Illustrator cs6/ Indesign CS6/ Photoshop cs6 updates install failed

I used Application Manager Enterprise 3.1 to created one Adobe CS6 package. and the check for update has been disabled.
the created cs6 package was installed in computer. Recently I got newer version updats of Ilustrator 16.0.3, Indesign 8.0.2, Photoshop 13.0.1.3.
I want to insatll these updates, so I removed the file "AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat" from "C:\Program files\common files\adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0". the update function is enabled.
when I run the exe file of these updates, it show below error message. the error in english is: Update install failed. Cannot apply this update patch, please use help menu to check the latest updates.
But according to the cutomer's requirement, should not use the help menu to install the updates. I have to find a solution to make the updates install successfully.
Any guys have solution or suggestion on this issue? Thanks!

If you look at the install fail log , then it is written

The payload is for the Illustrator CS6 Core 16.0.0.0 , hence it is not for the update but the core installation of the Illustrator.
The reason of the fail is at the time of installation the installor was unable to preserve the original file at "/Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS6/Adobe Illustrator.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeCrashReporter.framework/Adob eCrashReporter" ,
So , on running the Cleaner tool , the "Illustrator.app" got deleted and on re-running the installation , it worked because a fresh illustrator.app was written.

Worst now I can not start my Illustrator CS 6 at all.

I have been trying to update my Illsutrator, Extension Manager, and Photoshop.
I have tried about five time using different methods.
Each time I received the following error message:
AI CS6 Creative Cloud Update

Whilst this may prove to be the only way to install the updates, it reads as though it only takes a few minutes to complete but as others have reported it's a real pain to have to go all through a clean up and then full installation particularly if you have a number of plugins to re-install / activate! Not the best solution and I would have hoped Adobe could have come up with a better solution. As it is I will not be going through the update and will set the application manager to manual rather than have the icon constantly on displayed in the taskbar expecting to update what doesn't work.

Hi,
This error appears when there are some background program running in the machine, the best option is to complete close the machines that all running process are closed. Restart the machine, it should work.
You can also kill all the process related to CC in task manager/activity monitor & then launch.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

OS X 10.8.4 Update Install Fail

My Apple Mac Pro was working fine. Then Apple kept harrassing me through their on screen messages that I had to update the OS X to 10.8.4 via the crappy app store. I did as they said and now the computer has been down for the past two days saying that the update install failed and I have to re-install the OS. When I try to do this it fails as well. Now how could Apple break a perfectly good computer and set my business back two days and how can I fix it?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Have you tried booting into the Safe Mode? Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application unistaller. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

We have SCCM 2012 R2 and recently updated to CU3
Existing client is version 5.00.7958.1000
Pushing update package created during CU3 update failing on some computers
I am trying to update some of laptops using CU3 x86 update and getting following errors
Script for Package:ABC00126, Program: Cumulative update 3 - x86 client update install failed with exit code 1642
I have reviewed many forms but couldn't find relevant.
Update works on about 70% on machines with same image but failed on rest with same 1642 error
Same issues occurs applying client on during TSequence on some of machines.
It is very inconsistent,
Any help would be greatly apprciated

I verified package does copied over in ccmcache folder.
Also try to run update package using pstools, got error same as Torsten mentioned.
