Illustrator CS5 - Zoomer avec la molette de la souris

Bonjour à tous,
Petite question...dans la version d'illustrator 15.0.0 (CS5), y a-t-il un moyen de zoomer ou dézoomer avec la molette de la souris ?

En effet la touche ALT aide pas mal. L'astuce (qui dépend peut-être de ma souris) est de donner deux petits coups de roulette consécutifs avec la touche ALT...ça permet de zoomer et de dézoomer mais pas de manière fluide comme en CS3 par ex.

Je travaille avec Illustrator CS5 sur Windows 7 64bit.
Suite au changement de ma souris, la molette ne fonctionne pas avec Illustrator. Aucun problème avec d'autres logiciels, y compris Photoshop CS5 et Indesign CS5.
Quelqu'un a-t-il été confronté au problème ?
Y a-t-il une solution ?

J'ai trouvé la solution à mon problème.
En réalité, je me suis trompé dans ma première réponse lorsque j'ai dit qu'il n'y avait pas de pilote à installer.
Je fais un résumé pour ceux qui seraient confrontés au problème.
Pour information, ma souris est une Microsoft Wireless Mouse 1000 qui pose des problèmes de défilement, de zoom et même de changement de taille pour les caractères ou les lignes.
La solution à ce problème est d'installer le logiciel Microsoft Intellipoint.

Je n'ai pas fait de réglage particulier, le problème s'est résolu de lui-même après installation.

Illustrator CS5 Mac OS X 10.6.7 terribly slow

Hello,
I have an iMac 27", Intel I7, 8 GB of RAM and use Mac OS 10.6.7.
Using Illustrator CS5 on my machine is not really fun since it is slow, cannot work fluently.
I designed a simple A6 page double sided. Using the hand-tool to move inside a zoomed view is terribly slow.
The screen is updated not real time but only arround once per second.
Every few minutes I save my changes to prevent any loss (e.g. AI crahses, Mac OS X crashes etc.).
But thsi is also very slow, it takes arround one minute ore more.
My drawing just consists of a logo, a background object (using an effekt), and a few images (already sized down in PhotoShop).
But as I told you, it is really slow. One more: If I scale the background square (that one with the effect), Illustrator starts to recalculate the effect, which is again, slow, slow, slow! May I should mention that I use arround 1200 fonts, is this a problem?
I heared that since OS X this should be not a problem. If yes what can I do (I really need lots of fonts)?
I already read the Adobe help to improve performance in OS X and Illustrator, but on my machine everything is already done, still slow.
Just to let you know, on same Mac I have a virtual machine using Parallels. The machine consists of Windows 7 and Corel Garphics Suite X5.
Corel works really fast.
Is this typical that Illustator CS5 is slow on Mac? What can I do?

Thanks for sharing the file. I checked it out in Illustrator CS5 on my system,
which has less memory and a lower-performance CPU than yours.
Yes, you are using a lot of memory-intensive effects, but the zoom and
pan performance on my system seemed fairly smooth, and I wouldn't
say it was sluggish. In fact, it seems pretty usable for a 66 MB file, at
least as far as I could see.
I did notice a few things you might want to check on your end:
You are linking to several image files. I can see the preview images but obviously not the originals at this end. (That's OK for now.) The link to the black-and-white photo of the old car is apparently referencing an unusual location. You might want to confirm in the Links palette that the file ("2BJWW1.tif") is linking to the correct original file at the proper location by relinking the file. (It might be a good idea to have all of your assets in the same folder as well, for organizational purposes.)
The composite effects that you use on the "Bei Vorlage..." message at the bottom of artboard 2, "Rückseite" seems a bit complex and slow to render, and could be rasterized to display faster. Select the object, choose "Object - Rasterize" from the menu bar and set the options as necessary. (Actually, I'm not sure if this will have a great impact, but you could try it and see.) If you use this option, be sure to (a) keep your original object, preferably in a separate file; and (b) rasterize at the PPI setting that you will be printing at.
Likewise, the bottom "Hintergrund" layers could be rasterized as well. You're using the Sponge ("Schwamm") effect on artboards 1 and 2, which is fairly performance-intensive and requires a redraw whenever you touch other elements of the appearance.
Finally, I noticed you are using some unusual fonts, which is of course fine if the font files themselves are installed and working properly. As an experiment, try selecting all objects on the document and run the Type - Create Outlines command. (Do this on a copy of your file to be safe. You should be able to undo, however.) This will render all of the text as vectors, but it will also remove all dependencies of document to specific fonts. If this results in significant speed improvements, it's possible that you have some corrupt or incompletely installed fonts.
As for the document raster effects settings, that is found under the Effect menu in CS5. (Perhaps you have a German version of AI... ?)
Changing this to a lower number (like 72 dpi for screen) will not harm your document and may speed up performance (it only had a very
small effect on my system, however), and you can always change it back to the original setting before sending it to the printer.
Do you notice slowness in any other applications besides Illustrator?
Also, is the file stored on your hard disk, or are you accessing the file from an external hard disk?
Finally, have you changed the location of your scratch disk? Go to Illustrator - Preferences - Plug-ins and Scratch Disks.
The default primary scratch disk should be your startup system drive.

Illustrator CS5 - Exportation - fichier .jpg

Dans mon illustration j'ai quelques éléments qui excèdent le plan de travail. Lors de l'exportation pour obtenir un fichier jpg, j'ai 2 bandes blanches à gauche et en haut qui correspondent aux éléments excédentaires. Par contre, si j'utilise l'option "enregistrer pour le web et périphériques", j'ai aucun problème. J'ai l'illustration au format jpg sans les éléments exécendaires et sans les bandes blanches. Cependant, la résolution est trop petite pour obtenir une impression papier de qualité.
Comment fait-on pour que l'exportation se crée uniquement avec les éléments du plan de travail?

Peut-être il est également préférable si vous contactez le forum illustrator CS5, parce que je travaille avec illustrator CS4. Employés Adobe collaborent régulièrement à ce forum, et ils devraient être en mesure de vous aider à comprendre les capacités de illustrator CS5 de manière plus approfondie, notamment en ce qui concerne les choses que vous voulez.

Illustrator CS5.1 à cessé de fonctionner

Bonjour,
Je suis nouveau sur le forum Adobe.
Je viens de téléchager la version d'évaluation de Illustrator. Je les installer.
Ensuite, je l'ouvre. (Jusqu'a la tout va bien).
Dès que je veux créer un nouveau projet (Fichier/Nouveau...), ou avec CTRL+N, windows m'affiche une fenetre et me dit que illustrator à cessé de fonctionner.
Je suis sous Windows 7, avec 3Go de ram.

j'ai le même problème et j'ai essayé votre méthode pour réinitialiser les paramètres, mais aucune fenêtre ne s'ouvre... Parfois, la fenêtre du programme rapetisse dans un coin, parfois rien ne se passe, mais dans aucun cas une autre fenêtre s'ouvre...
Le problème n'est pas constant, parfois le programme fonctionne pendant plusieurs heures, mais la majorité du temps il ferme avec le même message d'erreur: Illustrator Cs5.1 a cessé de fonctionné... Parfois c'est en l'ouvrant, parfois c'est quand j'ouvre Photoshop, parfois c'est en ouvrant un nouveau document, bref, c'est une surprise à chaque fois!
L'ordinateur a été vérifié au complet, je suis passé de 32 bits à 64 bits, j'ai upgradé mon Windows de XP à 7, la RAM a été augmenté jusqu'à 8 go, avant j'avais la version CS4 en français, j'ai essayé les trials CS5 français et finalement CS5 anglais.
Et hier, Acrobat s'est mis de la partie!

Plantage Illustrator CS5 V15.0.2 lors de la sauvegarde

Je viens vers vous car je rencontre un soucis avec illustrator CS5 depuis peu. Je m'explique :
Lorsque je crée un projet, et que je travail ce projet a 100% (sans import d'éléments externes par exemple), je peux sauvegarder mon travail.
En revanche si je crée un document et que j'importe un fichier existant dedans, au moment de la sauvegarde, illustrator cesse de fonctionner, et Windows 7, mets un "placard" disant qu'illustrator a cessé de fonctionner, et qu'il va tenter de m'apporter une solution pour résoudre mon problème.
Même soucis lorsque j'ouvre un document existant pour modification, si je masque par exemple un calque, je vois apparaitre en haut de la barre de menu, (ne répond pas), puis j'ai le message d'erreur de Win 7.
J'ai testé mes fichier sur le poste d'un collégue (avec Win Xp), et la ça fonctionne parfaitement.
Avez vous une idée sur l'origine de mon problème, ou une piste me permettant de résoudre de soucis.

Arret et redemarrage des services d'impression dans windows, puis redemarrage du Pc.
2 options :
ouvrir la fenêtre dos, et saisir : net stop spooler, attendre 2 secondes puis saisir net start spooler
ou dans demarrer, executer, services.msc puis dans les services trouver les services d'impressions, clic droit et redemarrer.
Voila, c'est aussi simple que ça.
Numériquement.

Illustrator CS5 display performance of fine lines and patterns

Hi,
is there a way to improve the display performance in Illustrator CS5? I am working on a large piece which has a lot of very fine cross-hatching that I create with dotted .5 lines (why I'm using Illustrator rather than Photoshop for that isn't open for discussion ). It looks fine when saved as a jpeg or exported to Photoshop, but in Illustrator itself the lines show up significantly thicker and darker - which is very confusing. Switching to Overprint/Pixel Preview doesn't change much.
I've taken a couple of screenshots (taken at 16% zoom) to illustrate what I mean.

Also I've noticed the same problem with pattern tiles - when zoomed out to ~50% they start to lose their seemlessness (and look like an incomprehensible mess)

it's a very large file so I export it at 72ppi. But exporting isn't a problem - regardless of what resolution I export it at the lines always look smoother and softer in Photoshop. Zooming in at 100% in Illustrator gives an accurate display (exactly the same as in PS, I compared the two), it's only when I zoom out that the lines start to look rough and jagged.

aujourd'hui je reinstalle mon MAC avec un nouveau SSD et mountain lion mais je ne trouve plus où retelecharger illustrator CS5
avez vous une idee comment faire ?

Comme JMLevy l'a expliqué, Adobe ne met à disposition les logiciels qu'aux personnes qui en ont la licence, via leur espace personnel et leur Adobe ID.
Seules les versions actuelles sont disponibles en version d'essai, ce qui semble logique, s'agissant des seules versions mises en ventes par Adobe.
Auparavant, j'avais trouvé des anciennes versions sur le FTP: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe , mais il vous faudra peut-être fureter, et il me semble que ce ne soit pas toujours le cas pour les versions plus récentes.

Probleme selection objet illustrator CS5

Bonjour
Petit soucis de selection sur Illustrator CS5.
Cela concerne l'objet en lui meme... je n'arrive pas à le selectionner ni à le bouger sur ma page à part en le maintenant sur les tranches.
J'ai essayé d'afficher ou de masquer le bord de selection... rien à faire.
Que ce soit une image ou un bloc coloré, pareil impossible de la bouger avec la fleche noir en le cliquant dans son interieur.

Problème décalage et script - illustrator CS5

Bonjour à tous,
J'ai un souci avec la fonction décalage dans illustrator CS5.
Quand je fais "objet -> tracé -> décalage" et que je valide, j'obtiens un décalage sur mon tracé, puis j'inverse la sélection, je fais "édition -> effacer" et j'obtiens exactement ce que je veux.
Mais dès que j'essaye d'intégrer ces étapes dans un script pour automatiser la tâche, dès que le script arrive au décalage au lieu de me sélectionner uniquement le décalage, ca me sélectionne toute mon tracé. Et du coup quand le script arrive à la fonction "supprimer", cela me supprime tout...
Je cherche donc un moyen de selectionner uniquement mon décalage, ou uniquement mon contour... J'espère que je suis assez clair...
Quand j'exécute la fonction "manuellement" (sans l'usage d'un script), j'arrive à obtenir exactement ce que je veux. Quand j'éxecute cette fonction depuis un script tout mon traçé est sélectionné, et ma forme disparait de l'écrant.
J'ai joint à ce post des screenshots pour que vous puissiez mieux comprendre ce que je veux dire.

Si je peux me permettre, je cherche ensuite à épaissir mes contours, et à arrondir leurs extrémités, mais même souci : le script ne comprend pas bien. Auriez-vous une autre astuce pour ce problème là?

Illustrator Cs5/Cs6: problème illustration détaillée.

Je vous explique mon problème.
J'ai commencé Photoshop et Illustrator avec la version Cs5, je ne fais que du dessin en noir et blanc et j'avais l'habitude de vectoriser mes productions avec l'option présente sur Illustrator Cs5 nommée "illustration détaillée", qui permettait un rendu vectorisé quasi-identique à celui de mes dessins, qui sont composés de lignes très fines (parfois trois ou quatre pixels) que je travaille toujours sur 300 dpi.
Depuis que j'ai installé Cs6, j'ai bien sûr remarqué que l'option "vectorisation détaillée" avait été enlevée (incommensurable incompréhension, c'est peu dire), et qu'aucune des options proposées n'égalait (même de très loin) la finesse de vectorisation de cette option dans Cs5
Est-ce que quelqu'un sait donc s'il est possible sur Illustrator Cs6 d'obtenir une vectorisation égalant celle détaillée de Cs5 (en triturant les options ou autre?) ou vais-je devoir réinstaller et utiliser celle de Cs5?

Ce que je tenterais dans le cas de plantages récurrents, c'est principalement une réinstallation de l'application, il se peut qu'à la première installation, certains fichiers aient été corrompus en lecture et écriture, provoquant les désagréments rencontrés.
Quant à la migration des préférences, parfois bien utile, peut-être que la fonction "d'enregistrer sous" pointe sur un dossier/fichier qui a été supprimé depuis…

Can you remove XMP data from .eps files in Illustrator-CS5.5?

Background:
I'm using font software called Typetool 3 and Illustrator CS5.5.
I am using these on Windows 7, 64 bit.
This is entry level font software released by Fontlab.
This software accepts artwork through the .eps file format in both theory and practice.
However: it refuses illustrator CS5.5 .eps files.
When I looked at this I came up with two highly interesting things: First- CS5.5 illustrator files are roughly 13 times the size of CS5 files, of this type (a simple font glyph-comparing a 29-30 kbfile to a 420-450 kb file in cs5 and cs5.5 respectively).
Thing two came from looking at what that data was (by opening it in a text editor). It appears that some of the data XMP data, illustrators data for tracking things like who created the file, copyright, and other. In document info many of these fields were blank. I'm sure this isn't the only issue because my exported xmp data is 64 kb large, but it does account for a chunk of the file.
The main question being: Can this xmp data; which for my purposes is redundant, because I have to put copyright and other data in the font, be removed or not included at the point of document creation?
The technical question being:Can the file be saved in a manner which will allow it to be exported from adobe CS5.5 and imported into Typetool 3?
Things I've tried:
In saving .eps file: removing document headers, previews, color data, saving as different versions of the language. Basically saving it without all settings.
In saving .ai file: saving without any settings checked (without compression, pdf editting, ect.) and saving it to a different level of illustrator.
I do not know enough about postscript programming to navigate the file or remove the offending data. Nor do I have time to do this over multiple glyphs.
As a matter of opinion I do not like that my software is including potentially identifying information (which is one of the intents of XMP data, to provide identification) without notifying the creator, let alone allowing me to keep it from doing that. I would not mind or bother-except for the fact its messed up an established workflow. If someone editted this data without my knowledge, say with a virus or heaven forbid manually, it would be also be bothersome. Having a check that identifies that I am sending this data out would give me something to know if this situation was in fact happening. Additionally for a situation like mine-communication between programs in a closed environment where no other users are involved, its unnecessary and wasteful... like putting gold rims on what is intended to be an oxcart.
I'm planning on going to Fontlab for later this week, as it is as much thier issue as it is Adobe's. From what I know XMP is both a useful and popular technology- having a workaround for this situation seems like it would be a good idea. If necessary I can attach some working files for comparision.

I would save it as EPS (version Illustrator 3). This should be compatible to almost any software that takes EPS.

How can I get a Distiller dialog box in Illustrator CS5 which is exactly the same as Distiller?

I would like to know if there is some type of plug-in, etc. out there that would allow me to have all the functionality of a Distiller dialog box when I save a PDF out of Illustrator CS5. Right now, I just have what comes installed with Illustrator. It's a stripped down version of what you would find in distiller.

When you save a PDF out of Distiller it doesn't just have different options, it's an entirely different program. It doesn't do things the same way, so it can't have the same options. Saving from Distiller is in many ways better, expecially in that transparency isn't flattened.
What specific options are you looking for?

What font? What system? What Glyph? What language settings? Could be anything. Either way, ask in the AI forum. You'll get quicker answers there - if you provide all the required info.
