Illustrator for MAC - Eastern Languages Support

I am looking to purchase a license for an Adobe Illustrator Version - MAC OS - that would support input for Eastern Languages (Mandarin, Arabic, ..)
Any input that helps would be much appreciated.

I have the iTunes 7.0.2.16 and Eastern language support installed on my computer, but the Japanese, Chinese, and Thai entitled songs and artists on my computers still have little boxes. It might be that your ID3 tags are not in the right encoding. ConvertZ is a program that might help. Are you able to input the info in the correct script manually?

In the first instance, I'd use Onyx and run through its sequence of maintenance and tune up tools:
Verify, Maintenance, Cleaning.
I'd also reset the SMC and PRAM (Google them)
If that doesn't help then I'd look at System Preferences.. > Accounts > Login Items tab (not Login Options). Check what processes get started at login and decide which ones you don't want.
After that I'd use Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor to see if any processes are using a lot of computer power or if anything else nasty might be happening.
If none of this helped then my final step would be to reinstall OS X.

Quicken for Mac is not supported by Quicken Canada or Quicken US

I had an issue with download my ING Direct transactions into Quicken 07 Mac. When I contacted quicken.com support they asked to contact quicken.ca support. Below is what I received from quicken.ca when I submitted my issue to them:

Thank you for the information. I currently use Quicken 2002 for Mac and am pretty satisfied with the tracking of personal data. Now I am planning to upgrade to a new iMac and wondering if my Quicken will run on the new machine. I would readily consider buying a new version of Quicken but as you have pointed out, Intuit Canada no longer produces a version for the Mac. Dang!
I'm not sure if a U.S. version would be able to import my data and allow me to carry on. I just want to be able to track bank deposits and chequing, credit cards and loans. I also need to be able to generate transaction reports - Quicken has been excellent for this feature. Downloading of bank account data for reconciliation is nice but not absolutely necessary for me. If anyone knows of an application that I could use in place of Quicken and could import all my old Quicken data, I would like to hear about it.

Where your database server is located does not matter, AIX or Windows or other os.
And AL32UTF8 would mean a Unicode database which means it may be used to store basically any language characters.
You need to look into client side locale settings, if e.g. windows pcs are setup properly or putty terminal configuration is correct.
Please download and use Oracle SQL Developer, as it is Unicode "aware" and can be used to verify character data.
In a Windows console window (cmd prompt), you need to take care of oem code page and matching char set part of NLS_LANG to indicate what's in use.

I know in In Design you can have a template file set up with a right to left text box which can be copied into any version of In Design and used for Arabic text.
If you can get hold of an Illustrator file set up in the ME version this may work too.
I only rarely typeset Arabic in small quantitys so this is a good workaround for me.

Outlook for Mac no longer supported????

can anyone confirm that mountain lion no longer supports sync with Outlook and you can't sync Outlook with icloud? This is what I am being told by support but seems too rediculous for words?

Thanks mende1 but as advised by apple support I have just finished erasing my hard drive and in 6 hrs (so it says) I will be back to lion no one has been able to tell me how I can sync outlook to my iPhone 5 even though I am only using apple everything except for office although it is office Mac 2011. If you have the way to do it please let me know

I purchased a creative suite in 2010 with Iluustrator for use on a Mac. I also have a PC and want to know if I can also use this creative suite for that computer as well, or if the purchase was only good for use on a Mac?

When they changed to Creative Cloud CC, the same serial could work for both sides.

Color profile mismatch in Illustrator for Mac. Cannot open file.

As much as I click and try to open the file, I still receive the same dialogue box and cannot access the file. It was created in the same Illustrator version and it was fine the day before. Any suggestions?

HT204655 Photos for Mac does not support semi professional camera Nikon D7000!

Since Nikon does not support USB storage mode, the (semi)professional line of Nikon cannot be used to import pictures!!
This is a serious flaw in the program. Aperture supports Nikon D7000, Image Capture supports the camera but the latest and greatest has forgotten all about supporting market leader's camera's?
The main and only reason NOT to use Photos... Or did I miss something here?

Sorry guys, forget all about it. I switch my camera off and on again (while it was connectoed to the Mac) and it appeared in Photos.
No idea what happened, but I can import my pictures.
