Because Illustrator is part of the Creative Cloud, latest innovations and features that are added to the products are immediately available to Creative Cloud members. The Unembed image feature was available through a feature  update, and is thus available only to Creative Cloud members.

    I had the same problem with no updates found for my Creative Cloud Illustrator installation.
    Here's how I was able to finally update it.
    Uninstall Illustrator
    Reinstall Illustrator, which will still be 16.0.0
    Check for updates in newly installed Illustrator
    Update found
    Install update
    Note: I found the new package feature doesn't package linked images that are in opacity masks. Reported it as a bug.

  • Update of illustrator cc 2014 using Creative Cloud for desktop fails permanently.

    Hello,
    I am trying to update the illustrator cc 2014 using Creative Cloud for desktop. The download fails due to error -60.
    Yesterday I spent few hours on chat with a support repesentative, who directed me to ask ISP for download file size limitation. The ISP responded that there are no limitations of download file at all.
    Any help with direct download instead of the desktop is appreciated.

    No you have not lost your work. You can still open the old project in CC. Providing you did not overwrite. CC14 project should read Projectname-1. Otherwise try an auto save.

  • Indesign CC Trial - Download failed but Creative Cloud only shows it as downloaded - how can I try downloading it again?

    Indesign CC Trial did not download successfully (no launch button in Applications) so I deleted it.
    Creative Cloud only shows it in Apps as downloaded and updated.
    How can I try downloading it again?

    I assume you have the S/Ns. The download is at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. Be sure to backup the download to CD or backup HD for future use.

  • My second creative cloud only lets me use trials. I have tried everything to get it to allow me to use it on both like it should. Please help

    I have creative cloud on my lap top but downloaded the second on my desktop. It is only allowing me to use the trial of After effects and I have tried everything and it still won't let me. It keeps asking for a serial number.

    make sure you used the correct adobe id (the one you used to subscribe).

  • Creative Cloud only 1 or 2 out of all apps work.

    I have Creative Cloud, where i am allowed to install all programs that include in the package. I work at a Webdesign company, the problem is i installed all the nessecary programs i needed to work with. But i can only open Photoshop. After effects, illustrator, indesign, lightroom, dreamweaver and some other programs can't open. I click the program on my dock, the loading screen opens and then it "is not responding" instantly. Im on a macbook pro 8gb ram from mid 2011. I can't find anyone with the same problem as me, i tried reinstall all programs aswell as Creative Cloud. Nothing works.
    Sorry for my english, not my main language.

    right click on the songs that do transfer and select create aac version then re sync

  • Illustrator CC2014 and Update Creative Cloud Desktop App

    Hi,
    I am using the Creative Cloud Student edition on Windows 8.1. Right now I have some problems with Illustrator and the Desktop App itself, however I absolutely need it to work right now for University. I try to explain the problem as clear as I can, I hope you can help me!
    First, the problem I have with Illustrator: I installed the newest version (CC2014) a couple of weeks ago. It all worked fine at first. After some time, when opening the application, I got a message saying it can't be opened and that I should go to the .exe file and operate it as Administrator. When I clicked okay, Illustrator opened without me doing what I was told.. This kept going on for a couple of days until now. I cannot open it anymore, a message appears saying: The localized source files for this application could not be loaded. Fix this application or reinstall. Then try again. .The problem is, I cannot fix or reinstall the application, I can't even uninstall it (It says there were problems and not everything was uninstalled..) Now I don't know what to do?
    Second, I cannot update my creative cloud desktop app. It says: Creative Cloud desktop could not be updated. Error Code: 50. I have searched for that error code, but could not find any explanation.

    Just purchased the Creative Cloud and when i go to download apps. Only the trial version is available. Anyone know what to do?

    Are you getting "download trial " option on website, then try to sign out and sign in back from your Adobe account once, it may help sometimes.

  • Illustrator CS6 download through Creative Cloud "appears corrupted" according to App Manager

    I'm trying to install Illustrator CS6 through the Adobe Application Manager on Mountain Lion 10.8.  All of the other apps downloaded and installed fine.
    But when trying to downlaod Illustrator, it downlaods the file, and the a message appears saying "The download appears corrupted.  Please Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again. (-60)".  I've been trying off and on for the past week or so now.
    Any tips or tricks?
    Not sure if it's relevant since the other apps installed fine, but I'm currently installing to a new external SSD drive that I've booted from.  I'm installing all the software I need onto it.  Then once I'm done and ready, I'll swap drives.
    I'm running Apple OS 10.8 on a Macbook Pro with 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo procs and 8GB of RAM.  The MacBook Pro is a 17-inch early 2009 model (first unibody model).

    Hi Adam,
    Its a workaround but might be an easy solution, you might just download and install the Illustrator CS6 trial and then just license it to be part of your Creative Cloud membership using the "License This Software" option.

  • Creative cloud only shows spinning blue wheel

    Hi,
    I have the spinning blue wheel issue on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
    I have tried all the options in this article:

    I even uninstalled all Adobe CC apps and tried from scratch but that didn't help either however the problem still exists.
    Any additional ideas? Are there any logfiles that I could look into to gather further information?

  • HELP paid for creative cloud and no apps will work

    I had the free trial of creative cloud and decided to buy the one year membership. It says that everything is up to date on the website, but when I try to open any of the apps, it says to renew my membership. What am I doing wrong?

    Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
    If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?
