Illustrator download problems on mac
I have been downloading Illustrator for 3 hours with only 15%. What gives? I'm new to Mac, is there a setting I need to fix?
I called support and after a long hold time, was directed to download Illustrator from the site: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=illustrator
It is the trial version. Once that is in, I just needed to log in using the Cloud credentials and it OK'd it.
I don't remember logging in, but I think it was because I already was and it recognized it.

You don't need Adobe AIR to download or install Adobe Reader.
Try downloading the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ -
I successfully downloaded Illustrator or my Mac Desktop running OS 10.6.8. However, when I attempt to download it on my MacBook Pro laptop, which runs the same operating system, I get at error message saying that this system is not supported by Illustrator. Any suggestions?

I accidentally uninstalled the Illustrator CC from my mac. Now I can't re-download the application. Everytime I click "Download", it takes me to the creative cloud app and only shows me the app is up to date. Is there any way I can re-download and reinstall Illustrator CC?

Problems with Freehand Illustrator CS4 script for Macs
A couple of us just downloaded the new Freehand to Illustrator CS4 script for Macs that was released on 5/17/10. Sometimes it works okay, but more often than not we get errors like 'ERROR: 1, Access is denied'. If we instead just open the Freehand file, the file comes in fine. What have been other people's experiences using this new script?
Mac OS X 10.5.5Is the problem there only at the time of conversion or even the FH files are not opening after running the script
Here is what I have done and may be you can follow the exact steps :
1) Create a folder FH on Desktop and paste only the FH files in the folder( My folder does not contain any other file apart from FH files)
2) Create a Folder AI on Desktop and keep it empty
3) File-> Scripts-> FreehandToAI
4) Select the source folder( FH)
5) Now select the destination folder(AI)
It gives the message after conversion "N freehand files are converted to AI". -
After I updated lion to 10.7.4, app store does not recognize my ID APPLE and it unable to connect me to app store in order to update/download apps? What have I to do? I have the same problem with mac mini e mac book air. Please help me!
Your advice did not help me. I also installed 10.7.4 combo but the situation is the same.

I am facing the problem on downloading apps from Mac App Store, when I try to install the application from App store, I am getting an error message "Status_Code_Error" while click on "Login"
Same problem here in Brazil.
It seems to be a problem with logging in App Store in the Mac (Yosemite 10.10.2).
When I tried the very same userid and password I was able to login in to use my iCloud account from the same computer and also from my iPhone. -

WHatever issues you have are specifuc to your local system, not Adobe. Since you have not provided any shred of useful,technical details such as system info nobody can tell you anything.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and test.

Eric Cosby which Adobe software or service are you referring too? Have you tried utilizing the Activity Monitor to verify that Safari is closed?

i have problem in mac store when i try to download app i get note (( app failed to download use the purchases page to try again ))
i try to downlod twitter and ccleaner but i can't open the app ?!?!!!It can also be an iTunes issue. Many of us, including myself, are not used to the new interface of iTunes 11 and would find ways to downgrade the available iTunes 11 back to iTunes 10.7 in Mac OS Mavericks. The only issue with downgrading (using AppZapper and Pacifist) is that you will not be able to update/install apps from the App Store after rebooting the Mac.
If you happen to have downgraded your iTunes in this method, then uninstall the iTunes 10.7 and reinstall iTunes 11 again - the App Store should resume its download/update function without any issue.

Error compiling Illustrator CS6 plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite)

if i try to compile a Illustrator (CS6) plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and use the MacOS 10.5 SDK, I get the following error:

alignment pragma is not supported on this target

Did anybody know how to solve this problem?

Best RegardsI'm surprised there's a 68K setting at all, given that CS6 had been on Intel architecture for so long. Have you had any luck since then?
I tried compiling the sample AI6 plugins with OS X 10.8 (I think) and it worked fine, although I wasn't able to make any headway because the loss of ADM made for a very, very steep learning curve. Anyway, fast-forward a couple of years and I have time again to give this another shot, hoping to use Xcode to build a Mac interface, but I'm having a different puzzling error. I'm on a late 2012 iMac now with Yosemite 10.10.3. I downloaded Xcode 5.1.1 and am using that (after my system automatically updated to Xcode 6) and am getting an error:
Carbon.h file not found
Is it just not possible to compile for CS6 under Yosemite?
I'd really, really appreciate any suggestions.
