to indicate that it's affecting multiple machines, but you never know.
What version of Illustrator were the files created in? There was a change to the type engine with, I think, CS2 that would cause that warning to come up, but even that wouldn't explain why it would only come up once.
I don't know that anyone here is still using suitcase, most having moved to Font Agent Pro or FontExplorer but maybe someone will chime in.

Illustrator CS5/CS6 on OSX 10.9.1 - Issue with loading fonts.

I'm using Illustrator CS6 on OSX 10.9.1. Ever since I've upgraded to OSX Mavericks, Illustrator has stopped loading some of the document fonts even though they are enabled and available for other applications. I get the font missing dialog every time I open the artboard after a system restart. I usually resolve this by opening the Font Book app, disabling and re-enabling the fonts. This refreshes the artboard and the fonts then appear to work as normal. Initially, I suspected a compatability issue with Illustrator CS5 and OSX Mavericks, but after upgrading to CS6, I continue to have the same issue. The fonts in question are ttfs and these worked fine previously.
How can I fix this?

i tried remove and intall many times and changed computer. but still has problem.
i can not see any error boxes. so event viewer is clear.

Memory : 8 Gb
VGM : GeForce GT 310

What files are you working on? Using any third-party plug-ins? Using specific fonts? Programs don't just crash at random, least of all on different systems. There must be some specific cause.
